$700bn Wallstreet Bailout REJECTED
Eh, I'm not too worried about college. I'm taking a year off after I graduate this spring and getting a job. I figure I can get a full time job at a security place (where my best friend's dad is the operations manager), live at home, save up money and college won't be quite as rough.

You'll do 3 sets. 8 reps, 8 reps, then on the last set you'll go until you fail (can't get the bar off your chest). Make sure you're lifting enough weight that 8 reps is difficult, otherwise you're doing yourself no good. Make sure you have a lifting partner. Free weights can be dangerous once you get tired. Good diet, plenty of cardio (you need low body fat % to be able to see your abs), and exercises like crunches, left lifts, hanging left lifts, etc.

$700bn Wallstreet Bailout REJECTED
Taxing $2,000 out of every american citizen's pocket to bail out failing, private owned subprime lenders and banks doing irresponsible overnight loans... The above article sums up well why the bankruptcy of those companies is the correct answer, and fortunately enough the congress did reject the $700bn bill. Bankruptcy doesn't mean those companies and banks disappear. The profitable aspects of the business still stay, just under new management. But their mistakes shouldn't be paid by the "average Joe". "Average Joe" didn't force those banks to grant $200,000 loans to people with broken credit scores, lending hundreds of millions per night to other, unstable banks playing on currency futures as if it's a game of roulette.. Those institutions will need new, more competent management which is also objective & critical to pressure from the congress. I think this is what a lot of people are not understanding. They're hearing "this $700b bailout plan will save our economy" and not think twice about how it's going to hurt the country. The gov't isn't going to put up the money to save companies that have made bad choices. It's going to be us, the taxpayers. Already many of us are in financial problems, so why would anyone support paying MORE taxes to save somebody else's company? If your local MacDonalds was going out of business, you wouldn't walk in there and hand them a check big enough to to cover what they need to stay in business. You'd wonder where you're going to get your burgers now. So why pay for some big company to keep up their terrible practices when they're going to land us in the same situation again? Let them crash and burn. New companies will soon replace them.

I don't consider myself "skinny" nor do I ever plan on being "skinny". I have a friend who is 6'1" 130lbs. I'm 5'7" 155lbs. Of course, a year without lifting or exercise besides karate 3 nights a week has left me with a nice layer of fat over my abs and some muscle loss. If I started eating healthy and running I could drop down to 145 in 2 weeks, easily. My plan is to get on that then start lifting once my weight is down and steady.

http://www.healthmad.com/Men's-Health/S ... ight.44334 Make sure you're getting 30% or less calories from fat. It's fairly simple to figure out. Look at the label on what you want to eat, find calories and calories from fat. Divide calories from fat by calories and you'll know whether or not you should eat it.

Your Environment...
Yep, let's blame all "social breakdown" on chavs. A bit of scapegoating never hurt anyone. Stereotypes are the scapegoats of society. Without them we would have to deal with the actual problems, as Ray shows us now.

Paranormal Experience
Stop bumping this. If someone has something to contribute, they can run a quick search while I go do drugs because I'm so cool. If not, there's no point in taking up valuable space on the first page when nobody has anything to say. You just bumped it. It was at the top of the first page. Take a look at previous post times before you jump to conclusions

Guys and Long Hair
Ladies and gentlemen, here we have a prime example of the uneducated basing his ideas on stereotypes. Beautiful, isn't it? But, do they come in diferent colors? My wife prefers a dark blue. Yes, yes they do. Your wife doesn't mind the smell of paint, does she?

That's some pretty damn good advice. That's actually not good advice in this case. His stress seems to be coming from school and work for the most part. Think he should drop out of school and quit his job so he doesn't have them stressing him out anymore?

