  1. You choose to have sound on, and they can choose the way they want to do it. The world does not revolve around you. They have just as much right to be there doing it. Maybe you should move elsewhere?
  2. The reason people do it right at the bank door? Because it's faster. If they were to move 5 squares away, then that makes each run slightly longer, and since they'll be doing it a lot, the time builds up. The current way they are doing it lets them get the most out of their bat.

    Today...

England collapses from a bit of snow. We Scottish just go on with our lives. Takes more than a bit of snow to stop us. Today, I still have this cold from yesterday. What fun.
  4. So that would make 2007 "007"?
  5. Yes, both would have access to Vengeance without adding extra combat levels. At least, I'm sure they would. Not too sure about Quest EXP. Though, even adding in the better armours, the difference in defences is probably little, and combat is pretty much luck based as it is. If I'm right in guessing how Piety works, then the BP would have an effective attack level of 141. Now, if you consider Super Defence potions, that'd put you at 118 Defence, and the BP, potting and Piety, would have an effective defence level of 106. So, in the end, you'd have a 12 level Defence advantage, whilst he would have a 23 Attack level advantage over your attack level. Or, to put it otherwise, you'd have 12 attack levels over his defence, whilst he'd have 23 attack levels over your defence. This to me seems to be a huge advantage, that won't really be offset by using more effective armour.
  6. You're on the internet. It's pretty much the world hate machine.
  7. Gavati, it's the Guinness World Records. The holder is given an award, and all information has to be verified. It is most likely to be the real name, unless the person had given a fake name to avoid people, like those on here, judging him or her. Though it's likely she has given the real name.
  8. It would appear to be rather, ineffective for PKing. Let's take a Barrows pure. 99 Attack 99 Strength 70 Defence 99 HP 70 Prayer That is level 115, two levels above yours, and would have access to Piety, and most of the same armours as you, now, if we take you both being in "welfare" gear, without the fire cape, the BP would be able to hit 42 with the whip, and you'd hit 36 max. Whilst Piety would give him an effective 87.5 defence level (which would probably round to 87.) Not to mention he would be more accurate, and probably more likely to hit you. So, would it be effective? No, I do not think so.
  9. Yeah, I agree with you there. Unfortunately, we're on a fan-site's forum on the internet. These people will, of course, say such things whilst enjoying the fact there are no repercussions. I find it more disgusting that Jagex would release this information in the past. I'm sure this player did not appreciate her username and playing time posted where people could see. Of course, with the World Record's, it's a different matter. However, Jagex's release of this information in the past seems like a major slip-up on their behalf. In fact, the only thing they did right then was not release since when this player has played, which would of course, bring up a better view of their, for lack of a better word, addiction. We would likely assume this player joined near the beginning, and therefore work the calculations from there, bringing it to less hours per day. Of course, with this information now easily available, people can work out, or rather it has been worked out, that this player has a high daily time. Though we could actually factor in that this player may have had a situation like Villandra, and, whilst I am at it, we could also consider different situations and find that a portion of it was concentrated out of a bad situation. But, we don't have any of this information, nor do we have to means to prove it. So, unfortunately, these people and their comments will continue. It's a pitiful that people here would resort to that. You guys are really helping show this is a "mature" community.
  10. Regarding Is RuneScape Recession Proof? Let's take the end piece of the article. "If what I've researched is correct, a resolution would be to break your addiction, and get more done. Of course, not if you plan on going into video game design. If people are really addicted as it seems, the industry should continue to grow as the tobacco industry has." I'm changing this line, I may have been a bit rash, but, for those who take this as meaning that playing games more makes you better at game design, read on. To get into game design, there are a multitude of factors. Hell, you can even get a job just designing buildings for games. For example, GTA:SA, I know for a fact that they had people solely focused on designing buildings. Rather than look at other games, having an "addiction" to them, if I may use the term. It would actually be more beneficial to actually look at what game design entails. Most people think it is as simple as coming up with a game, working on parts of it, then it's done. I'm a college student in Scotland, doing a media course (which involves Video Games), and during my interview for it, months ago, I learned a few things, namely that game design is not as clear cut as it seems. I was told that I'd be best to find an area to focus in, and work on it. Frankly, in a lot of games, inspiration seems to come more from mythology, history and real life. Not other games. Again, GTA:SA, notice two of the bridges that connect the 2nd and 3rd Island? Forth Road and Rail Bridges. So, my advice? Look into history, mythology and real life if you wish to pursue a career in game design, choose an area to focus on, practice at it, and do it. Don't just play games and hope you'll become a video game designer. It's not that simple. Of course, for flash games, which I doubt will be a suitable career, the pay would suck, feel free to play as many games as you want, and take inspiration from there. Most flash games are simple, and not that long. BUT if you wish for a career in game design, don't think that playing games is the way to approach it. IT IS NOT THE WAY! EDIT: Ugh.. I have realised I may have read the article wrong, and those two lines aren't supposed to be linked directly, and I've made some edits, but I'll leave the majority here for those who believe playing games more makes it easier to get a career in game design. I apologise for my statements before regarding the article, I am feeling rather distracted and tired. Deathmath, if you see this, could you please either post what you meant, or PM it to me to clear this up.
  11. Thing is Rien, Jagex themselves have, in an interview in the past, said one of their top F2P players has amassed about 17,000 hours, and even went on to name said player, S Diamant Y. Now, let's use simple math to work this out. Taking 17,000 as our number to work with. 17,000/24 = 708.333(repeating). 708 days, 8 hours. Now, consider this article was months ago, the time is likely to have increased since then.

