Nomrombom
Poast some lost and found stories. They can be current or from the past. I once found 100$ cash on the ground. Well... I kind of saw it fall from someone's pocket but they didn't notice. I have no idea what he was doing with it outside of a wallet in his pocket, but my view was/is that if he's so careless he doesn't keep a hundred dollar bill a little more protected, then he doesn't really deserve it back. I guess that might sound mean, but... yeah. PM me for fitocracy invite
Assume Nothing
I'll have to say this: inb4virginityjoke On topic: I've found similar amounts of money before. I remember finding a 50 pound note, I was well pleased back in the day (was very young).
The Observer
I lost my- oh, Skeptic beat me. My dad's fairly lucky when it comes to these things. He once found $50 and another time he found a cell phone and an iPod.
Skull
One day at work I found $5 in the parking lot about 10 seconds after thinking to myself how weird it was that I had never found any money before. Other than that I've found money a couple times, never more than $20. Although I did find headphones and an iphone at work in the same night. I kept the headphones but I knew who the iphone belonged to so I turned it in. Also morals and stuff. But mostly because I knew who's it was. Riku3220
Oh come on Nom, if you see the guy drop it then you should give it back. Of course if it's just flying the in the breeze and you legitimately have no idea who it came from, then it's all yours. Anyways, I found $20 in the middle of an empty hallway at school one day. That was an awesome day.

Maleficus1055
In 5th grade I found 2$ on the ground and was so excited and told my dad, and he made me return it to the principal "in case someone came to claim it", so the principal made 2$ that day. Junior year of high school, I found a 20 on the ground as I was leaving the band locker room.Senior year, I found a 20 again, same place. Tumblr. Follow me! I would have went inside, pocketed it in my sock, wait 5 or 6 minutes and then walk back outside.
stevepole
I've also found $100 on the ground, but at the time I found it the person I assumed lost it was driving away and far gone by the time I realized what was in front of me. I felt guilty for taking it for about a week before I deposited it into my bank.

Beaumonde
One time someone stole my wallet (they stole it intentionally, I didn't lose it), including my drivers license and credit cards and a considerable amount of cash, and then they mailed my drivers license back to me. It didn't really make me feel better, since it got delivered after I had already gotten a new one. mcneilp
Found a £20 note on the ground once and someone's wallet some other time. I kept the twenty as there was nobody around who it could belong to but I handed the wallet in to the police station as it had bank cards and other important [cabbage] in it that would be a headache to replace. Also pictures of the dudes kids, which would've made me feel guilty as [bleep] if I'd kept it. Kimberly
I lost my soul once. I assume it returned via UPS? They didn't get the required signature and left it on his doorstep; sadly, he lives in a seedy neighborhood and it was stolen. Moral of the story: [bleep] UPS. Dizzle229
I love returning things to people, feels good. I remember at the end of the last day before Christmas break in 9th grade I found so many lost things I ended up leaving the free period to track down like 8 people whose stuff I had. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
ilovecuttingyews
I have found 2 iPods, 1 phone, and a hoodie in my university classes. I have and will always give them to the professor and have them take them to the lost and found in the general office.

You can see if your package will require a signature online, and if it does, it will not be left on the doorstep. You can also ask UPS to hold the package at one of their stores until you pick it up (in a reasonable amount of time). My_Eggs
I found $7 on the 8th teebox at a disc golf course when I lived in Iowa. I used it to buy energy drinks for my buddy and I. I also found an iPod shuffle on the side of the road when I was riding my bike. Sold it to some guy my freshman year of highschool for $35 (was like $50 at Walmart, $30 for a used one on ebay). 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Giordano
Ehhh. A) I would hate to loose money and someone never giving it back to me. B) But I would love to find free money on the ground. To support my ability to conduct option B if ever given the chance, I can't say I'm against what the OP did.
