  1. Well for the past 3 days or so (maybe 4) I have been unable to connect to the internet via FireFox or IE7... SS works just fine and my interenet connection is also just 'dandy'. The only thing not working is my browsers, they are not connecting to the internet. I am now online with SwiftSwitches browser, SwiftBrowse, and it works fine too but its a bother to me not having the tabs that I grew so accustomed to. Here are some pics of what the browsers say: Mozilla FireFox: FireFox doesn't even seem to be loading up now -.- Internet Explorer: -------------------------------------------------- My last resort is finding another browser. -------------------------------------------------- Things I have attempted: 1- Restarting my internet connection 2- Restarting my computer 3- Unplugging all my internet cords, restarting my comp and then re-wiring the internet and my comp 4- Restoring my computer to a previous date when the browsers worked properly None of the above worked. I am running Vista if it matters and I am not a computer wiz, or even half-wiz I know how to get what I want but specs is something I have no idea about. All I can say is its a Gateway Labtop. Any help is much appreciated.
  2. Honestly, ZMI is your best bet for speed to 75, plus you will still make a nice lump of cash from the runes you get. At 75 if you want pure cash, then do cosmics. Its been calculated to earn you a little over 600k per hour :-$
  3. When using addy bolts the hides alone will pay for them soo you'd be just fine with them. At 81 I went there and used emmy (e) bolts and got a kill every 2-3 mins.
  4. Woodcut willows from 30-99 at Barb outpost... screw teaks the thought of dropping 28 logs every 1-2 mins should dissway you from wanting to do them too. It is what 10k exp an hour faster? I dunno how much money you can make in an hour but the way I see it is the time you didn't spend getting finger cramps will help you later in life. As for fishing I prefer Monks, they are at the only place you can fish them at, the name slips my mind ATM. Fly fishing is faster, or so I hear, but I believe you have to drop or bank those fish.. again dropping them is sickening and to bank useless fish, kinda seems useless to me. At least monks will make you a couple million while gettin 99.
  5. This will save you quite a bit of money dependent on what slayer level you are hoping to get.. In the short term it shouldnt matter too much but if you plan on doing slayer for awhile then it will be quite costly. I would suggest wearing non-degradable armor, like Pure said. Personally I wear rune plate, d skirt and black mask. It's just as nice as wearing full guthans, I mean some of the def bonuses are lacking but it is cheaper and saves me money in the long run. You can sub the rune plate with a torso (most people do) but its advised again getting d legs as they DONT give a better def bonus than d skirt (they are the same) and the skirt is near 1/3 of the price of d legs.
  6. Its the question of defense bonus vs. Att bonus.. Like if your fighting some fire giants or something that maxes at 10+ you might want to take a DFS to reduce the amount of time spent using guthans. However if you feel like your defence is good enough and would prefer to kill them faster then a defender is your "shield" of choice. That's pretty much what I do to determine if I want to use certain NPCs. DFS for defence and Defender for attack.
  7. Your small list + his list. Monkey Madness Animal Magnetism The Fremmenik Trials Lost City Recipe for Disaster Desert Treasure The Fremmenik Isles Biohazard (ardy tele) The Watchtower (Watchtower tele) Edgars Ruse (Trollheim tele) Fairy Tale Part 1 and start part 2 (fairy rings) Regicide (d hally) Horror from the Deep Lunar Diplomacy Dream Mentor --------------------------------------------- Pretty much any quest that gives you access to a new area or can teleport you to a place you can't normally tele to.
  8. too low still, ogres / moss giants are best Seconded. Actually from 56-60 kill hill giants or ogres Then from 60-70 do mossies. Then from 70-whatever do fire giants.
  9. Do bandos with a group of 3 other friends.. if you get a hilt its about 8m a person... that would put you above 10m. IF you didn't blow it all on supplies.
