  1. I don't see why Alaska should join Russia. If the people living in it weren't killed in the US destruction, they would never join Russia, as most Americans still have some fear of communism. Just because the land used to be owned by russia means nothing. So I disagree with Alaska joining Russia. And for simplicities sake, I'd rather have all the Eastern parts of Canada that aren't technically quebec (so the islands to the east and south of quebec, along with the chunk of land attached to it on the east) And, just because, I claim the land that was formerly the united states. I'll assume all infrastructure is either gone, or would take as long to repair as it would to rebuild.
  2. You guys are creeping me out :? If I say kurt cobain was hot it doesn't mean I'm looking at a picture from when he was young.
  3. I was actually planning on the following for Canada: They decide to remain independent, except for Quebec, though they join an alliance with us. Basically, we protect them in exchange for better trade deals, and a steady stream of heavy water, since they can produce it and we always could use more. Also, for sake of realism, let's say Alaska wasn't destroyed by the whole America Explosion, and instead joined Canada. But this can be changed, obviously.
  4. While I don't necessarily approve of the T4R's conquest of europe, all in all, it's not that unrealistic. I think the biologic enhancers are a bit unrealistic, but it's not like their incredibly powerful enhancements that make you fly or anything like that. I mean after all, we also have terraforming, and giant walkers, and republic gunships from star wars (kinda) Also, just a question about portugal, was one of the reasons you had them join me because they share their language with Brazil? Just curious.
  5. Sere, which is better, having no people left alive and no country, or having your country be occupied. The only point of this is to stop "unstoppable" weapons, since even the most advanced missile defense can't stop everything in most cases.
  6. I'd like to make a simple treaty/deal with all countries involved in, or that may at some point become involved in WWIII. No weapons of mass destruction. The definition I'm using of that is: ICBM's, or missiles/rockets with an kill-area of over 500 feet, no orbital bombardment (this would cover me crashing a 500m spaceship at massive speeds into a country), or anything else that could be considered as harmful as the things I just said. My reasoning is this. Many countries have the firepower to pretty much wipe each other off the map with long range weapons that there is little defense against. If one person launches an ICBM, the target will launch one back, and both countries get destroyed. I just think for now it will be a bit more fun if countries don't get wiped off the map by unstoppable weapons. Instead, just conventional warfare, with more direct conflict. Anyone agree with me? EDIT: This wouldn't be a game rule, merely a treaty. So it could be broken, but anyone else who signed it might use their weapons on the treaty breaker.
  7. 17 in a few months. And thanks, rpg, I guess. It's probably just the picture that makes me look a little older, since it's kind of a weird photo.
  8. The gallery is for artwork of some form, not screenshots. I think the pictures you posted should be either in the pictures sticky in general, or Rate This forum.

Seeing as almost all the tv stations in the country are owned by huge corporations, they are all gonna be biased.
  10. Yeah, I wasn't sure where that came from with the whole exploding to save the world, but I figured i might have missed something.
  11. Technically, we agreed China wasn't destroyed, and instead it continues to function as it would before the game, and it would not do anything other that continue producing goods and selling them to the people they sell to in real life. Otherwise, all the world economies would have been heavily damaged.
  12. Hmmm...too bad that it would be hard for Inda and Bulgaria to merge without making up some [cabbage] excuse :( It wouldn't even make sense if India and Bulgaria merged, no matter what the reason. German diplomats have been sent to Algeria, Morroco, and Portugal to discuss possible inclusion within the Fourth Reich. Algeria and Morroco in particular are concerned over the Brazilian Empire's expansion in Africa. Portugal seems to want to avoid war and its subsequent destruction at any cost. Wait... Algeria and Morroco are concerned over my expansion in brazil, in which no countries have been gained through violence, and no countries have been added for maybe 10 years, but they're perfectly fine with the starter of the third world war taking over the majority of europe by force? The [bleep]?
  13. I think they left the game. Diplomats have been received from argentina, who want to join our empire with a few terms. We are also sending people to discuss canada's future.
  14. Meh, it's 4 am and my internet-sarcasm detector is pretty much gone, so you're probably right, haha.
  15. It lets emotions out, so they don't just brew in you forever. I tend not to cry too much, most of my friends cry if their boyfriends break up with them, or something like that that's not actually really important. I'd cry if someone I love died, but not much else. I do get teary eyed sometimes, but not actually crying.
  16. I think what he means about defeating missiles with a magnet is that plasma can be easily affected by magnets, and thus a magnet could probably help disperse the plasma. And a good sized EMP air blast could probably disable almost all electronics over an entire continent. So that's not fully unreasonable. How about this. We say that a decent amount of his planes were shot down upon attacking, the troops landed, did some damage and were able to hold out for some time, but eventually were overwhelmed. A small amount of them 5-10 % escaped, and are in hiding, and making their way to friendly territory. Is this okay for all involved?
  17. C-C-C-Combobreaker :twss: :twss: :twss. That's pretty much it.
  18. @ Sere: I'm not planning on wiping any players out of the game, and there is still the majority of a continent unclaimed, Asia, which has bee mostly unexploited. I'll even help anyone if they're in danger of being wiped out (I helped luxembourg evacuate).
  19. It's essentially nuclear fission. So yeah. I guess I kind of wrote it off as a bit weaker than it actually is in that last post without think about the possible damage caused by the energy release. But then again that would only be if the energy was channeled into something destructive. Oh, and that's creep about the 1984 thing a few posts back.
  20. No, the one you posted is one of the most famous super-models in the world: Alessandra Ambrosio. Not sure who the one you quoted is. Out of curiosity, I reverse image searched the one that he quoted, but I couldn't find a name.
  21. Actually, antimatter is not as destructive as you might think. Matter is to antimatter as a base is to an acid. If antimatter was mas produced, it would be incredible for small arm weapons, as no armor could stop their bullets, but the antimatter would only destroy as much matter as there was antimatter. Oh, and I think antimatter bombs are illegal, now that I think about the rules. There are no nuclear weapons, and antimatter based bombs would essentially be a form of nuclear fusion bombs. But antimatter is still useful for other things, should someone want to continue research.
  22. I feel like this is getting more and more like the war setup in 1984 (the book). In otherwords, 3 huge empire covering most of the world, in a constant state of war (atleast supposedly). Only we're not at war.
  23. Fixed a few parts of Brazil, this is accurate now. [hide=Fixed][/hide] And @ walka technically the koreas have been researching it since almost the start of the thread. They pretty much said they'd start research and come back when it's done. But if you want to put researchers on it for the next 75 years, that's fair enough. If this thread lasts that long, I imagine tech will be pretty advanced.
  24. No. Antimatter is atleast 75 years away. It costs more than the entire gdp of the world to create 1 gram. For a few hundred million dollars, we've only been able to create enough antimatter to power a lightbulb, and we expended about 10,000 times as much energy to create that anitmatter. Also, antimatter weapons would not actually be very effective, since they only really would effect an equal amount of matter as there was antimatter in the bomb. And again, 1 gram is 62.5 trillion.
  25. Newish picture. I'll admit the road is shooped in, because in the original background there was my friend wearing a bra (we were tanning outside right before it was taken), and I'm not allowed to post that. I look a lot darker in that picture than normal >.<
