Next why don't you try proving to me why Rune Defender is not worth the time to get, or how much it is worth :roll: These calculations only go so far, you don't know the intricacies of the game like JaGEX.

Yeah it is (during slayer), def doesn't matter, bunyip heals all my hp during slayer, and I slay endlessly so it IS worth the time and the additional bonus to max hit it gives. Your calculations are [cabbage], when you play RuneScape you investigate new updates for opportunities, so the people who were there when it came out weren't wasting time tbh, and how would they even know if the update was or wasn't worth going to do/investigate? They wouldn't because not all was known about it yet.

287 I train slayer for the simple fact that it is yet another skill; and I am a skiller. Why waste time camping at zombie monkeys when I can train slayer with my combat skills. Slayer is also a respectable, difficult skill (unlike combat 99s). There are a lot of 99 Slayers for the skill being so difficult but that is only because it is so fun for many people, it's just another way to prove your finesse in combat, and they love the variety. Slayer also gives great charms and good drops, especially if you have good luck (I get constant whips, almost every task, and sometimes 2 a task). The main point is...why waste time training just combat if you are going to want to get all your skills up anyway. Training combat skills only is just for people who want to max then go play Castle Wars, hunt bosses, or other minigames for fun, and just ignore slayer completely. Most skillers' top goal is to max total/get respectable 99 skills, which includes slayer. A lot of people in RuneScape are skillers.

I don't get why people can't see from others' points of view..... We have a 50 minute lunch in my school; mainly for school clubs and the fact that if it was 30 minutes there would be some people that don't get lunch cause the line is so big. We have a huge delay in between classes; and my school is chock full of time wasting that just makes the day too long (By 8:15 you must be in the first class, or you're late, and school ends at 3:30, and I usually get home at 4:00; people with extracurricular activities stay till pretty late). Maybe I'd enjoy school if we got straight to the point and got to go home early. Also; some people are just too damn lazy (partly me, but I still get things done :P ) so much that they hate school and the constant stress kills them.

One of the best slayer guides with pictures. I would say that no guide can beat Zarfot's on the RSOF though, he is an insane slayer an efficiency maniac. BTW, dfs is worth it to use on tasks where the monsters have very low defence such as dust devils and bloodvelds because you hit so often already. Slash bonus is what helps you hit in the first place. This is if you have a dfs, which isn't worth it IMO in the first place :lol:

Woke up for my first day of school in 16 days, feeling that time passes ridiculously fast even when I'm bored. Maybe this is just because I really don't like to go to school (nothing bad happens to me, I get pretty good grades, just dislike going). I talked to my friends and got their gamertags (got a 360 over the holiday break). Also listened to some VentMafia prank calls on my friends Itouch at lunch (hilarious stuff). He's going to give me the Vent info tommorow. My other friend also got me Futurama Season 4 box set for free (I asked him whether he wants anything from me cause I felt bad but he said it would DISGRACE him if I did). So I came home browsed TIF, watched two episodes of the futurama boxed set, then played halo 3 online for about 3 hours, then watched some American Dad Season 2 eps online, then I browsed the internet until now and I am going to sleep soon.

Crash Bandicoot/Spyro I loved to play those old games, and the first few of each on the PlayStation were great; but leave them be. If you want to experience this series just play the old and great games. Mario Party This just needs to be killed off or create the next game (Mario Party 9) on Wii while perfecting the gameplay from the other Mario Parties and suggestions from Mario Party fans on how it could be played. Lots of Characters, maps, minigames (great retro minigames should come back) and DLC...if possible. People in general should just stop making [cabbage]ty shovelware games and put some damn time and thought into it. I think this would be better for everyone.

The extra defence is amazing and versatile and creates uses in many places. Ex. Many slayer tasks (black demons w/bandos possibly if you have 99 def w/o pray, scabarites, and any other monsters that don't require the rune defender's attack bonuses because you already hit them so often already), GWD, Boss monsters in general, dueling, and other general uses. Well, first of all, dfs is NOT the best shield in game. In fact, it's the 3rd best shield in game, being the first the elysian shield (don't you dare to deny it, it's true and you all know it), and the second is the Divine shield, although ti will only work properly if you have a constant source of prayer, other wise dfs is the second. Dfs is only the best shield when fighting dragons, and i still dont know if the Elysian shield effect applies to the dragonbreath. And second, Elysian shield+ 99 defence+ full bandos = Virtually invulnerable. No arguments Well, DFS's extra defence bonuses would probably make it approximately equal in it's capability IMO (besides the fact that the Elysian only has a 70% chance to lower the damage inflicted (which just depends on luck and circumstances), while divine would probably consume a lot of prayer potions), and unless someone who is ridiculously rich decides to test this comparison for us then we don't know. It just depends on the circumstances; there is no "best" shield out of these 3 truly. Elysian and Divine shield are overpriced and the street price is above the 100m+ that is already put up for it in the Grand Exchange, which is ridiculous. I'm talking about a relatively nicely priced item for it's capabilities if you have the funds to properly support the purchase. Oh and Torag's Platebody and Platelegs have much more raw melee stab and slash, and slightly more crush defence than Bandos Chestplate and tassets. Bandos boots have the best defence in the game for boots but they are only slightly better (+1 or 2 in stab, slash, and crush) than dragon boots for a sacrifice of +4 str. PvP armour, such as Statius has much more defence but I'm not counting that since it only lasts 15 minutes/1 hour of equipment or combat time. Oh, and no one is virtually invulnerable. Not with the sort of weapons in the game today when vsing a person with fairly similar stats. Whip is fairly accurate on even the best defence armour in the game and Verac's makes good armour seem like a joke with it's special ability.
