  1. Oh yea I forgot all about keris  ... That little dagger can max in the triple digits \ but only again Kalphites :-w I believe I heard of dh maxing in the 70's with 99 str and max str bonus (zerker ring, fury, dragon boots, barrow gloves, fire cape?) , super str potted, under 10 hp, and using piety.. but I am not sure this has been proven. I saw on a couple of Pking vids, that Armadyl GS maxed in the 50's or 60's with the special. Not sure of str lvls and str bonus'
  2. With that said you wont be hitting any 97's.. You will max at 50. Granted thats 20% or Jad's total hp. Dependent on his hp level will be your max hit. If I understand what the KB says correctly the max hit on Jad would be 50 if you have above 10% of your hp and Jad has full health. I could be wrong. Jad 250 hp = 50 Max -----200 hp = 40 Max etc etc etc, so for every 50 hp he loses your max drops by 10. Also, you won't his this Max everytime you shoot a bolt either and I would assume it is a more 'rare' occurance than with the Diamond Spec of Armor Piercing. It's for this reason that people use diamond and ruby when fighting things such as Mithril Drags, once they are below 50% hp, it is kind of pointless to use ruby since your max hit would be equal to a Diamond bolt anyways at around 20 ish. Now for the part where I admit, I was also wrong earlier. I was thinking of dragonstone bolts not diamon, I have seen them max in the 60's. It is my fault for trying to comment and watch range tank pking vids at the same time :-# . My apologies : I would assume that diamond max at about 20 ish, just a round about guess lol.
  3. I'd have to say rock crabs or experiments. Thats "old school" though, alot of people recently dont like training there because of its popularity. There are massive amounts of people at rock crabs but there arn't as many as you think at experiments. If not then hill giants or mossies are probably a good option to train on :)
  4. Build oak larders until you can make Oak doors then make those. I believe that is the fastest method I have heard of. Although construction isnt the cheapest skill to train :? . It will be quite expensive dependent on your starting con level. You can use other peoples houses. In an effort to save money, you can look on the RSOF, people usually open their houses to let others use their guilded alters. It will take a little more time but I think it will be well worth it to save yourself millions of gp's.
  5. ruby bolts will only take away 7-8 hp, i could just take a brew to replace that. And diamond hit 8-10 hp more than ruby, which will speed up the process and you will use less supplies, thus saving you money.
  6. I'd say use diamnod bolts, since ruby ones take away your hp.This is only if you are using enchanted bolts though.. which I don't see why you wouldn't. It'd kinda be a waste to use gem tipped bolts without enchanting them :? I always advise against using guthans since I got mine with verec skirt and helm and a karil top and 2 cbows.

Quests give heck of a bonus.. Animal magnetism quest is a great one to have completed for any ranger goals. I, in-fact, believe Jagex created the Accumulator for this specific purpose. To many people complaining about getting their arrows "stolen"... so they made a solution. Stop complaining, and take action. Only lazy people complain about things they CAN control. =; Sorry to be blunt but its the truth.
  8. You don't have to take parts out of your video for youtube, just split it into 2 parts.. or can you?? :-k
  9. I don't believe that this is true I remember hearing that something worked up to level 30.. I thought RoL was it.. :?
  10. After reading the new Development Diary on summoning. You can kind of forget about saving money to "burn" on Summoning. It's looking like its not going to be "buyable" soo you can either make a huge pile of cash or train something that takes more time than you usually would have.. meaning don't waste your free vacation time on "fast" skills such as cooking and fletching.
  11. If I am not mistaken level 20 is just for teleporting. You cannot tele once you pass into 21+ wild. The RoL works up to level 30 though. But if you run into pkers, at least half decent ones, your RoL is useless as they WILL KO you.. :uhh:
  12. [hide=Long Quote- Celestrana] Wow, that's a good price! Then again, I'm only starting to catch Red Chinchompas and I don't even know their price before the Grand Exchange was released. Plus, I'm planning on keeping all my Red Chinchompas for Range and Slayer training. I need a more consistent source of range ammo instead of relying on Cyclopes dropping black throwing knives. Dont use red chins for slayer, sell them to buy some arrows or knives. Seconded. It will be a waste of your hard earned chins. ----------------------------------------------------- As for the topic poster. It would be nice if you just went to GE and did a slight price check yourself. It's kind of hard for anyone, who hasn't checked in the past 10 mins, to be exactly sure of a price especially since they are "ever changing".. Selling Red Chins on GE eh? Would it be reasonable to buy mithril bars on GE so that I can make them into knives? I find mining incredible boring and smelting tiresome, even though I want to level up my smithing. [/hide] It depends on what you want. If you want smithing exp then buy the bars and make into mith bolts add feathers and resell. That way you lose little to no money (I think its possible to make a profit im not sure though) if you want ranged exp then I would just suggest buying iron knives or bone bolts + bow. I am using bone at fires now till 90 range(87 now). Its good exp
  13. Yes I reinstalled Firefox yesterday before I restored my comp. But I didn't touch anything. How could these settings have changed if I didn't touch nothing?
  14. Why hamstring your account?. Because its relevant to the topic of discussion. If we were talking about cooking tunas till 99 cooking then I'd be advertising my account. Why try to put down and reduce other peoples feeling of satisfaction for your own personal "gain"?? Does it make you feel like a "big man"? Why does it even matter to you? Someone has their panties in a bunch.. Either way you will get over it, and so will the world, as it's not important.
