  1. Did you really expect to get a bunch of replies talking about alien sightings from today? Seriously kid, you have no idea how Off Topic works
  2. You wouldn't run into battle unarmed and naked. Why would you start throwing out ignorant questions like that without doing some research to know what you're talking about?
  3. Don't forget to make it messy :
  4. What makes no sense? The iTouch is an MP3 player and the iPhone is a phone.
  5. Parents were teenagers too at some point Maybe you're a bit young to understand this but sex, like many other things, changes over time. New positions, toys, accessories, etc. are invented and change sex. The basics are still the same of course, there are just some things we do that our parents might not have done when they were our age. My parents, however, are not behind in times in terms of sex seeing as how they run multiple businesses selling products for such an act.
  6. I got a 25 and I'm nowhere near depressed at this point in my life. Things are going good for me, yet the internet tells me I'm feeling down :-k

  8. It's rare to see someone admit that. It's funny how so many people tell us that they don't even care about their post count, yet I'm willing to bet anything that it is one of the main motivators for posting. By the way, I'm guilty of this too. *Cough* What are you listening to? On the subject of post counts, you guys might find this interesting: memberlist.php?sk=d&sd=d&mode= Recognise any names? Yep.. The 'core' of tip.it users are mainly off-topic posters, past or present, retired or active. I thought it wouldn't be that way, just found out after reading this topic and checking it out of curiosity. Funny that 0.003% of the userbase, or 50 people in other words, have made roughly 10% of the total posts on tip.it. Wow, I guess I've never looked at that. Pretty cool I suppose, especially the part about 50 people making up 10% of TIF posts.

Some day you'll be in this situation again but you'll look at your list and realize you need none of it, and that will be the end of it because you'll want to eat and have a home/vehicle instead of meaningless toys.
  10. Honor? Or possibly shame?
  11. Ergh, get over it. I honestly didn't find that thread even remotely funny. It's not because I'm trying to be "mature" by not finding sexual jokes funny, it just.. wasn't funny. I agree, very few things in that thread really made me laugh. Much of it though was a shame to see.. I'm glad you're achieving your somewhat hypocritical goal. Unless you don't see openly admitting that kind of desensitization as somewhat shameful. :) What I'm saying is I only opened up to page 10 so I'm assuming it slowly got this weird. But I'd tone it down because you guys should consider yourselves lucky right now the mods are even allowing this thread and you're about to lose this one too. I'm somewhat of a hypocritical person. Though I'd be willing to bet we're all hypocritical at times.
  12. I'm proud to have helped achieved this goal :

  14. Once you've seen the things I've seen, then you're desensitized to it. I can watch it without even getting turned on at this point. That being said, I challenge you to a porn watching contest. :geek:
  15. I second this idea. This would be amazing :)

  17. Speaking of hard drugs, I actually saw an anti-LSD commercial the other day. I was fairly surprised to see it but thinking about it I also saw an anti-cocaine commercial as well. All I'd ever seen before in the way of drugs was marijuana. I suppose they did a good job scaring kids away from cocaine as the commercial revolved around some grade school kid being taken to the hospital after doing a single line, but the LSD commercial kind of glamorized the drug by saying things like "being able to hear colors and see sounds." Unless maybe that kind of thing just appeals to me :-k
  18. I keep coming back because there are few other places I've found that can actually keep a conversation going for a while. Also, I get a few good laughs here and there that aren't catering to my slightly immature sense of humor.
  19. Homecoming basically includes a football game (where your team is expected to win), a parade, some "dress-up" days at school, and a dance. The dance is semi-formal so it requires you to dress up a bit and bring a date (though some people choose to go alone).
  20. I think you're ignorant. It's been proven that those anti-tobacco/alcohol/drug commercials actually make kids more likely to try said substances. Why else would tobacco companies pay for anti-smoking commercials? Looks good in the eyes of the parents and draws in new customers.
  21. Yes, wear a tie. I don't think the material or patterns matter as long as you match your date.
  22. When you're in middle school it's not about finding someone you're remotely attracted to or care about, it's all about getting in with the "cool kids".

I'm with you on that one bro. Years of experience really toughen you up ;)
  24. Hmm.. After that story I've decided you're either 13 years old, a troll, or you don't have a clue how relationships work and are more interested in showing people you're not addicted to RuneScape and instead have become a closet gamer.
  25. If women are going to continue being more obsessed with their appearance than with the issues at hand, they have no place being in office.