Ravedancing, a topic for all you clubbers there!
I'll be going to at least one rave in my life. A friend promised to try ecstasy with me if we ever go to one so I'm taking him up on that once we're in college ;)

I did. But you can thank Rainy_Day for removing it. A friend and I had our shirts off since we were coming from a lake (swimming) and Rainy decided it was "pornographic." I don't much like Rainy.. Edit: Just for you Rarex: [hide=]I'm the one on the right, wearing my ex-gfs oversized sunglasses :P As you can tell, it's been nearly a year since I lifted (I stopped in the fall of '07). I've been pretty lazy but with spring break in Cancun, I'm considering getting started again. I at least need to get my abs back by then and I'm dreading the thought of running #-o[/hide]

Saw 5
Agreed. Which is why I'll be watching this movie when it comes out. Not excited for it, but I do enjoy the Saw series.

Your Funny Real Life Moments
Spent a whole day partying with some friends and after we all sobered up we went out in search of something new to do. There were 4 of us and we took 2 cars because the other driver was the only person who hadn't sobered up (he continued to drink all day and had his Coke can full of vodka has we drove along). So one friend and I were in the lead car while the drunk one and another guy were in the rear car. We were going down a main street keeping an eye out for something to do when I notice the guy behind switching lanes and speeding up. As they come up next to us I see the passengers bare [wagon] mooning us but right by the drivers face. Was funny as hell because the driver was the drunk one and it didn't even phase him that he had another man's [wagon] in his face

BMX Biking.
I used to ride BMX. I was never very good and a big scare kind of pushed me away from it. I was riding around at a nearby football stadium a few years back and I saw a nice looking 5 stair. Long take off area, long landing area. Was the biggest thing I ever jumped so I decided to go for it and hope for the best. Rode up to it a few times to get the feeling and I finally went for it. Great take off, lots of air, nice landing. Felt great. Did it a few more times without many problems. Then my last attempt for the day was a mess. It was all good until I got into the air. Left foot slipped off the pedal and went backwards and under the rear peg. Pedal jammed up into my knee because my other foot was now alone forcing it's pedal down. Landed with my leg jammed under the rear peg and smashed against the pedal. Couldn't walk on it for a while, nice gash that was bleeding at a steady rate, and all I could do was sit there and laugh. Took me a while but I finally got to my feet and used my bike to hold me up as I worked my way home. Got away with no stiches and nothing broken. Just a scared to get me away from BMX and I can still see where the skin never filled in the gash to this day. This summer I went back to that jump, but I jumped it on a skateboard instead. Landed it once and called it a day ;) Also, I used to ride a Mongoose "Team Edition" or something like that. It's still sitting in my shed and I haven't touched it in a while. I think I might get it out just for a ride one of these days :-k

who wear jeans?
Agreed On topic: I wear jeans because I don't like wearing other types of long pants out in public. I like my jeans loose, faded, and slightly torn. Yes, I'm the kind of guy who buys jeans that look like they've been worn many times. Though I do have a few pairs that aren't like that, usually worn at events where comfort isn't what you're aiming for.

Not a bad choice though. At least it wasn't a topic about a news article from 3 years ago.

Study help
I hardly ever study. High school is pretty easy if you really think about. But for those times I do need to study I require music. Loud music. Complete silence drives me insane (to the point I will literally stab my writing utensil through my homework and refuse to do it), a tv nearby distracts me, and people talking just plain annoy me. I suppose once I start college I'll end up studying far more often.

Wow. All those intense workout, super results, and still not willing to post a pic? I'm going to suppose you're not seeing the results you want because you're an idiot and won't listen to me. So I'll tell you again. Lifting with the same muscles every day will get you very little results. You're not resting your muscles enough for them to rebuild themselves. But if you want to keep being an arrogant little punk, by all means enjoy your worthless workouts. You could be building so much more muscle, but you think you know what's good for you and you're really hurting yourself in the process.

PETA wants Ben & Jerrys to use human breast milk
I seem to remember some guy coming around here and complaining because Jagex allowed you to smack a dog or something in the game and he thought it was just terrible that they allowed cruelty to animals in their game. Seriously, don't put it past anybody.
