This is what I'm trying to explain and that's why I brought up the example of military experience. It just doesn't seem like someone who uses marijuana would be nacking it like he is. The type of person who would do that usually does NOT use or has used once or twice. Which is also why I brought up the 3 first times you do it and how I've seen people react differently to it. Yeah. You're pretty spot on with the first 3 times thing. I've known quite a few people who didn't feel anything their first time. I was lucky enough to feel it a little lol.

Maybe if you tried them more than once you would understand. There's a little code my friends and I like to use. It goes a little something like this: First time-Nothing. Second time-You don't understand what you're feeling. Third time- You embrace it and feel bliss. I could go ahead and post a bunch of military tactics that I found online, but since I've never really experienced any type of war or battle, I would just be blowing smoke. Until you start blowing smoke more often (in the literal sense), you're just blowing smoke when you post facts about marijuana, because to any user, you obviously have not experienced it enough to rag it. I can't believe you're seriously arguing that he's "blowing smoke" when talking about the effects of marijuana simply because he's not used it (despite the fact I'm pretty sure venomai has, correct me if I'm wrong, mate). Seriously, if you haven't experienced something, you can still easily know something about it. I've never been in zero gravity, but I can still read up about it's effects on the human body (e.g. many people vomit the first time because their brain is tricked into believing that the body is experiencing free fall). I'd say you can know the effects. I wouldn't say you totally understand them until you've felt it for yourself. I've read about what people see on acid trips, but I don't feel I totally understand it nor will I understand it until I feel it for myself. Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about.. It's late and I'm tired lol

Went out on out little date today. New concept to me, dating without being a couple but it was nice. Had a good time overall and found out she turns 16 on the 30th of this month. So the age difference isn't as big as I thought it was going to be, she's only 2 years younger than me :D

The Suite includes Illustrator. OP is just focusing on Photoshop because it's the most commonly used I don't plan on getting CS4. I've got CS3 and it's good enough for me. Although I don't like PS CS3 as much as CS2, I love Illustrator CS3.

Dammit we need a rule against bumping topics. As I've said before, if somebody has something to contribute, they have this nifty thing called the search feature. #-o Well it isn't a rule (I think). If I was bumping this topic everyday I would understand where you are coming from, but I don't. Even so, we don't need topics renewed after they've reached their limit. If you have a new idea for a topic, go ahead and make one but don't bring back old topics. All it does is bore the hell out of people who have already posted since topics like this don't have a ton of discussion value besides posting your own story and making small talk about other peoples' stories.

Maybe it's just me, but I get tired of seeing topics that haven't been posted in for over a week suddenly job to the top of the first page. And when I go to see what's new, all I find is "Bump". No. That's just stupid. I think something needs to be done about people bumping their topics to the top of the first page for no apparent reason. We have a search feature so if somebody decides they have something to contribute to the thread they can run a quick search and find the appropriate place to post. We don't need the same topics being renewed week after week.

Went to a party last night. Was pretty boring since everyone was drinking besides the guy I rode with, some other guy, and me. I wasn't drinking because I didn't want a hangover today (I have a problem stopping before I'm wasted). So we dipped out early and the rest of the night was totally uneventful. Oh well, today should be better :)

AOC is 16 where I live and I don't plan on trying to get in her pants before then. Last thing I need is the popo on my trail. I never once claimed to love her. I said we hit it off as in we got long well and we're going on a date, not falling in love. I doubt this relationship will amount to much, but it'll be fun for the time being. I'm actually a high school senior. One of the oldest in my class. She's currently a sophomore. You're right, there is a difference between 18 and 15 year olds. But over the past few weeks I've been cleaning up my act and maybe if nothing else comes of it, I can be a positive influence on her. Edit: I looked into it and there's an exception to the age of consent (for 14/15 year olds) where I live as long as the partner is less than 4 years older. Also, I just told my dad about me having a date with a 15 year old. For a minute he was all worried I was going to go to jail, but then he gave it a little thought and basically told me not to get myself in trouble. Lol :P Edit#2: Didn't feel like making a new post for this. This girl and I aren't even technically a couple yet and I'm already happier with her than with any previous relationship. She actually notices the little things I do, she doesn't want me to pay for her when we go somewhere, she's actually willing to pick what we do (previous gfs always ended up with "i don't care"), and she compliments me (which I'm totally not used to in relationships). Finally, a relationship I can enjoy and have fun with :)

And honestly I don't see much of a difference. video games give you brain and eye cancer, not lung cancer :lol: But seriously, video games at least don't give second hand computer vision Video games can easily be linked to inactivity, especially for people with addictive personalities. A lack of exercise is very bad you, as is smoking. You can play video games in moderation and be healthy, while smoking in moderation can still give you breathing problems or time. I see what your getting that though. True, but as I said, if you have an addictive personality you're going to be boned. And relating to OP's specific case, he doesn't have time for [cabbage] so how is he going find time to play video games?

Eh, depending on what it's laced with can actually make it pretty fun. I'm not sure what the stuff I got was laced with, but my brother and friend turned into cartoons and monsters at times, and I also kept blacking out. Only time it happened was with that bag :?

Always knew that you were a rebellious 12 year old skater. Stereotypes are the scapegoats of society. You don't like their music and you're uncomfortable with your own musical taste so you feel the need to take a stab at anything you think others might find "uncool". It's fine not to like them, but you don't need to make fun of their fans when you're obviously self-conscious about what you listen to in your free time. It's a shame people act like this. Just curious.. What's everyones' opinions on an 18 year old dating a 15 year old? Last night I went to my school's homecoming game with my best friend. He was meeting a girl from the opposing team's school there and she was supposed to be bringing a friend. Of course, I was hoping her friend would be hot but to my despair her friend turned out to be a guy. Luckily she brought her sister who is gorgeous. We hit it off pretty well and ended up talking on AIM until nearly 3AM. Now we've got a double date on Sunday and it should be fun :) Edit: On the subject of first dates, we're going ice skating. Fun activity and plenty of time to talk. :)
