  1. fixed Doubley fixed... last I checked it was 140 unlss they changed it. --------------------------------------------- Personally I would do willows till 99 woodcutting, the thought of dropping 30-40k+ of anything out of my inventory hurts my wrist and brain. As for powermining granite at the quarry... don't feed into the "lies" or misconceptions. When you hear that its 50-60k exp/hour that is the MAX possible to gain. You can get as little as 10k exp in an hour. Smithing, your question of how long will 200k gold bars take.. Well I'll try some calcs off the top of my head.. Lets say superheating takes you about 6-8 secs for the whole process (clicking the spell, clicking the ore and the animation) In total its what 27 bars an invent? So that's a total of 162-243 seconds(2.7-4 mins) roughly. Running back and forth between furnace and bank at port P would take roughly 5-7 minutes.(yeah I have heard about other places to smelt, Port P is the only one I have experience with) So you're looking at about double the time possibly a little less. I don't have access to a PC right now so this is gonna be long and maybe a bit off. ------------------------------- Agility and theiving are pretty much nailed on the head.
  2. Okay well first off I think you need to decide what you want more, good drops or good exp... a lot of people try to get the best of both worlds but the simple answer is, its hard to find.. Personally I'm an exp kinda guy. I would advise doing experiments or rock crabs with iron knives till 70. Then fire giants to whatever level you want after that. You won't start getting "good" drops till you can range harder things anyways.. So exp at lower levels would be more important. Just stick it out at the lower levels once you get higher you can start to get better drops and fast exp. Its one of those things ya gotta do.. :
  3. I was using my guthix staff yesterday, I was hitting 20's not very often and that was with the +15% Mage bonus prayer. I saw more 10-15's and anything over 15 was usually just a 16. So hitting a 20 for a KO would be simply just random. I'd suggest an obby maul with a little higher str. As for which god staff is the best, I like guthix, but I know of alot of people that use the sara one. So you could definatly try the sara staff. I just like guthix as my favorite god so I got his spell.
  4. Yes, as soon as you hit 99 in the second skill your first skill cape will trim itself automatically, and your second cape will be trimmed when you go buy it.
  5. Get a group of your highest leveled friends... 10+ would be fantastic and then head to the pits with food, some entangle runes, and some fire waves. Also melee weapons/armor. You and your friends team on the high levels first and its all downhill from there. Watch out tho, alot of low level pures with high range or mage like to camp by the high levels and blow their "man-ginas"... so they will try to kill you if you team the higher leveled people... I guess they think a 126 will "like" them better for doing that  Also, its pretty dam hard to find a empty world.. at least it was when me and my clanmates were messing around in the pits...
  6. In f2p its like 70% chance theirs 1 bot there... in p2p its kinda dead Yea edge in P2P is dead for the most part.. But if you want peace and quiet Gnome Stronghold is the way to go.
  7. yaks with bronze knives imo or mage short E: yaks yield around 35k exp / hour If your getting 35k exp an hour... you mine as well train at fire giants for the better drops. They give about 34k exp an hour with decent alchable drops for some profit. Personally I will do fires till 90 then PC till 99. If you can get into a good PC clan then it would be a great way to train at 90+ in any stat. (maybe not prayer :anxious: )
  8. Well i guess I'll just stick with alching then.. Unless, back to my original question, Onyx is faster.. Is enchanting Onyx at MTA faster than alching?? Also how would I go about enchanting there?? just pick up whatever shape I want and enchant it?
  9. It's like the "Making dragon arrows" of magic Can anyone go further into detail about this?? I already knew about the spell. I have all 3 books, I am wondering which is the best exp per gp kinda thing
  10. 31 con = no game room.. Hmm, would stringing these symbols be cheaper than alchin??? Can anyone confirm how to do this?
  11. Well I was wondering a few things, since I have been alching and taking a big loss for 94 mage, that enchant at MTA is not only cheaper but fasater experience than high alching. Here are the questions I have. 1. Is it actually faster exp?? 2. Are there any factors that make it faster exp?? (like having a full world, no ppl enchanting etc etc) 3. How would I go about doing it?? ----------------------- Note I am not asking HOW to enchant at MTA. So please unless there is a player made guide on fast mage exp at MTA don't point me in the direction of any Mage Training Arena guides on HOW to enchant there. Thanks. ------------------------ These are just a few things I was wondering.
