I have to disagree with your cutting method...in my opinion, it's better to have your chisel in the bottom right corner and place the gem you want to cut just left of the chisel. This way, you can cut all gems of that type while moving your mouse across just two spaces instead of all over your inventory. When you're done with that type of gem, just switch it with another type and repeat.

In the shops, they go for 190-225 each (f2p locations are just south of varrock east bank and northwestern part of port sarim). Players will pay 250-300 gp each for them, so if you're looking to buy from players, expect to pay that much.

Unfortunately, teleportation is virtually useless when mining rune in f2p (your only hope is to log out) and if the red spiders do attack you (which doesn't happen all that often), you want to run to the other side of the rocks to avoid attack altogether so that you can log out the second a white dot appears on the minimap. Also, even if you have no valuable things, pkers tend to kill you just for fun, and if they see you mining, they will never wait for you to finish mining. They will attack you ASAP to make sure that you don't log. To answer the original question, I personally prefer dragonhide and five lobsters. If you get attacked, TURN ON PROTECT FROM MAGIC IMMEDIATELY! If you get hit with bind for the full duration, you're pretty much dead. Afterwards, run west to the ice giants (since nothing is attacking the pker, they should come under attack and therefore be unable to attack you for a while), then head south and try to log out. The lobsters are to help you make it to the giants :wink:

You stop mining the second your level goes back to 84 and a message appears in your chat box saying "You need to have 85 mining in order to mine this rock".

If you look on the map in the above post, you'll notice another silk stall just southwest of the one pointed out. I prefer that one because its not as crowded as the other one (because the spot you steal from is out in the open -.- ), though if there's two people thieving, you can time your clicks so that the other person always gets the guard/knight :P

Are you sure you have to wield the Magic Secateurs when planting and harvesting? I thought you only had to wield them when harvesting to net 10% more herbs. :? It kinda goes along with what's said in the next line about how farming bonus seems to help when you plant stuff. Did that make any sense? :?

You need to "use" the fungus with the nature stone and the used spell with the spirit stone (instead of dropping them on the stones like I did #-o ) Get the spirit to come out of the grotto, then stand on the faith stone and talk to him again. If it doesn't work, you probably haven't been blessed by Drezel yet :?

Buy it from the tzhaar gem shop (a bit south of the bank). You need to pay in tokkul, which you can get by selling stuff to the general store, killing tzhaar residents, and by doing the fight caves/pits.

Some pkers argue that for melee, the strength ammy is better than the power ammy. Otherwise, just change the boots and vambs like the others said and you should be set :) As for the question mark in your ranged setup, yes power ammy is the best. Accuracy ammy only offers attack bonuses, and even then, these bonuses are lower than the attack bonuses provided by the power ammy.

They're more like 15-20K. If you offer that much, you're sure to get the axe much quicker than if you were to offer 8K.

The NPC who sells them is located in the eastern end of fally park, just a little bit southwest of Wyson's house. FYI, Wyson is the guy who sells woad leaves :wink:

Bushes definitely don't need watering :wink:

There's also a general store just northwest of the village that sells antipoison. Be careful you don't run into any jungle spiders on the way :uhh:

I'm pretty sure you can use a mind bomb to get into the mage guild at your level. I'll gladly donate you one in exchange for all the monkfish you capture :P

Frankly, unless you can mine rune, you're pretty much gonna have to merchant to get a rare if you're f2p. If you want to have almost no risk merchanting, I suggest buying items from stores and then selling them in bulk for higher prices. The forum is your friend, even if you can't post :wink: Also, when you can, get the cheapest rare available. Generally, whenever there's a [bleep]e in the price of one small rare, the others increase as well, meaning that you'll have a bit of a buffer :)
