  1. My favorite is when I fend off a 3-1 against 3 100+ PvPers and a lvl 70 comes by when I'm low on health and gets a lucky hit on me, calling me a noob as I die. lol Classy.
  2. Tip.it has a very nice Fairy Ring map (http://tip.it/runescape/?page=fairy_ring_map.htm). Did you check that to see if there's a bank/tele spot closer?
  3. Eh, I don't agree here so much. Everyone should be limited to one monster at a time. If you're melee-ing, you can only have one monster (provided it's not a multicombat zone). Really the only thing that prevents it from happening is the fact that monsters cannot attack back if you're behind a rock or whatever. So because rangers (and mage, for that matter) have "safe spots", they get to attack as many as they want while melee lags behind? That doesn't seem fair. I think the answer is easier than a ten second wait, though: just don't allow people to attack more than one monster at a time. Actually, I think that we need less Jagex interference, not more. I feel that imposing further restrictions on the game does it a disservice and does not improve the game.
  4. I've never had a problem with either three combat styles, be that if I'm the guy or others are. I compete for monsters, if there aren't any available on that world then I hop. If I don't want to compete, I do something else and come back during less popular playing times. Besides, now you have nearly empty PvP monster hunting spots to use. Now worries. :D
  5. I don't think so. It seems that the meaning of life is like water. The tighter you clench it in your fist, the faster it squirts through your finger.
  6. There is no single answer to this question. There are as many different answers to this question as there have been human beings on this planet. For me personally, I don't project my expectations outward (e.g., will anyone know I was here after I'm gone), because validation through others is an empty cup. I look inward to who I am, and what defines me to me, and what will enrich my life through my experiences. You are who you think you are and who you live up to being. That is the reason for my existence. Anything else is simply a philosophy exercise.
  7. You were going to quit if you lost like 600k more? If I had to guess, and I do, I'd say that shielz was using ago old trick called sarcasm. #-o
  8. I trained range using iron knives in the Chaos Tunnels. Iron knives give you the best bang for your buck when training range.
  9. The easiest and cheapest thing to do is to train melee. Fishing + Cooking + Melee will get you drops (gp) as your melee stats increase. By fishing and cooking your own food, you keep training costs to a minimum. Start with those. It's a good "starting point". :)
  10. As far as quick money making scemes, I'm the worst person to give advice about that. But as far as skilling goes, focus on skill pairs. In RS, most of the skills have a companion (or two) that work well together to keep the "expense" down when training. Don't focus on one skill at a time, but two or three that compliment each other and keep the training cost low by using together (e.g. mining + smithing, fishing + cooking + melee (drops), runecrafting + magic (drops), Mining + crafting + magic (enchanting), etc.)
  11. My son absolutely loves Family guy, but I can't stand that show. Even the Simpsons are better.
  12. I've seen one other person with the same problem using FF3. viewtopic.php?f=45&t=760350 To my knowledge, he hasn't figured it out yet. Maybe work with him to resolve it for the both of you? Good luck! :)
  13. I'm unable to reproduce your problem, but here's a couple things to try/do. 1. Be sure that you're using the most current version of the Java Runtime Engine at Java.com. 2. If you're using AVG virus protection, I had problems with AVG web protect block RS from loading/running. 3. Try clearing your browser cache (temp files) (Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab -> Clear Now button) in case FF3 is using a corrupted cache. FF3 has had an issue with some plugins and how it uses the cache with them. Typically clearing your cache solves those type of problems. Good luck! :)

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. If black marks were just temporary and disposable, then they (black marks and the rules) wouldn't taken as seriously. It's similar to the current temporary muting compared to permanent muting. When someone I know gets a temp mute, they blow it off knowing that it'll be gone before too long. However, the threat of a perm mute holds a LOT more weight, and is not blown off as easily.

I get the impression that you (thread owner) didn't really read rule 13, or read it closely. Let me help you out by posting the relevant rules... "also must not post anyone's personal contact details (including your own) on our in-game chat or forums." "2. What do personal details include? Personal details are considered to include full name, email addresses, instant messenger screen names/contact details, telephone numbers, your home/school address or age."
  16. No, it doesnt make you a bad person. But your motives for doing this are very suspect. Why a report person if what they are doing doesnt directly affect you? Ive never reported anyone. Ive never found a good reason to. I dont think players should do Jagex's job and police a game that we/I pay to play.
  17. Congratz on the cape! And yeah, trip on a skill cape ALWAYS looks better to me. :P
  18. I've never had one single black mark and I've never reported anyone. lol I'm always amazed when someone gets a black mark. It's really easy NOT to. :P
  19. As far as pure effectiveness goes, I suggest full Range void (gained from PC), as it increases the damage you do, whereas the robin hat's +8 simply increases your chance of not hitting a zero.
  20. I'm wondering what this person did to make 2000M. :?
  21. As someone pointed out, having to take your character to a spot to park it seems unnecesary and possibly annoying to the point that few would use it. A better delivery method would be a setting that you can turn on and off from you player control panel. But I do like the security of the parking concept, as long as it's optional. I wouldn't want to be forced to enter in three different pin numbers every time that I log in, personally.
  22. I assumed that Jagex made it return to the bank to "balance" things out. They don't like to make things too easy. If you can just lend back and forth directly, then you can at will lend the same item back and forth between you and a friend, not having to leave where you're at. I would think that Jagex would think that is to "easy". lol "Always seek a balance in all things, Grasshopper." -Kung Fu (TV series)
  23. To the OP, do you also have a higher level main? It seems to me that if you got those stats in 2 weeks, even no-lifing it, you'd have to have previous experience to know all the short cuts and tricks. ;)
