Three Words: Better Answer Formula (Also known as B.A.F. and B.A.R.F. [better Answer Rediculous Formula]). It's some stupid formula we're supposed to use when answering questions: Restate the question, provide details, etc. Some kids have to use it in ALGEBRA! Q: What is 2x9x0x8x7x6x5x7x9x6x5x9? A: The answer to 2x9x0x8x7x6x5x7x9x6x5x9 is 0. (A bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point.) ~Rcty

To be honest, I wouldn't worry about it. If you get fired or treated badly by your boss after an interview because you have tatoos on your forearms, then I don't think I would want to be working for someone as stereotypical as your boss. Tatoos in general don't necessarily state what kind of person you are, I know really great people that have tatoos, but who cares about the tatoo? ~Rcty

Whenever I witnessed the option to "Shoo-Away" the dog, I can't say that "Animal Abuse" came to my mind. JaGeX was just trying to spice up the Varrock update to make it look more real by placing dogs in alleys, resembling what it would be like in big cities. However, I can say that the option to "Shoo-Away" the dog isn't really necessary, and may be pushing the "bringing the scenery to life" concept that they were trying to create. If JaGeX is getting a whole lot of serious responses to this addition, then I believe that JaGeX should just remove the feature and be done with it. ~Rcty

Well if you admit that you did have many offences, even if some were probably reported by Mod-Wannabes, then I don't exactly see where you have any room to complain. You said most of your offences were just swearing or "joking around", indicating that there may be others that could get you a lot of black marks. ~Rcty

I find it hard to believe that any update JaGeX brings us is laziness, honestly. For someone to actually realize this, to me, means that they were mad at JaGeX and looking for something to get mad at. We've heard them say it tons of times, JaGeX has written their own code that the game engine runs on, which is a huge task - and the tasks within that include finding the code to update, updating it, and testing it. JaGeX plans these updates months in advance, which can be proved by the Development Diaries. One showed how there's many looks of skeletons and how they made them - Would you call drawing and 3D generating 85+ designs of something lazy? And this was just one monster! Imagine a whole town! ~Rcty

At the moment, AllBogs (the calculator Crewbie) has adding the Dark Bow and Dragon Arrows/Darts to the Range Max Hit calculator on his to-do-list. (To-do-list meaning he'll get to it when and if he can - no promises.) I'm sure he'll stumble upon this topic. I'm not sure how they get the formulas for the Range Max Hit calculator, to be honest, but I know that it probably has a huge amount of work and research behind it. ~Rcty

As it has been stated multiple times, Tip.It will not host a dynamic signature service due to budget and server issues. But yes, I did notice that Draynor.Net went down. They hand a lot of fans, and if their signature database was killed, it's going to be very hard to recover. ~Rcty

04-Aug-07 Runecrafting + Clan Chat! Fellow RuneScapers, we bring you two brand-spankin'-new updates today that we're sure you'll enjoy! We have finally released Clan Chat, this handy feature will allow you to chat with your clan, and only your clan. To begin this, you must go to a portal in the Wilderness and keep using the portals until you are randomly teleported to Clan Island (which is shaped like a C). Once there, talk to a Concierge and as to book a room, which should be the name of your clan. You will then be given a pass key with your room password on it, and nobody can get into the room but those who know your pass key, which would be your clan! Once you're in the room (a 9x9 for your luxury), the public chat box will be all from your clan! We have also added an update to Runecrafting, which we are trying to balance out by making it slightly harder for Abyss runecrafters. A magical force has been added that now floats above the Wilderness Ditch, and it will block any person holding Rune Essence, Pure Essence, Talismans, Tiaras, or Runecraft Pouches from crossing! So what is there to do now? Tunnel! You will now need five buckets of water, for moistening the ground below you, a spade, for the actual digging, a Bullseye lantern, to see what you're doing, a tinderbox, to repeatedly light the lantern, five Magic logs, to light the lantern as it burns out a lot, and six Fishing explosives to blast through the thick layer of rock right under the ditch, and a fuse for lighting all of the Fishing explosives at once! The digging process will go like this: [*:71izhnmn]1. Dig a hole under the ditch on the side you begin on. [*:71izhnmn]2. Shovel all the dirt you threw everywhere into a nearby wheelbarrow and take it to the Barbarian Village dumb chute. [*:71izhnmn]3. Place Fishing explosives by the thick layer of rock under the ditch and then run the fuse by all of them. [*:71izhnmn]4. Light the fuse and run to the Edgeville bank within five seconds of the fuse ignition, otherwise you will die because of the high volume of flames. [*:71izhnmn]5. Use your shovel to tunnel straight up to the other side. [*:71izhnmn]6. Proceed normally. All of this leaves you a whole eight spaces for your runecrafting equipment. Enjoy! ~Rcty

This is a very large exception to this guide to not be reported to us prior to your post. Because of this, I find it fairly hard to believe. When I completed the quest, I fought them all in order as listed on the guide. However, there is a possibility of a glitch, so I cannot completely deny the accuracy of your correction. The thing is that there's not exactly a way to disprove or prove what information you have given us, and we do not post glitches in our guides. ~Rcty

Sure, JaGeX may use it a little bit to make people want to follow the rules for the chance to get a Player Moderator status, but honestly, I think Player Moderators help. It really does take a lot to become a Player Moderator, and JaGeX says that they investigate the full account before doing anything to try and get someone to become a Player Moderator. I can guarantee you that they don't just put on a blindfold, open a chart, get a pointer stick, slap the chart with the stick, open the blindfold, and say "We got one!"...Which is kind of what I took it like when I read the lead post. ~Rcty

This really smacked Departments of Transportations in the face. This is making the headlines the past two days of my local newspaper, and they've put 750+ bridges in need of upgrades on a list. It also showed a chart comparing how many states had potentially faulty bridges than others. By the way, I heard on national news that the death total was currently only five. :-s ~Rcty
