  1. Forgive me for questioning you, but what are you basing this on? I'm actually cutting Yews right now with a Dragon Axe, with 78 Woodcutting, and it's about 9-10 minutes per load. That's maybe 160 yews/hour, and that's with little-to-no competition, and using my own home-grown Yew in the Gnome Stronghold (as well as three others over there). Am I doing something wrong? Because everyone I"m cutting with is getting similar production...
  2. I think you're making a very common mistake, thinking you're making more money by doing something yourself, when you should actually be doing the thing that makes you the most money per hour. Lets say you craft Nature Runes and make 100K/hour. I have 75 WC and cut Yews, and cut 200 Yews/hour. At the end of that hour, you can go buy 200 Yews, and still have 40K left over. Who is actually saving more money? EDIT: But to answer your specific questions: 1) At 76 WC it took me 10 minutes to get a full load of Yews with a Dragon Axe. That was 170 Yews/hour. 2) P2P Tree Gnome Stronghold, without question. 3) I think it depends on your level. It makes a noticeable difference for me in the mid-70s cutting yews 4) See above.
  3. The air altar is much, much closer to a bank, and therefore it would be faster easier to craft air runes (despite the lower xp vs. minds). Plus, you can always sell 1/2 the airs you craft, and buy minds with the proceeds to get mage XP later on.
  4. I've never used that game in my PoH before. How does it work? I haven't seen a guide for it anywhere before...
  5. Yeah, sorry about that. Misread the question. It still won't be overly easy though. More than one load of lobbies will be required.
  6. Unstrung willow longbows. Or, if you've done Throne of Miscellania and Royal Trouble, you can get Maples for 40 gp each. In which case, set 10 workers to Maples, fletch unstrung Maple longs, and sell them to charter crewmembers in Catherby for 44 gp each. EDIT: I didn't string anything until I got to Yew longbows. At 200 GP for each bowstring, it just didn't make sense. And the carpal tunnel from all that clicking... There's plenty of that after you get to Yew longs.
  7. Lesser Demons are not pushovers, especially if you're level 56. They're level 82. I think you'll find that you'll go through your full inventory of lobbies, very, very quickly, and will have to refill that inventory many, many times before you advance 4 combat levels.
  8. According to what Jagex says publicly, Attack level (and bonuses) determine your ability to hit an opponent. Stength level (and bonuses) determines damage High attack does not at all increase your maximum damage, nor how often you will hit higher. High strength does not at all affect the frequency with which you hit an opponent.
  9. Now where did you get this? I'm not necessarily doubting you, but from what I read in the Knowledgebase:
  10. I noticed an improvement when I used it when cutting Yews, starting at level 76. Bought my Dragon Axe a few weeks ago for 3.0 mill, and it's increased in value by about 100-200K so far. At this point, I definitely don't mind having purcashed it. Of course, you really have to be careful when cutting. No AFK for extended periods.
  11. Barbarian Assault is generally done in worlds 2, 6, 9 and 100. I think it unlikely a new world will suddenly take off because of a post here.
  12. I would drink several doses till you got the full 19 point boost.

Flowers are one of those items that every now and again some individuals will see unusual value in walking around with black or white flowers. Or any flowers. As a result, sometimes folks will pay several thousand GPs for a flower. However, that's unusual, and there is no regular market for them. I rarely hear someone in game saying "buying flowers". Aside from completion of the "Throne of Miscellania" quest, they really don't have a practical in-game purpose. So if you're inquiring about trying to make money somehow with flowers, I don't think it's going to work out quite how you hope.

If you complete the "Legends" quest, you can buy them from a store in the Legends Guild. Aside from that, there was some quest I did where I got a handful. But the answer: get mithirl seeds from Legends Guild. Otherwise, you must buy from players in-game.
  15. You opted to teleblock instead of entangle. That's why you died. You were greedy, and thought he'd try to run instead of fight. The joke was on you. Entangle, vulnerability enfeeble, stun, earth blast, earth blast, entangle, earth blast (assuming you're using a staff of earth for the first four spells), etc. The higher level the spell, the more likely you are to splash. 2 spells HITTING doing 15 max are better than one spell HITTING doing 20 max (even with the charge, I'd argue).
  16. Red Chinchompas in Pest Control wil get you there insanely fast, and it'll be awfully fun too. EDIT: they got me from 64 to 83 Range without much effort. A bit more expensive than iron arrows or knives, but a lot cheaper than cannonballs.
  17. Or to put it in layman's terms... 200 xp/hour = 65K hours = 22+ years working on slayer 8 hours/day 99 slayer is ridiculously hard using melee, magic and range. It's inconceivable using rings of duelling, though. Theorheticaly possibly, but practically impossible.
  18. It takes a few tries, but it is strength dependent. Each time you fail, I think you lose a strength point for about 1 minute. It could be something like you have a percentage chance based upon your strength. In your case, you have a 1% chance each time. Doesn't bode well with 1 strength.
  19. The only thing about Lessers is, if they're hitting you and you're forced to fish and cook, that's time spent raising something other than defence. Catablepons in the stronghold of security are quite popular, dropping runes and noted, stackable items, so you don't need to bank. Some also drop trout for you to nibble on and re-boost your HP. I'm not F2P, so I don't train there, but that's what I hear from folks...
  20. I don't think Kamil himself was the hard part, but that whole leg of the quest, with the stat drains, the damage, etc. Somehow, Damis was easy for me. I just ran in and through, and ended up in a corner with just me and the fell shadowy spirit. But Ancient Magicks are about Bursts and Barrages, not Rushes or Blitzes. It's fun to wreak havoc on a crowd in Castle Wars with Ice Burst or Barrage. Plus, it's a great way to get mage XP in Pest Control.
  21. Fine cloth, used in the making of split-bark armor, costs anywhere from 6-10K per piece.
  22. To elaborate further, the reason you're carrying a prayer book is to boost your prayer level. The reason you're boosting your prayer level is probably because you're doing "Protect From Mage/Range/Melee" for extended periods. In which case, Sara's +8 to defense serves no purpose.
  23. You know, the resolution on that *.png is kinda low :anxious: I recommend you make a vid of going to pick up the shovel, and then walking from the house to the exact spot to dig. Oh, and add cool music. And star wipes. Lots of star wipes...
  24. She has to use each piece and get each piece repaired one at a time. Getting the body repaired doesn't repair the helm, skirt or weapon...
