  1. We can only pray they wont lol. *Looks at sig*... hmm that goal looks eerily familiar :-k :-w Im more concerned about the fact of people not merchanting them anymore so less and less people will sell them, which mean I may not have a chance to buy one
  2. if i buy the blue d hides tan em crft into legs then alch em Bodies are the only thing you can really make it close to breaking even in. With the death of bots green d hide prices will rise so I suppose blue bodies are the best way to go. Until you can make blue bodies I would say you can either kill your own blue drags or make green bodies + alch to take a small loss.
  3. Break even with what exactly. What is your goal here? Best way to kill blues is with melee if those are your high stats or range if that is your high stat. Melee takes p pots and food. Range takes a Crystal bow or rune cbow with mith+ bolts.
  4. Bots never really affected me directly therefore there presence was unnoticed. Except for when I went to buy P ess and I had a lvl 3 trade me over 100k of it.. that was noticeable but only helped me out anyways.
  5. 10k-20k exp extra/hr is HUGE, that's like upgrading from a rune scim to a whip, I'd definetly consider an increase like that. Also, dust devils are no where near fire giants, you have to travel a whole 2 minimaps or so to get to them. Underline: Its more like going from a d long to a whip. Don't overestimate the power of a rune scimmy.. And 10-20k may be huge in the long run, but he only needs 9 levels so it will make a difference of a day. Meaning less chance of profit or breaking even with fires. They do drop rune arrows and scimmys... but they are not as common as you think. You can use probably 2-4 p pots (4 dosers) an hour at 57 prayer. It can take up to 2-3 hours for one rune scimmy drop. Plus with the "death" of pking rune arrows arn't the easiest or best thing to sell like they use to be in the past. Maybe with the new solo pking minigame they are releasing rune arrows will see a jump back up in price, but by then he could have 99 str... :-w. I may not have the best of luck but I have spent countless hours killing fire giants and with the 10k+ I have killed only ever gotten 1 dragon drop, which was a spear so I wouldn't count on one of those helping you out to much... Bold: The fire giants in the boxed in area are where you want to train at. They are hardly 2 minimaps away from dust devils... ----------- Also a man willing to give his opinion should be willing to realize his mistakes. I forgot dusties were not aggressive so by all means, as long as you don't touch them, they won't touch you  . However I still say stick with the Ape Atoll Monkies.. just all around more fun. IMO, plus they heal themselves a bit so getting that KO makes you feel that much better.
  6. 99 runecrafting in a week or two?? You must have the skill mistaken with fletching.. unless there is some crazy uber hax way that you know how to that no one else does and no ZMI won't get you up to 99 in a week or two, not even if you were at 97... :-w  -------- I don't know why people are saying farming is a hard one to get, it really takes nothing but logging in for 10 minutes every couple hours a day. It's like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just one of those things you do everyday but don't spend hours doing. -------- Im not "bashing" on you personally Captain just saying. I would of made the farming comment whether you posted about it or not.
  7. For ape atoll monkies, 2-3 super poisons would last you your entire trip. So the book would be absolutely useless in this situation. And training all attack styles (att, str and def) with this method would be fast and vary in exp per hour by a small amount probably by 5-15k an hour.. (im guessing) ----- I would rather not spend money on p pots by killing fires in the smoky well, especially if its only going to be like 10-20k exp an hour faster. Plus if you get hit by a dust devil you can say bye bye to your dharoks, they have been known to wander in the room from time to time, its rare but its a possibility.
  8. Here is a second opinion and guide to help. Note 80k exp/hour is the minimum. :-$
  9. Runecrafting, Slayer and Construction. Top 3 hands down.
  10. For str training you can get 200k'ish an hour training at the guard monkeys on ape atoll with dharoks and sup att/str pots. That's about as fast as it gets. There are other places to dharok and I'm pretty sure ape atoll is the best place since there is an alter there so no pray pots needed. At 150-200k exp an hour it should take no longer than a month max. It sounds like a lot but to have a 99 stat that you really wanted to get and got makes it worth it. You could train it with slayer and make some profit as well as get slayer levels but it would take a couple months for 99 str. If you don't wanna do slayer or dharok then experiments are decent. You can get 45-65k exp an hour there. Its not great but its better than nothin ------- I did 99 def at fire giants with guthans. It was long but that is because I didn't play more than 2 hours a day for 2-3 days a week.
  11. This sounds like a good idea to me. Do you have any idea how many drags a fully charged bow will kill? If not thats fine :P Completely dependent upon your range level. Which I do not know your at the moment... I dont click the sidebar for stats... But in all honesty I have absolutely no idea how many you would kill with a full bow... :-# ----- By the way avansies are losing their profit since there are so many people killing them now.. yea I said it. They are a waste of your hard time. Don't waste your c-bow charges. You could try hellhounds, but taking the chance of getting a couple of clues that will actually get you enough money to pay for the bow is a risk most arn't willing to take. Its understandable too, clues are annoying. ----- Blues would be your best bet I suppose. Use dueling rings and fally teleports to speed up the banking process (if killing in Taverly dungeon.) and use dueling rings and games necklaces to speed up banking (if killing in the basement of heroes guild) Just wear your best range gear and pray for the best, the rune drops and armor drops can also help pay as well as decent clue scroll rewards. Nickel and dime you way to the recharge cost and remember it will only get easier with time.