  12. Yea I just made up a random number of exp. Thats why I said in parenthesis that the numbers were not real.
  13. I, personally, suggest you "burn" it on mage to 94. I'm on my phone now, so I can't check your stats but I still suggest gettin 94 or 96 mage. I came up on some money recently and I'm planning on taking a 10m loss alching yew longs till 94. Then again I'm planning on tanking at mage bank so 94 mage is more "important" to me than it may be to you. Also, if you get 96 you have access to an infinate amount of spells especually with Lunars and the 'Spellbook Swap' spell. Great for slayer.
  14. Red sallys are your best exp till you hit 80. Then chins is the way to go.. Also if you're really set on trying black sallys remember they are in wildy and people kill other people in wild for no reason even if they see no profit in it.. which means you ca lose some exp per hour by getting killed and having to set up again. I suggest to test out the exp per hour for chins and black sallys and even red sallys(if hunting level determines you having a better chance of catching something.) Spend 10 minutes at each spot and record exp the exp. Then multiply whatever exp you get at each place by 6 to represent an estimate of exp per hour. Also I suggest you wait till 85 or 90 hunting to try black sallys. For example:(these are not real numbers) Red chin exp at lvl 85 in 10 minutes = 35k exp 35k exp * 6 = 210k exp per hour. ___________________________ Hope I was helpfull
  15. My thread on the RSOF died out, but I did see a guy with my suggestion as a small part of his longer idea towards the clan chat. :anxious:
  16. Why bump?? you have all the information you need. And have it about 10 times. Nietz helm (zerkers and d meds, not as much bonus' as N) D skirt (cheaper than legs for the same bonus') Torso is great (if you can't get one, then rune pl8 is fine)
  17. Cursing is good if you want CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome).. I was planning on trying it out until I heard you couldn't autocast.. that definatly makes it out of the question in my mind. But if you can withstand the constant clicking, then by all means go right ahead and do it, because it's probably the most cost effective way for the exp you're going to get. If your not a fan of constant clicking, you can try fire bolting, wearing negative mage attack bonus armor it is the same thing as cursing only with autocasting.
  18. My friend is a member and he got to 90ish cooking in Edgeville before he started using the rogues den. I'd say edge is the best.
  19. :XD: :XD: lol :XD: :XD: ----------------------------------- OT: If they did infact drop noted bars, the influx of so many bars now on the market would make price drop drastically, assuming that people started to keep the bars and more people would start to kill metals for the bars as well as other drops. Honestly people that buy iron and coal to make steel bars might start to see a loss in profit. We all know what happens when people lose their main source of revenue :boohoo:
  20. Lol, 2 and a half years later this post was bumped from the dead to reveal phats going for 150-400m!! Oh emm geez0rz!!! :ohnoes: I just wish I was around when the bunny ears came out. If you have them I envy you.. Besides everyone knows there is only 1 guarenteed way to be able to afford a phat, and thats RC'in... Duh! #-o
  21. He said ones not ores lol. As in 2-4 rune defenders. and only 1k tokens to get, you're extremely lucky.. Took me upward of 2.5k tokens for all of them. And then another 500 tokens for another rune. ------------------------------------------ OT: I suggest the shield. Only use a zammy prayer book if your pking with cheap equipment or when ranging with a cbow or bone bow.. The +8 range bonus is the best for a shield slot, if I am not mistaken.
  22. Throughout reading the whole guide I was under the impression that the red drags were in wildy... lol Great guide m8, I can definatly see myself attempting this. =D> =D> =D>
  23. A friend broke it down to me, for them to implement the new bank, it would take a ridiculous amount of Bandwidth which would cost them more money to buy. So it seems relatively simple, they won't do it because it will cost them more money for something they deem irrelevant and unnecessary necessity to enjoy the game. Not that they couldn't afford to buy more bandwidth with all the members there are.
  24. 2 more supporters. I think its a good idea  Thanks for the support guys n gals.
