  1. You gotta remember those lvl 40's/50's on youtube have done the fight caves numerous times. They are practically fight cave "pros" and there accounts were made specifically for gaining "popularity" or attention through the fight caves. Higher prayer and higher ranged (as said before) are always good. The shark is a good idea for quick healing but you WILL need more than 1 range pot so try to get a second. Also, I personally, would sub out the Karil skirt for a Verac skirt (for additional prayer bonus) Do NOT use vambs, use the best RFD gloves you can. ---- Other than that the #1 tip anyone can give you is don't be scared! As another side tip, make sure you pot up in the right order. I got caught with a few missed doses because I sup restored and then sara brewed or I used a range pot before I used a sup restore after using a brew
  2. Either use an elemental shield (from the Elemental Workshop quest) or you can use a Sara Holy Book (from Horror from the Deep quest) I personally prefer the sara book, I never remember to use the ele shield. :-#
  3. I'm not on a home PC, slow connection + distractions made my post later than intended. It still holds true however. My apologies for any inconvenience I may have caused it just happened
  4. That is pretty much the simplest way to calc it out. 3 hours per day at 1.2k ess per hour = 3600 ess per day. 3600 ess per day * 'x' (number of days) = total ess over that amount of days. Instead of using complex calcs to impress us or prove to yourself you're good at math or for whatever reason. Just use the simple calcs next time. And when you have 3 to 4 people telling you that you're wrong maybe you should go back and check your own calcs... :-w
  5. Honestly I think that the first time through the caves is the easiest. You only have first time jitters. If you die the first time, then the second time you go you think about all the things that can possibly go wrong as well as some jitters along thoughts of how to avoid dying the way you did the first time. I dunno it jusr makes sense to me to think that way. But don't give up!!! Just keep trying take it one try at a time, short term memory. Forget what happened the try before and concentrate really.
  6. I would say do some runecraftin. The price of nats won't fall below 250 each so that's pretty much a 125-130 gp profit per nat. You'd still need some rcin lvls before you can make the nats but its worth it. Maybe instead of rcin the nats you could use world 36 and run double nats through the abyss(if u can't access the abyss do the minigame) while you still can before the 3k trade limit is released. If you do enough you should be able to make quite a decent amount of money. --- If that isn't something you are into then you can always simply train slayer and save drops you get. You can rack up quite a bit of money in the higher slayer/combat levels. Plus high combat is always nice since you can later kill higher lvl monsters for rare drops.
  7. Fast, 99, Buyable and 1.3m don't go well in the same sentence... :-w The only buyable skill you would be able to even attempt 99 at with 1.3m would be fletching and thats only if you can manage to make profit or break even. The only way to do that would be making willow/maple longs (u) until 70 and selling them to the General Store. Stringing them will lose you money. Once you hit 70 make yew longs and string them then try trading them for supplies and a small bit of money. Like trade 1k yew long for 1k yew logs and 1k bow strings + 20k cash(maybe more IDK) This is what I did till 96. That is the only way to really make profit. Unless you sell the longs and rebuy the supplies cheaper. :-k
  8. Out of the 23 skills in the game only 9 of them are "Buyable" so instead of spending all your cash on one of them, you can train one that doesn't require constant gp per exp. Woodcutting, Fishing, Thieving and Hunting are among the fastest if you were looking for a faster one.
  9. Simple reason. Let's say there's a 10% disbalance limit, just like the GE. I want to buy 1 mil gold. Seller tells me to meet him and bring 10 mil gold with me. I do that. Then seller trades me 11 mil and I trade him 10 mil. I end up with the 1 mil I paid for. Yes, it requires me to have the original money, but also remember that the difference in trades is only 15 minutes. With 10% disbalance, I can double my original deposit in 7 trades, no matter whats the size. So if I have 100 million, it'd logically be wrong to let me RWT another 100 million in less than 2 hours of trading. Maybe not implementing this system at all would be better in the first place, but if you are determined to do so, you gotta use fixed numbers or its as good as nonexistent. Makes sense. Glad someone could finally explain it to me with a logical answer. Not just "shut up, they shouldnt do it at all!@#!@#@!!!!!"
  10. He will stay where he is. Think, metal drags. If you walk away he just uses distance attacks. I recommend watching a vid before you go ;p Yea videos are your friend. I watched at least 4-5 of jad and copied the prayer switching when it was needed on the video. Sounds like a joke, might sound lame, but it works to get you in the "mood" of prayer switching. As for luring I have no idea. I got mine before the recent updates where the NPC's didn't move diagonally. So Italy was #1. As for luring Jad I don't know if you have to :-# I could be wrong though.
