Combat, alternative to experiments / rock crabs?
While Slayer is quite boring in the early going, mid and high-level slayer assignments are great for drops, and a lot of 'em are easy to kill. So do whatever your Slayer Master assigns to you.

buying money
That's usually how it works. If someone was too lazy to work for it once, they're probably burn through the ill-gotten gps fairly quickly. Since they're not used to working, and they got away with it, they're even more likely to buy gp's online again. With each purchase, they're risking getting caught. So eventually, those folks get caught. If not on the first purchase, one of the following purchases.

buying money
It really seems like you're fishing for information as to the likelihood of gettng away with buying gps online. I'm pretty sure most folks have been at least tempted at one point or another to do this. The bottom line is: Jagex is not going to give anyone, even it's player mods, the details as to how they catch real world trading: specifically, buying cash online. Some get caught, some don't. No one knows the percentage chance that you'll be caught, and Jagex has a vested interest in keeping their success rate secret. It's a really bad idea, and it's cheating. Is it worth risking your account? Because it's a zero-tolerance policy for violating that rule. You lose the account forever.

Is it worth it to get 75 wc?
At 75 WC, Yews aren't exactly fast either. Takes about 10 minutes per load (longer if I'm forced to share trees) WITH a Dragon Axe. I can't imagine how slow it is, at this level, with Magic Trees.

Obby Maul Vs Granite Maul
Obby Maul has a slightly higher attack advantage (+1) and strength bonus (+6). Granite Maul has a "Special Attack" (double attack around once per minute).

help please
I may be wrong, but I do not think one can use that door to get back to Crandor unless you've actually beaten Elvarg. You might be able to escape out that way without defeating our favorite F2P Green Dragon, but I do not think you can return that way (again, until Elvarg has been defeated).

Why do you hate Agility?
The title of this thread should be "Why do you LIKE Agility?" That is the answer most people would like to have. Agility is a never-ending series of clicking. You constantly have to pay attention to the screen, if you want to chat with someone, training stops. For better or for worse, if I have to spend several hundred hours repetively training something, I want the luxury of being able to set it for a minute or so, and then go read a forum or something. If all skills were like agility, and required that I pay attention to the screen 100% of the time and get carpal-tunnel in the process, I wouldn't have played Runescape for as long as I have. I would never have paid for membership, that's for sure, and would have quit long ago.

mort myre fungi
I find it much faster to not have to run all the way through the swamp to the grotto. It's got to be at least twice as fast recharging prayer at your house, and then tele'ing back to the Canafis pub.
-
mort myre fungi
If you have a Karyll teleport in your POH, you can: 1. Charge Prayer 2. Wear Monk's Robes, Proselyte Sallet, Holy Symbol 3. Equip Holy Book 4. Wield Blessed Sickle 5. Carry Druid's Pouch Go to the gate in Moritanyia, go through, and there are 2 or 3 spots not too bar to the south east where there are two logs and some branches. Cast bloom, gather, cast bloom gather, etc. Make sure you get the Mort Myre Stems, too. When you click on your Druid's Pouch, it will take Mort Myre Stems first. When you're full, bank at Canafis bank, withdraw house tele runes, pray at altar, tele back using Karyll portal.

help please
You need the planks and nails to fix the boat again (you did crash at Crandor, if you recall).

The Lair of Tarn Razorlor
Nice to hear, but a little map showing how to get to the boss, would be better.. :P I spent 2 hours there (with many others..) wandering around, but no boss. I can't even find the bleepin' temple...

The Lair of Tarn Razorlor
Good God, where the heck is it? I'm wandering around in the haunted mines...

Barbarian Assault - Is there a good guide for it?
I would like to supplement the advice above by adding: the Defender's role is to prevent Pennance Runners from escaping. Defenders still get points if the Runners are killed by a teammate using a cannon. So your primary goal should be: Let no Runner leave. The games are usually long. You don't need to kill the Runners on your first load or two of bait. I recommend spending the first two loads of Bait leaving piles of 6 bait (2 of each kind) in the area south of the trap/cannon, and east of the exit (as recommended above). However, you don't need to start baiting the trap (only the east trap) until the end of your second/beginning of your third load. You should spend the first two loads leaving enough piles around to prevent any runners from leaving. The Attackers and Healers will have their hands full during that time, so you're really in no rush whatsoever to get the Runners killed. And in the later rounds, be sure to revisit your original piles after the first 2 minutes or so. EDIT: I forgot to add: don't build any barriers, as it just slows the game down. Also as was recommended, after each round, take a look at the Advanced Breakdown of the score. If your fighter and healer partners are causing you to lose a lot of points, especially in the early easy rounds, get out and find a new team.

Ranging
You mean just like that post of yours? I provided advice earlier in the thread, and was pointing out that advice given by another poster was suspect, based on the fact he doesn't have any experience in P2P, yet saw fit to disparage those both with experience in P2P, and more experience in the skill itself. Why, yes exactly like what i posted  LOL. So if I had added "do you need any more help?" to the end of my posting, I would somehow provided the OP with significantly more information? I stand by my advice that listening to your buddy D_V_Devnull, who has limited experience Ranging, and no experience in P2P, is a bad idea for the OP. And that advice is more valuable and more on-topic than had I asked him "do you need any more help?".

How about we try to answer the questions posed by the OP, not the questions we'd wished he'd posed. So you're F2P with 59 Ranging, and you're telling P2P folks with over 80 range that they're giving bad advice as to where to do the best P2P range training? Now that, my friend, is rich. Hopefully the OP takes your advice with the appropriate grain of salt.

If you're going to use arrows, I would second the Ogres in King Lathas' training grounds. Awesome seed drops, lots of HP (so you can AFK and check forums back here ;-) ), big bones. Of course, Red Chinchompas in PC is the absolute best way to train range, but you said you didn't like PC...

Adult Players!!
Tip.it did a poll once, and found that 10% of tip.it'ers were 25 or older. If the same ratio holds true for Runescape as a whole, that would mean there are about 50,000 members, and about 100K F2Pers. However, I think that most adults who play are P2P, since they can probably afford the $5/month. As such, it could be up to 1/4 or 1/3rd of all members are 25 or older. Explains why P2P is a bit more tolerable, at least for me.

best place to cut reg logs?
We should probably just cut the log, fletch the shafts and sell them for him. Poor guy has already put in so much work already.
-
best place to cut reg logs?
Your best best is to cut logs, bring a knife with you, and make arrow shafts as you cut. Since shafts stack, you'll never have to bank. So it really doesn't matter where. That being said, in the southwest section of Draynor Manor is the best place that I've found.

Why members need f2pers
This is called creating a strawman argument. You're arguing against a position which only you have invented. No one says get rid of free-to-play. Or that they're freeloaders. What members will often say is: be happy with what you get. You get a cool online game for free. Granted, it's not perfect, but then again, you get what you pay for. We don't like to hear you whine about bank space and other limitations, when all you need to do is spend $5/month. Like everyone else, I started out on F2P. It's a great marketing concept.

Smithing - Affordable Way to 85?
I'm doing it by smelting iron bars and cannonballs, and smithing the smelted iron into knives or arrowheads.

would a santa be a good investment?
The price of Santa Hats has been on the decline for the past 3-4 months. So I'm not sure what you mean by "keep going up". And a friend bought one back when they were 28 mill. He swore up and down that the price of said Santas always, always go up. Well. You know. Except for now.