  15. Lol I love your blog set up.. Not bad skills either, especially for a F2P nooby!!! :P JK JK.. Ill cya around in the bloggeh chat
  16. That was going to be my whole arguement. Sure you can make enough money in the 6 hours for what a couple hundred or even thousand b2p tabs. What you are forgetting is that 6 hours earns you a "life-time" of casts for "free"(or at least relatively cheap cost). Also, a mud staff... yeah, he is your friend.
  17. In your attempt to dignify your "debate" you have in-fact contradicted what you are so whole heartedly agreeing with. I, personally, find your statement very offensive as it pertains to a certain race, even if not intended in that manner it sure did come off that way. :shame: ----------------------------- As for the censor debate, I really have no comment on it. I agree it should be kept to a certain extent because I would really hate to see random people bellowing curse words just because they can. Especially the ever so popular "N-Word" that many 11 year olds like to call others due to a lack of information and maturity. A slight decrease in the sensitivity would be satisfactory for me though, I mean it would be nice to say "GL" (Good Luck) to a friend,in a sentence, without seeing more asterics than letters.
  18. Well now getting a Armadyl hilt is looking more useful to me lol. Thats pretty hawt. Why all the lvl 98's though lol, that bugs me!! well only the herby and crafting (oh i want the crafting lol) --------------------------------------- Well instead of spending the 3m it would take for you to get the required level, hypothetically speaking, you can use a stat booster to build whatever item you wanted, without spending the 3m for the level.
  19. Wow, that's a good price! Then again, I'm only starting to catch Red Chinchompas and I don't even know their price before the Grand Exchange was released. 20. Make as much money you can through christmas break and burn it on summoning in January  If that is unappealing to you, then I would suggest doing something that would normally take you "ages" to complete. Maybe do some major questing or combat skilling (maxed combats are always hawt) Either power level or train it with slayer. But be prepared, if you power-level your combat without slayer, people of your combat level will crack jokes on you  due to your lower than "average" slayer level. Not that it matters, but I am sure it will get quite annoying, I'm sure. That way when you're back to your "routine" and less hours of play, you can do 99 cooking since its a relatively quick and painless skill to get out of the way
  21. At 59 runecrafting, I could do 1.8k per hour. I'd give you about fifty hours to do 105k, and yes, it's completely worth it, especially through the Abyss. you don't burn out easily in there, as it's actually enjoyable and varying. All those who gave you 900-1.3k per hour aren't very fast runecrafters. And btw, the fairy rings are really crappy. They're wayyy slower, and wayyy more boring. Mind giving us a method with your madness?? :-k If I can do near 2k nats per trip, hell I will start runecrafting tomorrow and it is the only stat that bores me to the core :boohoo:
  22. Correction, in this case Bone bow + Bolts are your friend. Trust me get all the use out of this cheap range exp before they "nerf" it. Fire giants in the Waterfall are your best bet IMO. I am 87 now and they are still relatively good exp. I plan on staying here till 90, then heading to PC. The rune arrows and alchable drops and runes make you a nice profit. (I only keep ranarr herbs to prevent continuous banking) ------------------------------------ If you do NOT like fires, you can try hellhounds. I am unsure of the exp per hour but I presume its not bad. Also they will drop a level 3 clue which you could do for a break from ranging :
  23. Im pretty sure it is Underground Pass, Regicide and Roving Elves (along with pre-reqs) to access Llyeta. Roving elves being the main one.
  24. [hide=Long Quote] Honestly, ZMI is your best bet for speed to 75, plus you will still make a nice lump of cash from the runes you get. At 75 if you want pure cash, then do cosmics. Its been calculated to earn you a little over 600k per hour :-$ Personally I haven't had much luck selling off my 12K Cosmic runes on the Grand Exchange but I had no problem selling off 4K Law runes. As mentioned before, you can runecraft Nature runes using the Fairy Rings; there's the somewhat long and painful way and the quick and almost as fast as the Abyss way. Long and painful: - Start at Zanaris bank (Lost City, Fairy City/Dimension) - Load up on essence, using all available pouches - Run to Fairy Rings and code in C-K-R. - Run through Jungle to Nature altar - Runecraft all essence, including pouches - Exit Nature altar - Run to Fairy Rings - Run to Zanaris bank - Repeat Almost as Fast as the Abyss Way: - Start at Edgeville bank - Load up on essence, using all available pouches - Run north over bridge and south to Fairy Rings - Use Zanaris Fairy Rings and code in C-K-R - Run through Jungle to Nature altar - Runecraft all essence, including pouches - Glory teleport to Edgeville - Repeat [/hide] How much are you trying to sell your cosmics for?? I bought all mine for 150 ea.. I bought 37k of them for 94 mage. They are very easy to sell at that price and seeing as you are making double cosmics per ess they seem to be nearly quadruple the price of one p ess. You figure: 80 per ess (70-75 if your patient) on the forums 150 per cosmic x2 (double cosmics) Thats around what? 300 / 80 = 3.75 times more profit per ess crafted. Here are some calcs if your an extremely patient person. 70 ea per ess (forums) 180 ea per cosmic (forums) x2 360 / 70 = 5.14 times more profit per ess crafted ----------------------------------------------- Just some random stuff I realized =D> Woopty doo for me! :P
  25. Lol its funny because this is the kind of account I have with my main  91 att (will be 99) 80 str 99 def Lol, nice acct. I think I will be one of the few 119's in the game with maxed combats but 80 str :ohnoes:
