if you were rich enough to care about having the extra +2 on each why wouldnt you? what would you buy with an extra 199 350 gp that you couldnt make the money in like half an hour anyway. plus the fact thats its not really so much +2 extra on the legends cape stats as a total +10 or something when you add it all together. maybe you should be asking...why would people waste 900k or more on charging a crystal bow fully, and like a million on pots and extra armour and stuff , just for the extra "+2" the fire cape has over the obby cape..... : its the same thing exept you'd have even more of a point... an extra 2 million or so for just +2 on each of your def stats :shock:

i got a whip :D and a rune def and some other good stuff, but its not really rare though is it.... the oldest holiday item i still own is probably from this halleween, my first was the easter ring but i had to dump that because of the lack of f2p bank space...now i'm a member and i want it back!....i wish i had a santa though :( i wouldnt ever get anything worth more than the santa as far as 'rares' as in a holiday item go..i dont think it's really worth it. haha leesters , nice red party hat, its a pity your so damn POOR now!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehe =p

did they do it to stop the macroes rcing or to stop the macroes mining essence?

its worse whichever way you look at it, yeah it probably kept the macroes away for a bit i suppose, but there really arnt many at all in the members worlds anyway, and it really never made a difference to me. but now i'm wasting 3 times the money as i could have training rcing, and losing i dunno how much of the profit, probably alot at the amount and type of runes i can make, which i think is just chaoses but you know..i cant train much cause it costs a bit. i'm really not sure what the whole thing is about and i wasnt a member before the change was made so i'm not sure if i would be the best person to discuss this
