  1. Just a note, there are arctic regions, in the northern and southern areas. Mars overall is hotter on average than earth do the way it was terraformed ( I think) , but it is still pretty cold up past our colony. Just saying.
  2. Only if they either buy a ship, or actually research ships, since shuttles new players *might* have only hold a few people. So how about researching a ship takes at least 8 years?

    School

Better than my school, all we get is juice and $2.00 milk Better than my school, all we get is $2.00 milk and I'm lactose intolerant  I have to bring a water bottle lol. Better than my school, all we get is a sink with no cups. And I'm starting in two weeks. Supposedly junior years is the worst year for academics in highschool.
  4. One person I know is like that too. She updates her status on fb constantly and it's either lovey dovey, or hating him. It's hilarious, because she's the classic ditsy blond cheer leader. Heh.
  5. tf2: on orange x3, taking the fourth point and holding off their entire team alone, as a sniper. cod4: Winning ffa on shipyard with 0 deaths. Only an 8 player server, but still.
  6. I can tell you play spy. According to my stats, I'm tied time wise for spy and sniper. Would teleportation really be necessary if you could just stop time and go where ever you want? Sure I could, but who would want to walk all around the world. Plus I could basically fly with teleportation. Or do intense skydiving.
  7. I just remembered a funny story. I went to a concert last year, and I ended up with backstage passes due to the person I went to the show with knowing the band. At one point, I asked the frontman of the band what he thought about piracy. His answer was something like this. "You know, my label's made me do a few things in public about it being a plague for the business and whatnot.. But I can't say I don't do it in private"
  8. I can tell you play spy. According to my stats, I'm tied time wise for spy and sniper.
  9. I forget if I mentioned it earlier, but for the past few years we've been working on R&D for USRD (unmanned satellite repair drone). Basically, we've created a few hundred of these, they're fairly cheap. They're little drones, about the size of a person, that have a little propulsion system, and they basically fly around in Earth's orbit and repair and if necessary, upgrade any satellites that need repairing. Since I have a ton of satellites in orbit, this saves me a lot of money and time. They can also go into a free floating state till their solar batteries are charged, and they can dock at one of my three production space stations. I posted a bit back, Argentina joined the brazilian empire of it's own accord, we expect all former-SAR states to follow within the next 5 years.
  10. 1: The ability to be able to change anything I want about my body. That way, I could make myself look however I want, I could disguise as anyone or anything, I could pretty much live forever by making my body younger, maybe I'd add an extra mini-brain in somewhere so if I got shot in the head or whatever, I'd be able to change my body so I had a head again, and all. 2: Time manipulation. This basically means infinite money. I could win the lottery etc. 3:Teleportation.
  11. Also, kazakhstan's real life military is 150 thousand. Even if he conscripted 500,000 people in a year, or had them volunteer, they all would be inadequately trained, then he would not be able to capture like 7 countries, many of them far away from him, and sustain occupations.
  12. ...How? You just managed to capture like 5 countries, then you take two islands no where near you. Calm down a bit.
  13. According to cracked, terrorists were trying to suicide truck somewhere, the truck lit on fire, one terrorist ran out of it on fire, and some guy kicked him in the balls so hard his foot got messed up.
  14. Once again, the only type of teleportation physically possible is quantum teleportation. And that isn't true teleportation. It only transmits data from one particle to another, basically swapping them. And that is still slower than light, and it only works for single atoms or molecules. Teleportation on a macroscopic level violates so many laws of physics. Plus it's not even that useful, it still travels around the speed of light, not faster.
  15. I don't really think a drug is possible to make lifespans longer without consequence. But, here' a drug that could actually be real. It changes how fast your cells replicate themselves. If it's slower, you'll live longer, age slower, but you'll also heal slower, surgeries will be more difficult etc. If you're cells replicate faster, you'll have a better chance of them messing up when they replicate, so you'll age slower, but you'll be able to heal significantly faster. Chimpanzees can do that naturally. (Or organgutans. I forget.) It will take a while to research though, but it is possible.
  16. Almost 60% of kazakhis are islamic... And you can't just pull a completely impossible invention out of nowhere in like a year.
  17. Oh the irony. Actually, not at all. By almost as fast as light, I mean 80%ish. That's very possible. Superluminal speeds, as far as we know are impossible. But lower than that, you just need the right about of energy. And I guess I'll send some scientists.
  18. Just researched teleportation. It's basically impossible. Quantum teleportation can in theory transfer things at a microscopic scale, but a macroscopic scale is impossible. As is superluminal travel. And teleportation of anything complicated and expecting it to come out right is pretty much ridiculous, it violates so many laws of physics (ie: Uncertainty principle) Also, my ships go almost as fast as light, and teleportation would go pretty much the same speed as them. So it's pretty much useless.
  19. How exactly does your proposed teleportation thing work? Because that is probably less cost effective than antimatter.
  20. And I probably should have made sure about what you meant. Just a misunderstanding, doesn't matter too much.
  21. I thought you meant deserts as in the technical definition, which you can't really grow crops in because there's no rain. But if you're more referring to areas like the increasing edges of the Sahara, that makes sense.
  22. Well then, I guess I'm a weather God like you said. Let it pour! Question though, what do you benefit from arguing this point? I assume that one of your main goals right now in this game is to limit me, but I can't seem to see how this would do that. I have more to gain from it than you, but it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, which is why I'm arguing this point.
  23. Nine inch nails put an album up for free on all major torrent sites somewhat recently, and another album, they offered 5 songs for free, and sold the rest of the album for 5$. They still made much, much more than the average album because of that. More people are willing to pay 5$ for an album if they know what's on it in advance, hence the free sample. And then more people are willing to pay 5$ than 13$ dollars or so. The music industry needs to change, it's behind the times. I don't think it's stealing either. A file is a collection of assembled bits of data, that could be replicated ten trillion times without any loss.
  24. Colonies in space are possible. Making deserts arable is not without a weather machine, or constant shipments of water.
  25. You realize what makes a desert a desert is the lack of precipitation? Your technology may help some arid areas, but in true deserts it would be near useless. Unless you are now a rain god. Also, the average Nigerian makes less than a dollar a day, you're going to need to put a lot of work into that country to make it mildly decent. We are designing a new type of Assault rifles, with the help of Mikhail Kalashnikov's protege and son, the aging Viktor Kalashnikov, who recently signed a contract with us. We expect them to be completed in 13 years. We are also working on a new bullet type to go coincide with that same gun. Progress in the former united states is going well. Forests have overgrown nearly everything in the past ~25 years, but we are still doing well. There are a few dozen settlements built up mostly of pre-fabs. All of our sea based mobile missile shield platforms (MMSP) boats are moving to just off of the US's east coast. Static defenses are being built on the northern border as well. Argentina has joined the B.E., and we expected other countries to follow soon.
