i downloaded this when you first posted it, but i guess i forgot to leave a post #-o just stopping by to say that there are some awasome stocks, and they are great for manipulation

dude, colage is waaaaay more important then a camra... i would higly recomend you get into a university first. after you get in and everything, you can always save up for a camra after that.

add another gradient to focus the lighting sharpen the bigger render a bit the colors are awafull text is good. unusual for beginners =) other then that, good brushing, and decent overall.

looking good there =) i can really tell youve improved just by looking at the bottem one. few crits font on the lambo sig still sucks. reduce the opacency a bit. white borders look terrible. make them black. the bg on the first one is over sharpend. your renders arent blended very well. no depth minimal lighting no flow (top one may have a bit of it, but not much)

eeeeemmmmoooooo dont worry, emos are cool :thumbsup: his forhead is non existant it looks like a he (your refrence is a boy, but alace is a girl?) hand is to manly hand is to big, and you cant tell where its coming from dont scribble for hair.

you should only pixel if you truly enjoy doing it. i think that if you truly think of any good ideas, then you should stop for a week or two, and then come back with some new insperation. as for not finishing pixels- thats normal, dont wory about it. ive got a folder of unfinished pixels that takes up nearly a gig. the best way to put clouds around your trees is to: -pixel the tree -keep your palette off to the side -make a new palette of grays that fade into browns and black (your bg) -shade in the thickest part of the fog a solid gray, and use the brownish gray tones to fade into the trees, and the blackish ones to fade into the sky. also, your dock is a bit to wide, i think it needs to be thinner, and not have as big of a slope.

the trick to digipainting is highlights. first, i recomend you use the brush tool. second, what you need to do is use a smaller brush (1-6 pixels is about right). shade everything in the way you would with a pixel (no ddither and everything, just shading), and then apply highlights and texturing. i have an old dragon from when i first digipainted (yes, suckie) that you can kinda see what i mean. ill edit this if i can find this.

Get off my drawings. ok, i dont know what your problem is, but you need to calm down. youve pretty much flamed everyone who has comented on your piece (even though you claim it not to be flame...) i give you a sugestion, and you say im mainstream. jokero points out you have to many colors, you pass the buck and say its not your fualt. b2d fixes teh colors, and you yell at him... just calm down. to tell the truth you seem to be a bit stressed out... please, just calm down a bit, and dont always assume people are always out to get you. (please do yourself a favor, and dont respond to this post)

if this is in the wrong forums, move it. im not a regular here (actually, ive never posted here before, or anywhere outside of the gallery/art bzaar for that matter) alrite, my laptops got a trojan, and i need help fixing it. accidentally downloaded a trojan off of some random website. its on my laptop. all i know about my laptop is its almost exactly like a windows xp (saying almost because im not sure what it is, and i dont want to look like a [developmentally delayed]d). kinda sucks because my antivirus wasnt working because i didnt refresh the payment quick enough, and it expired, and i cant get a new one, because if i try and get my dad to buy it, then he will see the virus thing, and then im screwed. anyway, i downloaded this thing, and in the middle of it, my (suckie) anti-spywhere- thing gives me this pop up saying i dowloaded a trojan. with my past experience with viruses (i usedto know how to get rid of em and stuff, but i dont know how to anymore, because people keep chainging the way they set them up >.<), i know they cant do much if your not on the computer, so i slammed down the top, and disabled its access from my rouder (the thing that gives you internet[because i cant spell it]). i dont want to open it up untill i know exactly what im doing, and how to kill it, because i dont have much intrest in screwing up my laptop. about the trojan: i know trojans steal information and can download viruses from the net without you knowing, and thats why i disabled its intenet access. i dont recall the name, and again, i dont want to turn my laptop on. all i know is its one of those ones that will download viruses without my concent, and again, id rather not try and deal with that. so basicly, if i sount like an idiot, ignore me, but if you can help me out, please, i really dont want to have to deal with my dad >.<

I agree so much its not even funny... everyone has thier own style... once they find it... as sue and godslayer have its pretty pointless to try and make them conformists to the system... good for you sue keep your style :D dithering isnt a style, its a tecneque... her saying she wont dither is like me saying i wont use aa. its not nessacary, but its stupid and pointless not to when your picture looks that much better if i did...

dont dither metal, it makes it look less metalic. the chain is cool. make sure you can get the old one back if you redoo it and don tlike it. i think the skin needs another midshade and less dither also. thats all for now. bye bye =)

prehaps dither the skin a bit? Why should I dither? I am forced to? Why should I use the pixel style everyone is using? I am allowed to use my own? Of course I am. I said I wasn't not into details at pixels. So I want it to stay like that, ok? Edit: No, it wasn't any flame at you or anything like that. I just don't like that, this, the Gallery, is just pixel, pixel, pixel that is only rated and loved here. Second edit: It was no flame to the pixelers :P :uhh: i wasnt trying to offend you or something. i was just trying to say that the transition between the shades on the skin are a bit ovious, and that just kinda stood out for me...

i know nothing about photography myself (and i call myself an artist #-o #-o ), but i do know that these are pretty sweet. coincidentally, last night when i got home, it was dark, and there was all this fog out, and there were these streetlamps on, no other light, and it made this really cool scene, and i wished i had a camra. feel free to ignore my idiotic babbeling, and just know, these are great photos. keep it up =)

good things- -one of the few times brushing fits -render fits well, and is blended well -great color choice. -i love the gray efect over the brushing -great flow in this sig. i think this relates to the great brushing. some bad things that you need to fix -work on your lighting a bit, try using some gradients set to low opacencies - depth, theres is some good depth here, but just not enough for me. -the text is crap. -make the border 1 or 2 pixels thicker, or dont use such a light color overall, very nice indeed. an improvement over your curent.

shading is nice. you should add some :thumbsup:

rofl... you saved the little one as jpg, and killed the quality, then enlarged it and saved it as png >.