  10. I have wondered this as well, does anyone know how to make them skull?? or if it's even possible??
  11. I found that you can make quite an alright profit if you mine your own essence and craft your own nats.. Yea thats right get em yourself. Personally for 99 mage and crafting I will have to make 36k ish Dhides which isn't enough alchs for 99 mage so in order to keep making a profit from crafting and getting 99 mage I will be running double natures using the W36 nat company. It will take a bit longer(bout a month or so) but in the end I should come out with a nice mound of cash and ]a lot[(to say the least) of crafting experience. :-w BTW, use forums and GE (if the price at ge is 1.5kea) to buy your green d hides. My friend was buying them for 1.45k last week from forums so 1.5 shouldn't be too difficult. ------------------------------------------- Anyways m8, Best of luck to you
  12. Firstly DO NOT string maple bows... its a waste of a bow string. With that said I have no idea if I answered your question but yea, dont string anything under yew. Secondly, I believe there is a calc on RS Bits & Bytes that calcs bows needed by cutting, stringing or both. If you dont know what RSB&B is, then google it use the name I gave above its the first link if I am not mistaken. Its always good to Bookmark the better fansites  BTW sentence spacing is your friend. It's very Very VERY hard to understand what you need help with if you jumble it all into one paragraph.
  13. At 60, do Moss Giants till 70. You get herb seeds and other alchable drops. As well as the big bones for prayer exp. There are mossies located in Varrock Sewers all the way at the end. If you want to get there faster, you can use the agility shortcut in Edgeville dungeon(51 Agilitty required) If you think that will take to long to bank (if you don't have 51 agil) Then there are a group of Mossies, north of Ardy. There are less people killing them in the Sewers, but its easier to get to the ones north of Ardy, IF you DONT have 51 agil I would suggest using the ones near Ardy. Once you hit 70, I advise you do the 'Waterfall Quest' as well as any pre-requisites it may have and then kill fire giants until you are at any range level desired.
  14. If you are a member, buy dueling rings and regular essence and have your way with making fires. -Tele to 'Al Kharid Duel Arena' -Run out the gate and north till you get to the alter -Craft your fires -Tele to 'Castle Wars' -Repeat until 44 With the time saved you will be able to make back the money you lose with this method. I believe it is the most commonly used method to get 44 runecrafting, I may be wrong but I am sure it is.
  15. The only "buyable" f2p skill that will help you in the future would be smithing. Thats if you plan on staying F2P. Mining is a great "non-buyable" to have as well. If you plan to become a member anytime in the future, then personally I would have to say crafting would help you out in P2P. Being able to make Glories and Onyx items can lead to some cash. :)
  16. Break after Summoning is release?!?! Great idea lol Im sure everyone will be doing that. Slayer to 85, even better idea, always good to have, long to get tho, unless you have money for "faster" methods. What the heck is SS?? I thought you meant SwiftSwitch :XD: I'd say Dharoking on Ape Atoll is a nice change from using a D-Long/Scimmy... I will be using that to train my attack :
  17. Ill try it again [hide=Working?]test...?[/hide] hmm it did work, that wierd, maybe its something wrong with my comp at home...
  18. Okay I can make things hide I know how to do that [hide]See!!![/hide] I have tried everything to make a title instead of the "Click to reveal the hidden message (may contain spoilers)" I have tried [hide=Title], [hide"Title"] and both together [hide=Title] None of them work and it is begining to piss me off, pardon the language but it is quite annoying. BTW when I hide things I highlight them then click the hide button, does that make a difference :-s
  19. Its at the very bottom of the RS main page. Entitled "Summoning Part 1: Concept" [hide=Here is a taste of its contents]Summoning: Part 1 - Concept Yes, you read that right ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Summoning is coming! It's a big deal for everyone, so to whet your appetites, we're releasing four, count 'em, four mini Development Diaries in the run up to its January 2008 release. We'll be focusing on the work that goes into developing a new skill for RuneScape, so there won't be too many spoilers about the actual skill itself. Everything in these diaries is only scratching the surface ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ we don't want to give it all away before it comes out! There will, however, be some interesting titbits of information, which should give everyone plenty to discuss on the Forums...[/hide] Now stop being lazy and go there and read the rest for yourself, its not that hard to DO things for yourself, try being independent. Getting spoon fed won't happen for the rest of your lives.
