  1. That name just makes me think of Battle Royale (awesome movie). I myself secured Nuclear. That's where it comes from. Well, it comes from the novel, which I'm currently re-reading. Been meaning to actually watch the movie fully, read the manga first, then saw the novel in Waterstones (was looking for the GitS manga, nowhere seems to [bleep]ing have it). (For anyone who is interested, Koushun Takami, the author of Battle Royale is apparently working on a second novel)
  2. Perhaps that is true for some people. Certainly doesn't work for me though. Apparently, I have a cute smile, and I never show off my teeth (part of one is missing, a little self-conscious about that). Thing about a smile though, your eyes count too.
  3. Can't be bothered putting any recent pictures up. Mainly for the fact I haven't taken any recently, well, a few that my girlfriend took, and one (decent) one of us together, which is still pretty bad (too small). But this is for any of you who take a "close up" picture in a [bleep]ing mirror. Clearly, you have no idea of the basics of photography. If you'll search through this thread, and find any of me, they were taken by myself, and guess what the focus is? Me. Not a camera. You've all put the camera in the front of the picture, therefore making it the focus, not yourself. It takes some practice if you want to take them by yourself, but you eventually can do it, most of the time.[/rant] Anyway, Abc, you really ought to shave, it would make you look better. I need to shave myself, but I've only got an electric razor (don't want to use blades) and that's [bleep]ing up, and as for smiling, don't bare your teeth like that, do a small smile, keeping your mouth closed, though you actually seem to be the type that would suit a ponytail/shorter hair more.
  4. I got Kiriyama after multiple attempts at (unranked) names. Really annoying at times how I can't get certain names that have been unranked for months and in some cases, years.
  5. Could it be Brooklyn's Finest? I know you said London, but the fact you don't remember much means you may be confused. Here's a link to a trailer - Here it is on IMDB - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1210042/ This is probably the closest I could get, and you may be confusing the details with other films. Release date - March 5th 2010.
  6. Yeah, the Comic is definitely superior in every way. Though, that is only because of time constraints placed upon the movie, to do Watchmen well, you'd probably need at least 5 hours, not many people are willing to watch something that long, though I definitely would. Books will always be better than films, until we're allowed to have films that are longer than 3 hours, and not in multiple parts. I'm looking at you Deathly Hallows.
  7. My friend tried to submit his to the Guiness World Records and said it was too much work because they had to personally see it for themselves to confirm it or have some other form of solid evidence, or something like that. So that 700 person was the highest of the people who submitted their time to them and had it confirmed. It was over 700 days of ingame time. We were given the figure of 17,000 hours, not 700.
  8. You will NOT be disappointed. Hilarious movie Is it a good horror/comedy, or is it a horror that's so bad it becomes a comedy? It's a good comedy, I can't say there is much horror in it (they didn't try to make it horror either). It's funny funny, not bad funny. Might be my top zombie film. Loved the actors, loved the zombies, loved the scenes. Don't think too much about the plot though. All around good Yeah, I think they tried to put a bit of horror in it, though it failed really (The opening for example) however, that could just be because it is mainly a comedy, so I could never take it seriously enough. Too busy laughing at it most of the time. I think, depending on the type of person you are, it may scare you a little, but over the top gore, and how they went around it just makes you laugh, especially the ending.
  9. Yeah, 30 Days of Night looked pretty cool, the box of the blu-ray version is thin, so I nearly missed it. Xecer, I really don't watch a lot, compared to some, and what I do watch is actually pretty limited. I was thinking of Shutter Island, the trailers look pretty good, same with Law Abiding Citizen.
