  1. Assassin, while I agree on some of the course choices you would make compulsary, I disagree on a few. Religious stuides, I for one, hated this. I didn't see much point in it either, sure it teaches some morals, but you can pick those up anywhere. I really see no point in learning about other religions, when I honestly, could not give a crap, it won't help me much, if it all. History, I guess I see your point here. Here in Scotland this is compulsary (like all off the subjects you pretty much put there) until our 3rd Year in High School. However, what can it really teach us about life today? Sure, we learn about the mistakes of the past, but thats that, their in the past. And like I really will need to know alot of the stuff they teach us. Geography, to be fair, I choose this as one of my course choices. But I still do not think its is all that needed. Theres hardly anything in it that I can apply to life normally. IT, now really, I could learn more by myself than half the crap they taught us. They never taught me how to touch type, rather, it was more typing the words up from a sheet. Big freaking help that was. Maybe if they taught us more, like how a computer actually worked, then I'd agree. All the subject you put there, are compulsary up to a point where the basics have been taught. I myself am in my 6th year of High School, and I am 16. I turned 16 when I was in 5th year. Are you trying to imply that I should have been doing subjects I hated, for most of my School years? Maybe you need to think that through more. Do not judge by age, as we can all be in different stages of High School at different ages. Infact, in order for what you said to effectively work, you'd need to make all years of High School compulsary, as many leave school when they turn 16. We should have some skills that we need for our dream job, before we leave High School, at least then we have some knowledge for what we are in for. Anyway, as for the OP... Believe it or not, English is needed for every job in English speaking countries. Without it, would any employer take your C.V. seriously if it is badly written? Any subjects you do will have a small effect on your job. If you go in for a job, and so does another person. Say you have the same qualifications that he has for the required skills for the job. Now say that he has some other ones which don't relate to it, which you don't. Overall, they are more likely to choose him because his C.V. is more impressive. So don't think that just because its not a major skill in your dream job, that it won't help at all, because it might just give you the edge over others.
  2. Get Guitar Hero III. Hours of fun, and annoyance.
  3. Boxers. More comfortable, and I've worn them for years now.

Actually, alot of gun injuries during robbings come from the owners fighting back, I think. Its better to let them take what they want, rather than endanger yourself and your family.
  5. Depends on what Animes you see Shadowfax.
  6. Best not to pay attention to the scenery then. The scenery is a very minor part when it comes down to it. Whats more important is the plot and characters. Hell, every T.V show has some faults that we never think of. (Like The Simpsons, Homer and Marge are nearly 40, yet Bart was said to have been born when they were just out of High School, but he's only 10. Hardly anyone would have thought of that until 1 episode of the program where it was revealed.)
  7. Doesn't bother me at all. Alot of people know they don't do alot of filming on location, so we tend to not let us affect us.
  8. Accuse your teacher of being a preditor(sp?), invasion of privacy and all that. For a fact, she shouldn't be accessing files on the interent (in this case, private pages on Myspace) which she shouldn't normally be able to. As for me? Well, I've mostly been caught fighting. Attempting to choke another kid, causing bodily harm to teachers. Best had to be when I punched a guy in the back of the head when he annoyed me, or maybe the whole stabbing a guy with a pencil thing. Though I seriously think some had it in for me (seriously, I was told that people had to split up a "fight", 1 or 2 punch(es) then I walked away actually, accused of throwing a punishment exercise (basically 2 paragraphs we had to write out so many times) on the floor, I actually put it on the desk.)
  9. I agree with the top part. (Really, it wouldn't have happened if someone hadn't (basically) attacked the Ps3. Anyway, there is some interaction with other players, though just with Wars (even then, its just a counter). While there is some more Player interaction in another of AE's games (DragonFable's party system for (some) battles, though its still you controlling them.) Hopefully, their new MMO AQWorlds, will provide some good gameplay.
  10. [hide=spoiler]He may not kill directly but in the ah.. original, batman movie with two face in it, he does cause him to fall to his death by throwing a lot of duplicate coins into the air and in the mad-panic to catch the right one harvey loses his footing...[/hide]But still... you never know [hide=Spoiler]I wouldn't really consider that as Batman killing him. As he lost his footing, its more of a freak accident, rather than a murder. If the recent Two Face died, it would be murder, as Batman pushed him over the edge. Not by accidental killing. Still, I really hope he isn't dead, he's a villian I'd like to see more of (plus some other ones like Scarecrow, Penguin, Riddler and so on.[/hide]
  11. Well, the first Anime I saw would be Dragonball Z. However, I veiwed it more as a cartoon, and was like 10 at the time. As I grew older, I never watched many animes, as alot of the ones here were, well lets just say a bit childish. Fast forward to last year. At this point, I borrowed a few DvDs off my Uncle. One of them was Ghost in the Shell. I loved it. Plot was not aimed towards children, and was a generally beautiful movie overall. I started to watch the Anime on a channel here, (though seriously, it only shows two Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell (rarely seen the first S.A.C on it). From there, I learned alot more about more mature animes. I wouldn't expect a kid to pick it up and understand what is going on. Another Anime film I've seen is Ninja Scrolls. Its rated an 18 here (I'm 16, but my parent's wouldn't really care). It had a great plot, and definately not aimed towards a younger age (Violence, nudity and some other things). Sometimes, for me, theres a line what I would consider an anime I would watch, and one thats aimed more towards kids. You just need to look further for the non-kiddy animes.
  12. Well, if anything, proper grammar helps me to understand a post better. If its a long post, with a wall of text, has fullstops, but no capitalisation, I have problems telling where I am in it half the time, and I can sometimes read the same line over and over again, beacause I don't know where the hell to read, and lose my place often. Sure, I can handle no paragraphs, to an extent, as long as they have capitalisation and full stops. (at least) So, I think, that proper grammar is important to an extent. I mean really, are you going to read 10 lines with no capitalisation, or paragraphing, but uses full stops? If you do read it, will it take longer than a post with proper grammar that has more content to it? More importantly, will you actually take the poster's veiws seriously or just pass it off as a joke because (s)he doesn't seem serious?
  13. 1. We have canine teeth. Therefore, I think we are designed to eat meant. Sure ours might not be as strong, however, we can still bite and eat raw meat if we wanted to. We just prefer it cooked, so it is softer, and safer to eat. 2. Thats a load of crap. Vegetarians and Vegans often lack some vitamins and minerals which are more commonly found in meants. 3. I think we are meat eaters, and natural hunters. Humans were given a brain, we are among the smartest creatures on the planet. Sure we might not chase our prey down, kill it down with our bare hands/ teeth and eat it on the spot without preparing it. We use our brains to fashion weapons and traps with which to hunt. I've never heard about a Lion making a spear with which to hunt. A human would, simply because we lack true natural weapons, but are smarter and have the knowledge to make weapons to aid us.
  14. Good film. [hide=Spoiler]I really doubt Two Face is dead. Batman never kills. So therefore, won't Two Face be alive? Best part had to be the Joker in a nurse's outfit. Seriously though, my mate is an idiot, he things Ledger played Harvey Dent/ Two Face, and that someone else played Joker -.-[/hide]
  15. First off, don't ever recomend a ps3 to anyone....ever. Power it has, games that are awesome and exclusive, about 2 or 3. Secondly, in my opinion, people who need good graphics to think a game is good need to shove face in a blender. Graphics are never a good argument for proving a game sucks. It just proves how superficial society has gotten. Lastly, at least he isn't playing maple story. Screw you. You don't know anything about the Ps3. Ps3s are better than the 360 in my opinion. And other's aswell. Heres some advantages: Memory Space. Yeah, 40gb mostly, however, can use normal harddrives, so like £30 for 160gb here. No RROD, okay true, mine did mess up after 7 weeks, however, I got it replaced, and no problems since. Can play games of previous systems (Ps1, Ps2 for 60GB, Ps1 for 40GB). Some people (I included) don't want to drag out their old console to play games (plus theres the issue with memory cards aswell). Can the 360 do that? I heard that it can't. BLu- Ray player. As I've heard, alot of major companies are going towards Blu-Ray instead of HD-DvD. Built in wireless. WHO THE [bleep] WANTS TO PAY (around) £49.99 FOR A WIRELESS ADAPTER(sp?)

