One more thing. With the inclusion of the central american countries into Brazil, our population is now 558,030,000, and our gdp is just over 10 trillion USD. Since I consider the Brazilian Empire to be one country, rather than a lot of little countries, this makes us the richest, and most populated country in the world (Since China and India are out of the game I think), and the second largest landwise, I think Russia is still bigger. Also, for the next week, our population is a good 40 million higher with the inclusion of Venezuela. EDIT: @ Sere: For now, building a massive space ship is impossible. Building a small one is already hideously expensive, though we are working on designing signifigantly larger craft. And we aren't looking for any more partners for our space project at this time, though you are welcome to order and purchase one of our ships we are selling to the public.

I was doing it because I had already cleaned up my country(s), and Norway was all ready set pretty much. So we joined together and made a space program, which escalated into inter-stellar travel. Then everyone else decided to join in after we announced it. There's no real way for you to beat them either.

That's actually more accurate than you might think. Back in the earlier days, women would choice mates based on power and strength. That's still true today, to a point, but back then power and strength meant surviving, which it doesn't know. Crying shows sadness, which shows weakness over something, and thus shows your not as powerful. Atleast, that's how it was back in caveman times, presumably. It's just another one of societies unspoken rules. Why are girls expected to take care of the kids? Why are men "supposed" to be the one with a job in the family. It all goes back hundreds or more years, even if the original meaning holds almost no value in our society today.

You know, there isn't a cheat for infinite filters in real life. Player-> additem "IDF_gasmask01" 1 Player-> additem "gasmask_filter01" 9999 Player-> tgm Player-> tcl Now you have 9999 filters, are invincible and can fly. In morrowind, atleast.

Just saying, without spending about 15 years researching highly advance propulsion systems, those shuttles will take a few months to get to Mars, whereas my ships take under a day, or two days at most.

Of course some people are addicted to online gaming, some people are addicted to drugs, booze, sex, a sport, their job, gambling, whatever. But all of those things can be done safely in moderation, with the exception of some hard drugs. (And with gambling, I don't mean betting a lot of money only one time is moderation, I mean getting a lotto ticket every week is moderation)

A icbm traveling at mach 6 would still take roughly 1 and a half hours to reach australia, from russia. More than enough time to lock onto the missile, and destroy it by some means. On that topic, the South American National Missile Shield is now fully modernized with our new targetting systems. We also have a few mobile systems, mounted off of large boats that can serve as a movable missile shield, though they cover much less space then a full ground based system.

Iran. I believe Iran is planning to terraform Mars, and I don't think a single country can claim a planet as close as mars, so you could establish a colony there. Even without terraforming, a colony is possible. The ship can sustain the life of all the crew for atleast 20 years. Once every 20 years it needs a shipment of oxygen however, unless there is an excess of water.
-
The one I discovered, and probably have a colony on is 5.2 lightyears away, so yes. Mars is colonizable, and it is probably going to be terraformed eventually.

Not quite sure yet, haven't some planets capable of life been found? I still have a couple months to figure out. I think Iran discovered one. Brazil discovered one already, and should have a colony there, but we're waiting for communications back, as it takes a while for the messages to get to us. Iran might have discovered one, but it's 12 light years away or so, and me and norway are the only ones with the technology to reach it. Paul, the ship you're getting isn't capable of traveling outside of the solar system, but the ship can sustain life for all the people on board for a very long time, so you could colonize a planet or moon in our system. The only other planet capable of colonisation in our solar system is Mars. The Earth's moon is also another possibility. Does Brazil have the technology for creating large battleships for space? We do have the technology, it's not very complicated if you already have weapons capable of use in space (ie: missiles, railguns), and then the technology for building large ships. We could probably outfit one of our two ships that are still in the solar system with weapons for orbital bombardment, but we don't have plans to, unless it becomes necessary.

It should arrive in about 2 hours real time. Out of curiosity, where are you planning on colonizing?
-
Maybe try taking one country at a time. Or something smaller than you population/money wise. EDIT: Kenya alone has 4x your population... And all the others combined have 17x your population. You would be crushed, even if they don't, somehow, have as advance technology as somalia.
-
...Of course they have guns. And they all have armies.

Finland is untouched... He had claimed estonia, lithuania, and the other country in there who's name I forget. Unless you have more energy stores up in Malaysia there than in the entire observed universe, you won't be getting anywhere near 1000 db. The sun produces just enough energy for around 300 decibels. And Link And 125 db is a loud rock concert. The who once played for hours at like 130 db. How does Somalia plan to take over many countries that in total, have probably 4 times as many people as you, and have much larger armies in most cases. Even though Brazil controls a ton of countries, Brazil itself still has more people than all the others combined. And you can't just magically get countries instantly.

Mage actually has a good point. Plasma is pretty easily effected by magnets, and wouldn't be nearly as effective as conventional explosives. A MOAB would do far more damage than any plasma weapon. In fact, saying you're creating a plasma warhead is like saying you're creating a laser warhead. It doesn't exactly work that way.

Sure. Here are some basic things to know. All of Europe is at war pretty much, WWIII. 1 real life day=1 year in the game All real life alliances no longer exist. So no EU, NATO, etc. And try to be realistic. In other words, not inventing light speed travel and building a massive army in a year.
-
I follow the half age + 7 rule, goes by the eldest person. That actually works out to a two year difference for me, conveniently enough, atleast if I'm dating older guys.
-
They're still a sovereign country, with someone controlling them. I'd rather not start any real wars for now.

Brazil update: In light of the war in europe, the League of Central American Countries (all of central america plus columbia. Does not include mexico due to it being dead) has decided to join the Brazilian Empire for increased protection. We are also starting rebuilding efforts in mexico, and helping the few survivors to survive. We hope to restore most major cities to atleast basic livability within 5-10 years. So I claim the land of Mexico, even though most of it is a wasteland.
-
Um. You managed to raise 10 million troops and construct a missile shield within a year? In terms of ratios, that's the equivalent of me saying, based on how big UK's army was before the game, that i raised an army of 300 million troops in a year.
-
Impossible. If you ignore the time of strife with no leader, your population would be 60 million. And of that, 20 million is fit for military service, which means, of age, and in good strength. So that means that over half of your 18-30 year olds, plus some 40 year olds are in active military service. In otherwords, barely any food is produced, normal jobs are abandoned, and your country collapses into chaos. So no armies of 10 million if you only have 60 million people. Completely impossible.
-
It's still being built. It will be completed by August in game time, so about 14 hours real time. Just remember it is only capable of travel within the solar system.
-
Oh, I just remembered. Israel also controls Saudi Arabia.

Just a question, do Russian Exo suits have similar anti-tamper measures as the Iranian ones? Or if I found one on the battlefield somewhere, could I reverse engineer it?
