  9. Our local papers are rubbish :( Ive emailed the editor loads of times about stuff im doing for charity and rallys such as the Edinburgh trip but they dont seem to care. They'd rather write a 2 page article about Ethils 80th birthday than cover real issues that can make a difference. If they dont cover anything next time I email them I just wont bother trying again.

  17. Ive said this before about Terragen pieced but ill say it again. It looks totally fake. I have never seen mountains and cliffs like that ever. Its far to [bleep]ey with so many very steep tiny peaks which also are very smooth. this would not happen in real life. The shadow overcasting does ruin the front of the pice too but i guess its the only way of hiding the fake textures I think you should stop using terragen for the entire piece. Crack open photoshop and brush in some better textures. Its the imperfections that make things look more real. I think the clouds need work in PS too, Terragen always teems to make the sky a bit weird in my eyes
  18. Thanks your you input. I personally think that you are the "loser" in real life because your existence is reduced to mediocre flaming on a message board. As for the piece it does look a bit too water effect. Its not dark or dirty enough to be really grunge and im not sure what to think of the grey bars on the sides :-/ The colours are good and the right side is good but the left is a bit too bright shiney and happy. the text is nice but perhaps needs to be a bit bigger, its hard to make out exactly what it says and your nick isnt easy to remember at the best of times lol.
  19. http://www.python.org/ http://diveintopython.org/ Theres so many sites on google i could never list them all. search and ye shall find.
  20. Thanks for mentioning Friedrich Nietzsche Mad`. I was going to say about him myself but you beat me :) Nietzsche was philosopher from Germany who wrote about how christianitys emphasis on the afterlife makes its believers less able to cope with actual life on earth. He argued that the ideal human, the ÃÆÃâÃâ¦Ã¢â¬Åbermensch (superman), would be able to channel passions creatively instead of suppressing them. He has many great works out including The Gay Science which is where the quote "God is Dead" comes from and isnt meant to be literal. Its more of an observation than a declaration, it is Nietzsche's controversial way of saying that God has ceased to be a reckoning force in the people's lives, even if they don't recognize it. (corrected spellings to something remotely readable) Then its not gonna happen then is it... You wont find a free host to suit your needs. Its against every free hosts ToS to use it as storage space for distribution and you get a very tiny amound of bandwidth. Seome free hosts even cap the max filesize you can have to 2mb Web hosting and a domain will cost you about $5 a month. I dont think thats a lot of money, you can easily make that cleaning peoples cars or mowing lawns.
  24. Thats so amazing dude. Its something ive wanted to do for a long time. Ive been to the very north of Africa but never to the ones deeply affected by extreme poverty. I look forward to hearing all about it. Good luck :)
