I've seen multiple comments about Obama getting sympathy votes because of this. Tell me, how many of you are going to vote for Obama now just because you feel bad that his grandmother died? I bet none of you. And while I know most of us a more educated than the average voter, I highly doubt very many people are going to give up their precious vote for McCain to give to Obama out of sympathy. I feel bad for him, losing his grandmother and all, but if my vote was going to McCain before this then it would continue to go to McCain after this and I'd be willing to bet most voters feel the same way. I personally think it's voters who are not confident in their candidates that feel the need to make excuses as to why their candidates lost/are going to lose. (<- I am speaking for any election with that last sentence, not just this current presidential election)

Haha, I love to see these new cars that aren't dependent on gas. But no matter how much I like to see our society progress, I'm still a huge fan of muscle cars and they're not exactly helping our environment much.

Depending on the drugs that are used, people may not be hurting themselves as much as you think. Legalization of all drugs would not give us a bad reputation, in my opinion. I would see it as making us seem like more of a free country, since that's what we seem to pride ourselves on. Yes, we have our rights but they're slowly being taken away. Maybe some with good reason, but why tell us what we can/cannot do with our own bodies? Rhetorical question seeing as how often it comes up.

Care to elaborate as to why they're bad/unhelpful? Personally I love the art that is inspired from drug use and have found recreational drugs to be quite helpful in expanding my mind.

I suggest you not only see a doctor about the glass you've eaten, but you also see a psychiatrist about some other issues you may have.

I was going to make a comment about the sexual aspects of your post but.. Welcome to a life of loneliness. You are never going to find a girl who doesn't have issues of some sort and you'd best expect to get involved because you don't really have a choice. They're going to tell you all about their [cabbage]ty day, how their ex won't stop emailing them (even though they emailed him first), or some other junk you don't care to hear but put up with so that there's a chance you'll get some action.
