I don't believe there's much more too it. Now, yes, F2P has gotten quite a bit of content recently, but I think Jagex has relaxed a bit and in a giving mood. It could perhaps be teasers for f2p, just to give them of a taste. EDIT: The above theory is a possibility. They're a business, afterall.

I almost always open a guide to see the items I need to get, as it's not fun, just a huge pain to have to stop in the middle of the quest and grab needed items. But other than that, I like to do the quest without a guide. Especially one with a fun challenge/puzzle, rather than 'run here and do this.'

Ooo, after over 3 years of playing, I got my first ever offense. And lucky me got a 10 day ban as well. Apparently I was using 3rd Party Software/Macroing (Rule 7), even though I wasn't, and never would. They didn't give me any evidence either, so what am I s'posed to even talk about in my appeal? Oh, and, it was rejected. I sent the appeal in saying that is was a mistake on their part, that I was not using 3rd Party Software/Macroing. Yet, the automated message said they have evidence I was in control of my account at the time of the offense. That makes no sense at all to me, and, if anything, works in my favor. (Of course I was in control of my account!) Oh well, there goes a clean slate.

I'd have to go with Guthix. Just the sense of calmness, yet ability to cause chaos, or to end it. Although you'll find me wearing the colors of Saradomin quite often.

Perhaps requiring a quest to wear, if, let's say, it were in fact Dragon Slayer Pt. 2. After all, that would fit the tradition. Pt 1>Rune platebody, Pt 2>Dragon Platebody. However, I'm not willing to bet on any of that just yet.

Only time will tell, I s'pose. And looking back at the picture, yeah, it appears to be the fishing, defence, attack, and fletching icons on the capes, all with strange symbols above them. Didn't Jagex state somewhere they were adding a feature to skills capes for multiple skills?

Yet double 0s are far more common. And i guarentee that you don't kill things as fast as another person using a Whip when you use your D Hally. If you both are around the same melee skill levels. Because while the Whip and D Scimitar can "afford" a 0 because they're so fast, the d hally cannot. When a 0 does happen, yes, it's a pain. But, when I use it, I can honestly say that I am killing things just as fast. A friend had a black demon task when I did, so we both went to the Edgeville Dungeon. He used a whip and prayer, and I relied on my halberd. I was killing about the same speed he was. Every once and a while he'd beat me, but I'd beat him other times. With a whip he'd hit 7s to 14's normally, with the occasional high hit, and on my hits I'd land 23's and 27's. We're one level apart as well. Now, on certain monsters where a 0 is more likely, I'd agree. But for greater demons, black demons, etc., it's not as likely.

I find it quite useful. I bring it along most of my slayer tasks, as it's come in handy multiple times when I've only a few left to kill and no food. For me, it's lack of speed makes up for its power. I end up killing things just as fast as someone standing next to me using a whip or dragon scimitar, so I personally don't consider that a drawback. Plus, seeing double 30's on a special is always fun...

Interesting style. I agree, the ground is slightly pixely, perhaps blend in the orange with something softer. Overall, great work.

Hah, like many others have said, a great read. I would love to experience those days when 'a whole new world' was open and ready to explore. The graphical update did give a little bit of that back, luckily.

Not necessarily. If you take a look at Funorb, they've successfully got a fullscreen mode of their games already going for members. It takes up the whole screen just like any client game you would see.