  12. Again a cape and ring won't give you any bonus' worth having. I mean I can make suggestions... Obby cape (320k'ish) Warrior/Zerker ring (upwards of 600k for warrior and 1m+ for a zerker) Nothing in that slot will help you any, at least not in your price range. A wealth is good, but if you are killing things that drop crap there really is no use in having one. Just suck it up and do the quests. When I became a member it was for everything but quests. I hated them as well, but they made the game easier for me so I kept doing them. So far I have 194 Q Points (kinda close to the cape eh?...) and that is only from doing quests that benefit me. So they are well worth it. Just suck it up, do the quests. Get it over with, and enjoy the game more when you have finished them.
  13. Don't waste your time with mage logs. They really are not all they are cracked up to be. Stick with yews. If you wish to break from yews and give mages a try then go for it but I wouldn't suggest staying to long as you would make more money with yews regardless. Trust me (im 94 wcin :-# )
  14. Again. Read the sticky thread, it should tell you how to post images... We can't spoon feed you. You have to go through the sticky and figure out the answer to your question. If you have trouble with that then ask a question... besides reading is fundamental.
  15. Stickies are your friend. Try reading the stickied threads at the top of the page. (Hint: click the word "Stickies" for the answer to your question)
  16. Okay simply put. If you are asking for a cape and ring under 300k why would you have to sell your dds and get money to afford a d long worth 100k?? That makes no sense... With the little money you do have a cape and ring are the least of your worries. Don't worry about them. They wont help anything. Better gloves would be RFD gloves, there are nothing better than what you are wearing now as most gloves that arn't from RFD are useless. By not doing quests you are limiting the amount of freedom and "power" you have in the game. I would suggest not being stubborn and maning up to do the quests. They are helpful and make the game more enjoyable once you open up new things.
  17. I'm lookin to buy a phat in february or march.. I pray there are still sellers when I finish my runecrafting. The way you are lookin at it is the same I am. I'm not lookin for profit on a phat jus lookin for a nice item that will always have a great look.
  18. Merchin barrows for about 5-7 hours a day I made 5-6m a day. It could still be profitable now if you know the right prices. . Its a great money maker while you still can...
  19. I would suggest a 99 combat while using slayer. Its 100% profit, minus weapon repair costs (if barrows) and pot/food costs. If your not gonna train a cmb stat then get 99 in the stat you most enjoy. It will be a more "rewarding" experience. I know I feel happy after workin so hard for 99 defence then having ppl compliment it.
  20. Pretty much just stick to slayer. No need to go to pest control to get your hp higher when you can do it traditionally by just meleeing and ranging.
  21. I'll break it down to the best of my knowledge for you. Hope this is helpful. Range Black dragon hide is your best bet. Ranger helm and snakeskin boots are the best for their price. Paying 6.5m for a ranger set that gives about +3 more range bonus is obserd. If you want to go monster killing, however, using karils is the best for the additional defence bonus. That's about it for range. Armadyl is rediculously priced and pretty much only for show.. Not for use. I mean noone that's not tryin to show their butt would wear full armadyl somewhere they have a chance to die and lose it.. Not worth it. Mage I would say get ahrims.. 1 the mage att + defence bonus' are better than mystic. Plus it looks a hell of a lot better than mystic. Its that simple for mage. ---------- As for prices. Armadyl is in the range of 40-50m for full... yea rediculous. Ahrims is about 1.5m for full no staff. (That was about a month and a half ago though) it may have gone up like a lot of the other barrows armors.. But its still not bad and the repair prices are dirt cheap at 70 smithing
  22. If you find a good teacher for dks, you will be pleasently surprised with the drops if you stick it out. One d axe and you will be hooked at dks :P I love using guthans at fire giants. But daggs are better exp (they are under the light house) Guthans is a slayers best friend. Always good for slayer. The only reason they said barrows was because you use guthans in the tunnels to heal yourself. At 106 combat you should have no problem at barrows. Ill warn you now, bandits will get boring. And no you dont have to move your character just have to wear something zammy or sara. Most people use either a sara/zammy cape or a sara/zammy piece of rune armor. I would say the cape is your best bet.
  23. I decided to record some nice hits I get just to impress myself (and others :P :anxious:) Hope ya like I know I do :-w Some nice hits   Got an ancient page!! first one. Some more chewed bones... 9 deaths from them worst trip so far. I got crushed for constant 13+'s... annoying to say the least :x
  24. Yes, yes you can m8. Its very easy. You can only really mage though. Hybriding would be a waste for you due to low range level. A few prayer levels wouldn't hurt but you should still do fine with 60.
  25. At the armor stand in any Players house. I don't believe the prices change with Bob in lumby :? . And yes if you are looking to get 85 slayer then buy guthans it will be the best options for you.