  10. Well, for anyone who actually bothers to read this when I update, here it goes. Firstly, I've stopped RCing due to a lack of motivation, the 500k ess is still in my bank, as a way of keeping money. Anyway, as to why I've lost my motivation. As I posted as a comment on Xecer's Blog (he tells me to say he is awesome, or he will hurt kittens, so people, to protect the kittens, Xecer is awesome), I was able to spend some time with my girlfriend. Yeah, bit of a distance between us, but she is worth it. I'll sum up the few days. Sunday 14th: I arrived to the town in which she resides, spent a few hours with her. Monday 15th: Went around the shops in her town, along with spending some time with her in the hotel room. The Forbidden Planet there sucked, first time I've ever been in one and the ground floor is full of Twilight [cabbage], and to make it worse, they didn't have the Ghost in the Shell manga. I think this is the day when I bought Blood: The Last Vampire and the Underworld Trilogy, also finished the book she gave me (Patient Zero) Tuesday 16th: Pretty much the same as the day before, nothing notable, but I did only go down to spend time with her. Ate in a Chinese restaurant, it's different from what I'm used to, so I couldn't eat much, bought the Watchmen graphic novel and Battle Royale. Wednesday 17th: This day, we saw The Wolfman, was absolute pish, but I liked being with her. Thursday 18th: The day I had to leave, she met me earlier than she had on other days, since I was leaving around 3pm. That's about it for my trip. Books Patient Zero, Jonathan Maberry - It's about zombies, what more could you want? It basically follows a few days surrounding the events of terrorism and their "zombie" virus. Though, they are actually called "Walkers" in this. It's actually a good read, if you can get past it switching between the current events through the eyes of the terrorists/the main character and the events that lead up to it, from the terrorists' side. Watchmen, Alan Moore - I'd seen the film first, but this completely wins over it in all ways possible, I'd definitely recommend reading this if you haven't already. Battle Royale, Koushun Takami - I haven't seen the film in its entirety, however, it's always intrigued me. The novel is, as you'd expect, a good read, and definitely worth the time it takes to read. Movies This'll be the longest section, I've copied my post from What movie(s) did you last see? (http://forum.tip.it/topic/24273-what-movies-did-you-last-see/) First of all was The Wolfman (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780653/ I have to say, this sucked, I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. Apparently someone in my class at college also saw it, he said it sucked too. Don't know whether I went first or not, but I was away from college, so I saw it with my girlfriend. Next came Blood: The Last Vampire (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0806027/ This film appealed to me the first time I heard about it, just by the time I could actually buy it in stores, it was impossible to find, I luckily came across it a few weeks ago, and I have to say, I enjoyed it. It was lacking a bit, but was overall, enjoyable for the (roughly) 90 minutes. After that, it was Underworld (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320691/ Never actually bothered with this series of films before, but all 3 for £20, and a reccomendation from my girlfriend compelled me to buy it. Again, was planning on getting it months ago, but I was underage, and I rarely go up town. A good movie overall. Next, it was Underworld: Evolution (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401855/ Really can't add more than what I said about Underworld. And just today, I went to the cinema to see The Crazies (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455407/ I can't really judge this compared to the 1973 version, as I haven't seen that yet, I'll probably pick it up at some point. Overall, I enjoyed this film, the tension was done well, though after a few times, you started to expect things to happen, yet at one point I can honestly say I didn't see something coming when it did, perhaps I should have. Possibly seeing this again on Thursday with a mate, assuming nothing comes up, it is definitely a film I think enough of to view again in the cinema, it could possibly be one of my favourite movies. I'm still got a few to watch, starting with Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0834001/ I've got to watch this prequel to the previous films, just because I don't like watching something without seeing the whole series, if it is a series of films. Next, I'll be watching Dead Snow (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1278340/ Its got zombies. I don't need any other reason. Was on offer on blu-ray at 2 for £25. And the last of my recent purchases, 30 Days of Night (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389722/ I was having trouble deciding on a second film to choose (part of the previously mentioned offer) when I saw this in there. I was mildly interested in this film a year or two ago, but never watched it, so it's the reason why I chose it over some other choices. (Hot Fuzz for one, which I've previously seen.) I have to say, I'm quite enjoying being 18 now and being able to purchase the films I'm interested in when I see them, could have tried it before (like I accidentally did with Watchmen, thought it was a 15 for some reason) but I disliked the thought of being caught out and asked for I.D, which of course, I wouldn't be able to produce, however, I make sure to carry I.D. with me now.

