About the "If I Had to be a Noob Again, I'd Say No" article: RuneScape isn't like other games, it doesn't have a starting area, and for the most part areas of the game aren't reserved for high level or low level content. You can go where ever you want and do what you want, and explore. Jagex tried to make Lumbridge a noob haven when they introduced the skill tutors, and guess what happened, it didn't work. Lumbridge is nice, but eventually everyone wants to move on, and that should really be sooner rather than later. If we encourage noobs to never leave Lumbride, they may never get a taste for exploring and quit.

One time someone stole my wallet (they stole it intentionally, I didn't lose it), including my drivers license and credit cards and a considerable amount of cash, and then they mailed my drivers license back to me. It didn't really make me feel better, since it got delivered after I had already gotten a new one.

100 posts seems a little low for changing the flood limit. A smart spammer could make a hundred useless posts quick and then go on a rampage.

Forum Restructuring - Completed
Beaumonde replied to tripsis's topic in Announcements, Rules and Security Warnings!
The reason behind that would be helpful :P I can just imagine it now, all the actual event threads getting buried in dozens of "looking for such and such group" threads. For example, the RSOF (opps, bad example, I know) forum Teamwork has ten different "Corp CS 125+" threads, people need to join existing teams and stop making their own topics, but they don't. If this was done, each boss would just need to have it's own sticky. -
I honestly find the tendency to ignore the Oxford comma (aka, the serial comma) confusing.

That would be a drop from the rare drop table, anywhere from 150 to 500 noted Big bones.

The way you asked the question, I believe the answer is actually no. From what I understand, the way it works is that the ROW affects the normal item rewards as it normally does, without increasing the chance to receive a Barrows item; but if a Barrows item ends up in your rewards chest, it's more likely to be a better (more expensive) one.

15-Sep-2011 - RuneScape Classic: The Final Countdown
Beaumonde replied to The Observer's topic in General Discussion
Anyone know how many people regularly played classic before the re-opening/how many we can expect to stick around? tl;dr Should I waste my time on classic if there wont be anyone else to play with in 3 months? -
Respawn hubs have recently been reworked, with a respawn interface that allows you to choose which 3 items you'd like to keep and which respawn point you'd like to be taken to. As of the last Edgeville graphical update, new players can choose to respawn at either Edgeville, or Lumbridge (except for the first time they die when they'll be taken to the Grim Reaper's Office temporarily). After Recruitment Drive, Falador is unlocked; after King's Ransom and completion of the Knight Waves Training Grounds, Camelot is unlocked; and after Nomad's Requiem, Soul Wars is unlocked. You may always choose to respawn at any of these permanent respawn hubs (Edgeville, Lumbridge, Falador, Camelot, and Soul Ways) on the respawn interface, as long as you've unlocked them. You can also choose to respawn at the last minor hub that you visited, these being: Ardougne, Canifis, Daemonheim, Dorgesh-Kaan, Edgeville, Etceteria, Falador, Keldagrim, Lletya, Lumbridge, Seers Village, TzHaar City, Varrock and Yanille (note that you can pick to respawn in Falador and Seers' Village even if you haven't unlocked them, if they were the last minor hub you visited). Therefore, it's no longer necessary to choose a permanent hub.

150800 (noted) adamantite ore is a known drop from the rare drop table. @armybuilder: While the ring of wealth affects the chance of you receiving a drop from the rare drop table, it is neither required to access the rare drop table nor receive a drop from the table.

I have fond memories of RuneVillage back in it's own heyday. I feel bad for RuneVillage's community, but not for Hiker, and I think Jagex had every right to go public if they thought that people were at risk. Honestly, this is another case of how easy it is to criticize from the outside, and so I wont.

That's hard to judge because it depends on how fast you can build the doors and get more planks. If you knew how many you could do per an amount of time, that would help.

So are bow ties, I demand a bow tie!

I'm not so sure about the master runecrafter robes, but I don't see why F2p can't have the bonecrusher and a bury-x option. Also, F2p should really be able to craft chaos runes to bring the price down (I even think it wouldn't be so bad to let them craft law runes and give them Entrana).

Edgeville is obviously the location of Drury Lane and this is the Muffin Man's house, I hear he is a very private person.

Mining shooting stars while wearing a charged Amulet of glory and ring of wealth produces lots of gems. You might want to bring a gem bag if the star location is far from a bank, as depending on your mining level and star size the gems can fill up your inventory. You can join the cc "w31 stars" to get star locations.

An easy way to remember then/than is this phrase an English teacher once taught me: I found a panda and then we bought malt liquor. I hold my malt liquor better than a panda. The pure ridiculousness keeps you from forgetting, and if you remember it it's pretty easy to see that "then" is for progression of time and "than" is for comparison.

The Nature Altar makes Nature runes.

Anyone have any more information on the Shark's tooth necklace? I've heard you need 76 fishing to have a chance to obtain the pieces and 91 crafting to put the necklace together. -
Frost dragons, banshees, even ankous.

Honestly, while I believe most of the things he is saying, I really don't believe that there are things about bots that they can't tell us now but will be able to tell us some day. -

Honestly, I know it sucks, but in a few days people will stop complaining and start trying to figure out how to recruit as many new paying players as possible. Everyone is in it for themselves, including Jagex. -
Indeed. If there has even been a really bad graphic update, it's this. I thought I was the only one who felt this way. The new rocks are way harder to tell whether they have ore in them, especially coal.

After the quest you can speak to Brundt any time for your reward, which comes in three lots. So the answer is yes, you can come back after you get 75 prayer.