  11. Try your darndest to get a wc cape :-w Other than that I really don't know. I am not good with outfits with high restrictions. :?
  12. Don't be scared :XD: But really though, just go into it like you are just enjoying yourself. When you get to Jad and the healers.. do NOT over heal. Meaning don't try to drink 2 doses of a pot before Jad can attack once. It will screw up your prayer switching and you can get Ko'ed. 1 dose of potion per Jad attack. Other than that not being scared is #1.
  13. I still don't understand why they just don't take a page from one of their updates that was actually useful (GE) and use percentages for trades and stakes. I mean no person buying gold is going to give something else to a RWT'er in return for gold. They gave their real money why would they give up something in the game after that.. :-k It just doesn't make sense to me.
  14. Gained 2 rcin lvls so far today. Also go started on mith dragon trips. Had 4 very very fun trips. On my first trip I got some chewed bones which led to a Sup def mix :-s Not the best but its better than nothing. See
  15. This is untrue. When I am killing miths they are standing right in front of me, no obstacles between me and it. Same happened with fire giants when its me standing in front of it. I would say if you are safe spotting with an obstacle between you and the NPC there is 100% chance of NOT picking up the bolt/dart/arrow/knife. If you are safe spotting without something between you (like you are) or standing next to the NPC the accumulator will pick up MOST of the item but NOT all.
  16. I would wait till you get 70+ range to kill them. To get to 70+ you can train at mossies or you can train at experiments/rock crabs. Use the bone bow and bone bolts Once you get 70 I would say use a rune cbow and mith bolts. I am at 88 range and even then bone bolts/bow takes a bit longer than you would expect. I was killing them slightly faster with mith (e) bolts.
  17. Experiments are far from crowded, if having to hop a few worlds to get a spot is over crowded than yes you are right. But I would gladly sacrifice a few minutes of world hopping for a few days to weeks worth of exp in the long run. :-w Additionally you only need 2 experiments within a small range of each other to train effectively, where as with rock crabs you are running around. Yes they are close together but still the running around and multi combat can lose valuable exp. Also, unless you have some lyres or can use the fairy rings, its faster to get to experiment/bank (if your training with pots) since you can tele to port p. I have trained on both for very long periods of time before and experiments have been better for me. Also, now with the death of wildy and staking less pures will be crowding both places so they shouldn't be hard to find good worlds
  18. Its only really effective at 100+ combat and in a stat that is 90+. Anything less is really just a waste of time. I would suggest slayer or experiments. I personally prefer experiments but thats just me. If you are a barrow pure, then I would suggest fire giants or daggs (under the lighthouse) with guthans.
  19. Experiments are the fastest way to 70 def hands down. Thats just my opinion though. I trained there from 70-80 and it took about 3 days then again from 98.5-99 and it took about 3-4 days. They are great exp to me. As for d bones. The price is 2k-2.4k each and they will only go higher. So I suggest you use a calc to get how many d bones it will take for you to go from 48-99 and multiply it by 2k and 2.4k to get the minimum and maximum prices for 99 prayer. (I would of done it for you but your name has to many spaces for me to be able to use a calc )
  20. This is my look without any clothes on. Lol as you can see I enjoy the elegant look :-w
  21. If you combine range in there with the cannon alot and mage in with metals, you can get 99 slayer without getting 99 in any combats. If you do more melee and train controlled than I believe you will max melees then hp then slayer. I am not an expert so I wouldnt know, just what I thinnk.
  22. This is my skilling outfit. Maybe you can take ideas from it. I think ele always looks good in skiller outfits.
  23. Don't think 85 slayer will be a walk in the park either :-# It took my friend well over 6 months for 85 slayer and he was starting out at a higher slayer level than you. Granted he didn't play 10+ hours a day but I don't think you will either when Christmas vacation is over. :-w Just remember its not going to be easy and it may get boring. Don't be afraid to train other things, but also don't forget what your goal is while training other stats.
  24. You dont need p pots to mage metals. Only anti-fire pots because you stand a step or 2 away from the drag so it is out of melee range. So there is no need to pray since your Anti fire pot and shield will make the drag hit 0's with its fire breath. If you are going for 99 att then I suggest just keep meleeing them in future tasks though.