  20. I did the same =D> I love looking at my defence cape and getting compliments on it makes it that much more worthwile. Take his suggestion get your first 99 in whatever your favorite stat is. It'll be more 'rewarding' in a sense :
  21. Okay m8, sorry it took me so long to answer, but I will do so to the best of my knowledge : Firstly, the cannon, it will increase the speed of cannanable tasks greatly, daggonaths will be like shooting fish in a barrel. Of course you already know this. Secondly, since there is only 8 or 9 tasks that you cannon(at least affectivly), you WON'T entirely be wasting or losing money since you can collect some money inbetween those cannonable tasks and also during them. Some info on the cannon you might have not known: Cannon Info (Taken from Zarfot's Guide) I cant get this into the title of my hidden section -.- [hide] E. Cannon I use it on Ankous, Black Demons, Brine Rats, Dagannoths, Fire Giants, Hellhounds, Kalphites, Suqahs, and Warped Tortoises. I purchase all my cannonballs. Remember that cannons decay after 25 minutes, and you get the "almost decayed" message at 20 minutes. Pick up and place your cannon in the same spot to reset the decay time- do this every time you see the "almost decayed" message. Of course, sometimes you will accidently let your cannon decay. You can reclaim it for free from Nulodion at the Dwarven Mines entrance near Ice Mountain. To get there super fast, use Spellbook Swap and cast Lassar Teleport which puts you on Ice Mountain; or just run there from Edgeville but that's a bit slower. I find cannons useful as they hardly add any time but you get about 24k range xp and 12k slayer xp for 1k cannonballs, worth 200k. It only takes me on average 10 minutes to make 200k so basically a cannon is equivalent to 144k range xp and 72k slayer xp an hour (No, I don't actually get that. Probably my crazy math doesn't make sense to you, lol). As I find that very fast I consider the cannon worth it. If you only make 500k per hour, the cannon is still worth it because it will be approximately 72k range xp and 36k slayer xp per hour. At 300k per hour the cannon may be on the verge of not being worth it, but it just saves so much time and really, it is very easy to make over 300k per hour. [/hide] If you want to read this guide here is the Quick Find code on the RSOF: 22-23-291-47612875 ^ I would highly suggest reading this guide, it has made me want to trade slayer. --------------------------- In the end it comes down to your total profit per hour. If you make more than, I'll say 150-200k an hour then YES IT IS WORTH IT, DEFINATLY!
  22. Pretty hawt video. No Mage Bank Pk's tho :( .. But at least it wasn't Edge PKing... those videos are garbage (Some not all).. Is it hard to learn how to PK like that? I mean it must not be that much of a worry PKing with such a large group of clan mates around you or am I wrong?? I have tried a few PK things but I never get any dds' or D scimmys, I try my best though :anxious: . Anyways nice vid, I would love to see some T. Brute pks at Mage Bank... Lol, maybe try cleaning the whole MB out with your giant team. Now that would be a video to watch.
  23. Best information you have gotten on this thread. It is quite easy to make back 1.3m.. You can always try something small or not quite thought of to merchant. Like buying yew longs 600-610 ea and selling for 610-620 ea or buy willows in HIGH amounts at 11 ea and resell them at 15 ea... Mainly continue to use the forums m8, they are your friend still.
  24. hah, how many times you been there? I get pked everytime i enter, most times by lvl 125 or 126. You must have horrid luck then. The only time I have died there was from other people training agility there. If I were a Pker, I personally, would make a quick stop there to see if anyone was dumb enough to skull with a dds or better and then Barrage/Smite them for a free dds.. but I still never see any pkers. And usually if the person training agil there trys to attack you and can't kill you in 4 dds specs, they just give up and continue training agil -.- The reason for that I dunno :-s ... But I personally have been known to att people due to increased boredom, so just outta the blue I spec you then continue training agility... annoying little bugger I can be :XD:
  25. If 40k exp per hour is all you're lookin for then slayer is definatly an option. Granted it all depends on your tasks. So some hours you'll get less than 40k an hour and others you'll get over 40k. Same with the drops.. You will make most of your money off alching.. Unless you're really lucky with drops and get a vissage every other metal drag task. Believe it or not some people get that lucky  Personally I tried it all. Dusties, fire giants and daggonaths, all with guthans, bones 2 peaches for dusties of course... I make the most money with fires mainly off alching scimmys and selling the rune arrows. Daggs drop ]a lot[ of herby seeds but mostly rather lower level ones which are cheap. Dusties drop coins coins and more coins.. The other drops I got on occasion. Never a chain but quite a few rune arrows. I think fires with guthans is you're best bet if you DON'T wanna do slayer. Plus the people you meet there are really nice :