Depends on how you look at it. Maybe you were fated to say, and think that. Maybe, we actually have no control over what we say, do and think. Therefore, it means that you were fated to be wrong. Not saying you are wrong however. Its all how you look at it. Did Hitler really have to kill all those people? Was it choice or fate? Did the war in Iraq have to happen? Again, was it choice or fate? The thing is, we'll never know one way or another.
  17. Played it for awhile. I go back every now and then. Char Page is in my sig (Denizen of Darkness link). But, about your build, post sweep, you'll need to change, or you'll get mauled with 0 END. Oh and Langzor, the combat is no longer Mage heavy, its alot harder now that 1.7k MP doesn't go that far (well, except with some of the Z-token Classics, but its now 10k Tokens for them, I got my Darksplatter when it was 1k) Besides, I'd like to see some people take down some of the Bosses and such in it when they are used to most click and heal.
  18. No offense dude, but I don't think you should be giving parental advice when you have a thread about your own issues right below this one... Anyways, stay at home until she does any physical abuse to you. Blaming you for something you didn't do if far from justice to move out of the house. I wasn't giving him PARENTAL advice. He asked just for advice. And I gave it to him. I can pull away from my own problems to help him with his. You, my friend, need to lay off, seriously. He's asking for advice about his parents you moron. Therefore, Parental advice.
  19. Have you ever smoked, stole or whatever before? Sometimes the actions of the past can stick with you. As for your brother problems... A swift knee to the balls while no-one is around should set him straight.

Are you kidding me? Resident Evil 4 is iffy at best. Only get it, if its cheap. And even then the control and shooting system is crappy.
  21. That just about has to be the funniest one ever. Would have been quite a way to go out too.
  22. Kiriyama replied to IeatWindex's topic in Off-Topic
Anti-climactic much? Actually I think its just them saying "You are not supposed to see his face, so here's a failsafe."
  23. ^crawl in a hole and die, along with all the lame [wagon] Nu-Metal bands. That wasn't very nice.. He has a point though... And I don't think he was trying for "nice".
  24. Well, if you were immortal, i would hope you'd get depressed lolz... LOL \ If he were immortal though, he could overdose on heroin to compensate for the depression and wouldn't ever die Forget that. Make money through betting on stunts that would kill any normal man.