    VISAGE!!!!!

I wouldn't use melee to kill the KBD unless you are maxed. Range with Ruby (e) until half health then Diamond (e) is a better method, as long as you stand next to him, on opposite sides, and pray. At decent range levels, you should manage 10+ kills a trip. With 3 people, 25+ is possible. You'll probably have to take a Terrorbird, I remember taking one, though it's been awhile, so I can't remember the inventory. Plus if it's at a good time, I'm usually up for a KBD trip, if you want.
  13. I've thought about this before, and discussed it with someone. Here's the possible solution we came up with. For every HP level, you gain 2 HP. So Level 10 would be 20 HP, 99 would be 198HP. Of course, this leave the issue of food and monsters, so I propose that each piece of food heals 1.5* the current amount (rounded down). Sharks would heal 30 for example. As with monsters, they would have their damage increased by 1.5* (again, rounded down), so a 20 now would be a 30 then. This makes no change to PvM, whilst making PvP harder. Also, regarding healing specials, they too would benefit from the increased healing. Enhanced Excalibur would heal 6HP*5, instead of 4HP*5, and the SGS would be adjusted accordingly.
  14. 6 D Boot task. 182 kills, plus a back to back pair. In other words, I averaged 1 pair per 30.333* kills.
  15. Sharing is pointless because you get less exp and drops.
  16. You won't encounter too many Revs at Wildy Course. From mid-60s-70, I had to kill a total of.. 3 Orks? Not that many. Plus it's easy to hide from them down the ladder.

    Today...

Why? He's technically right in posting it here. He's saying what he did today. The fact he added in the vid of it does not make it belong in the other topic.
  18. If we're still talking about Armadyl, then logically, Granite Shield is better, since it it cheaper. Strength Bonus does not matter at Armadyl.
  19. You presented it alongside your argument, therefore, it is to be taken as "proof". However, with a low source number, and different equipment, it is rendered void as it proves nothing.
  20. Actually, whilst we're at it. Were you, and the one you were matched with equipped exactly the same? Or was there a difference?
  21. A lot of guys have issues with using a urinal next to another guy. It's uncomfortable for both you, and the other guy. Fact is, we're not insecure, just that standing next to another man, and peeing is uncomfortable. Frankly, it bothers me when a guy insists upon using the urinal next to me, especially when there are others not next to someone free.
  22. So basically, she's likely to be a cheating [bleep] when he's not around. Though, if you misinterpreted my question, as you might have, I was asking if the girl (who has a boyfriend) was sober or not.
  23. Demonic, if you're going to post numbers, then MAKE THEM WORTHWHILE! Posting numbers is trying to back up a point. NOT AN OPINION. Whilst I'm at it, I might as well do this... "3) im obviously giving a general idea you can never be 100% sure this is an opinion" The way that is put means that we can't be 100% sure that it is an opinion. Clearly you did not mean this.
  24. 2010 Resolutions, well... I only have 1. Figure out what I'm going to do beyond college. Kind of an easy one.
