i imagine it wasnt nerfed, but rather jagex forgot to put a cooldown rate into the sub-program. while it now has the cool down rate, how much longer does it take now... it it like a high-alch? or a charge orb? (very slow)

basically, all that is new from the spell is the max hit, as we already know the combat lvl since forever... and the HP is already figured out by the skilled people of tipit...

personally i think the spell is cool and fun to mess around with, but seeing as how you want the other side of the argument.... here goes what about people who stake.... i've seen people on RSOF who say they are lvl 10 and are staking 10 mil. They obviously have a trick up their sleeve, and until now there was no way to check, as you must have a skill of at least 30 to be on the scores. In addition to the spy spell, i wonder when the rants about check book spell will surface. Granted, i dont have 96 mage, and haven't experimented with it, but i can see people being annoyed. Using staking for example, some people ask you to alch something before staking to prove that you wont barrage them to death the second it says fight. With the new spell you have the ability to "alch" something, then turn around and cast vengence and slam them for 30+ on the next hit. Yea, so thats the other side of the argument... how'd i do?

I dont think thats the problem at all... I do however think that the problem is that runescape isnt just one of those games you that anywhere u go with a free second of spare time that you should be playing it :wink: my comment about the kelogging was more or less directed to a post aprox 2 above me, about someone stating that they take security very seriously :shock: unless you have "friends" you cant trust, you shan't need to worry about the possibility of someone hacking your account unless of course your an idiot... then anything can happen... (going on shady rs websites)

many different computers. easily 15 to 20 what some people seem to not realize is that the average computer doesnt have keyloggers specifically designed to hack your runescape account, as many computers dont have any sort of keylogger... i hope everybody understands this

truely, it was the rag and bone man, but that was only because i didnt realize you have to complete the second part of the quest. I like to feel that is was MEP2 because it was the last quest i started. and it was the hardest (harder than RFD and DT)

god, why is everyone so negative.... its another aspect of the game, do it and have fun... i for one like these types of mini quests, it gives the game more of a dynamic feel, and i hope they come out with one for each of the towns! what should have happened was an overwhelming amount of different cities came out so that it seems like more of a bulky update with more suprises

+1 to all of the answers above, i feel that i may eventually quit after the updates stop, but in the meantime, id consider doing things like pking and other serious ever-changing aspects of the game

think of it like this... the autoers are catching loads of sharks, transfering them to their main account, and now they cant sell them. They have created a such an economy that they cant sell the stuff they illegally caught. eventually they will move to something else, and prices will jump back up again.... all in good time... my advice, if your not money hungry, keep your sharks or yews or ess** or whatever raw materials you have, and eventually they will go back up to "regular" prices **ess drop is not a result of an "above normal" amount of bots, but rather all of the rich players bought up all of the ess in attempt to dish them out after the blood alter was to be relaeased (the new chaos route). now they have some many and need to get rid of them, hence ess selling for 90gp

i tend to be down right sarcastic when i play sometimes... i cant recall any specific incidents, but im usually really mean.... people ask my lvl in certain skills when im training, and they just dont stop talking, so i give them really mean tones. I also tear apart people who make fun of a third person because they are newby... For instance, a lvl 75, a lvl 56 and a me (95 at the time) were playing pc... this lvl 75 was wearing monk robes and a steel scimmy... and the 56 was wearing decent rune, and a rune scimmy. I happened to be decked out to the best of my ability (g pl8, rune legs, glory ammy, Quest Cape, rune boots, whip and defender.) The 75 was calling a the 56 a noob, for whatever reason i do not know, its not my business... until i made it my business. I snapped back "how is he a noob when hes wearing full rune and you dont even have a rune scimmy." The 56 said "yea" and about 30 seconds of silence, i finally said, "yea, thats what i though". In the next game, several people commended me on sticking up for a player that was being picked on. After typing this over the course of about 20 minutes on and off, i have forgotten the subject of the thread :wall:

i believe that last weeks article covers this topic fairly well, the fact that macros are in the game, so many of them!!!, also plays an important role in the low price.... id really like to see some charts and graphs of the "key" items in the economy, namely BS, nats, sharks, lobs, yews, willows, and other raw materials and their recent price drop, or gain. I have also been thinking of ways to remove massive amounts of money from the economy. Ways like a J mod, creating phat sets secretly, and selling them. The economy wont notice a 10 or so more sets in the economy, and at the same time, the economy is being drained something like 10 billion gp. The J mod would delete the account, along with the money, thus removing a massive amount of money... ^many people will dissagree with this because of the fact that rares should not be created. This is also only an idea to remove money from the game.