  12. Can't they get the law involved? Because it seems a bit..Strange that they are knowingly dealing in stolen goods, and furthermore, protecting this person who committed the crime from being caught.
  13. Thanks for that Atronic. If I'm correct, then that means it should make little difference for the time period I specified, which works out well for me. I am training Summoning, yes, however I've decided on getting the Obsidian Charms (1,593) of them, since it's cheaper.
  14. Well, damn..That makes the whole thing a lot harder.
  15. Okay, I'm fairly confident I have this right, however, I'd like some confirmation. http://services.runescape.com/m=devblog/images/bonus_xp/xp_formula.jpg Using the information there, I worked out what I should be able to use my charms up in. 1st hour = 2.7* exp. 2nd Hour = 2.5* exp 3rd Hour = 2.2* exp This means once 1 hour passes, I go down to 2.5 exp, and 1 more hour means I'm down to 2.2* exp. So, over 3 hours, I should average a 2.46 multiplier. 6,969,140 exp over those hours. Current exp = 4649194 11,618,334 exp at the end. This works out, correct?
  16. yah cuz spelling has so much to do with intelligence go find something better to do troll Actually, it does. Also, with your supposed use of spellcheckers, Firefox certainly has found a few mistakes of yours. Langer is far from a troll, and made a valid point. Reliance on technology to catch your mistakes certainly makes you an idiot, also you appear a show-off, trying to say you are superior to the other player, because you supposedly have a "car, house and a anything you want" to use your exact words. I really doubt you work for an advertising company if your brain is incapable of catching your mistakes.
  17. Perhaps you should learn that BB Code has ways of making words stand out.
  18. If they start limiting what people can say, then a good majority of the users will leave, and even less people will join. I, for one, would leave if we weren't allowed to post our opinions, as long as they are not flamebait.
  19. Not true Pulli. I emptied MTK just before membership ended. When I renewed a week later, I had items in MTK.
  20. Also note that driving takes much more skill than killing Jad. The only reason people don't die in car crashes everyday is because of practice. All you need to kill Jad is hand-eye coordination and some good timing. I wont even list all the things needed to drive a car correctly. And getting to Jad isn't even an issue... I don't know how people who can grind to 93 slayer are complaining about being forced to grind before fighting Jad. This [cabbage] should be their specialty. How should it be our specialty? I myself never had any motivation to get a Fire Cape, and I got to 99 Slayer. The difference? I enjoyed Slayer, I don't enjoy going through the Caves, only to possibly die at Jad. I never died once during Slayer.

    Back from holiday :)

    Who would have worried?
  22. I disagree. I don't believe there was a problem to begin with, to be honest. Ice strykewyrms are a single new type of Slayer monster; no matter how you look at it, the ability to fight them is in no way significantly game-changing. Strykewyrms can only be assigned once players have fulfilled the requirements (so it isn't as if people are being futilely assigned tasks they cannot complete), and their specialty drop is tradeable (so players don't necessarily have to slay the wyrms to obtain an SoL). Because of this, I can see no reason why this situation is noteworthy, let alone a "problem" to be "fixed". Simply put, you aren't missing out on too much if you can't fight the new Slayer monster. And yes, Jagex are more or less obligated to listen to their players when problems arise, but was this really a problem? Can you tell me so, in all seriousness? I'll be completely honest: the "solution" will ultimately cause far more problems than it supposedly "solved". Again, I don't particularly care about the Fire cape requirement issue itself. I believe the actual problem is that the mindless ranting on the RSOF actually accomplished something; with every victory, as the ranters see it, they grow more bold. You can expect for more and more players to start bitterly complaining after every update now, whether there's a legitimate issue with the content or not. There are clearly results to be had, so long as enough players band together to rant for them, and it appears that Jagex will only become more compliant as this wears on. It's truly a slippery slope we've come to. If this continues, who knows what will happen in the future? Oh please.. You're acting if Jagex changes every update because a lot of players complain. If that happened, then we'd have Old PC, Wildy and Free Trade.
