  1. Banned for using one of the lamest, and possibly most-used, bans ever.
  2. 3/10. The avatar looks familiar, but I don't recognize the name.
  3. Because Bob and George (don't ask :XD:) eat them. Why is it that some people just cannot understand binary?
  4. nope... I got fourteen right here -> 14.
  5. Agree on #1. :P The bank update is nasty imo, everything keeps moving and won't stay still anymore. >< Agree on #2. :P Stated why I dislike #4 elsewhere. And I've never tried SC. D: But the two I agreed with were definatly my favourite updates this year. Good choice! I admit the bank update was hard to get use to, but it makes removing some things easier (like combat gear; you can just click the same item sever times to get it and the items following it), the organizational potentials are amazing and easy to maintain, and the search feature just finished it up with a very easy way to find "missing" items. As for fullscreen, I can't play without it anymore and it runs perfectly on my computer (although I understand the pain of those whose computers can't take it). I also really like the layout of it (although I will admit that the mini-map and the inventory can get in the way every now and then). And you have to go try Stealing Creation some time. I thought it'd be dumb at first, but then I went and tried it and now I can't leave. I got 80 smithing, crafting, mining, and construction just so I could use them there and I now have 35 proto-tools in my bank and close to 400 points waiting to be spent (I can't spend them, though, because I only have 8 bank spaces left and I don't feel like using the tools I have :XD:).
  6. I'm going to have to go with the gonecopters. Sure, Jagex is trying to make money, but the copters are pretty much worthless. They're out of the way and only little kids, who aren't likely to be able to subscribe for a while, are going to go ahead and look at what they know they can't have.
  7. 1. Summoning 2. The bank update (has everyone forgotten this already?) 3. While Guthix Sleeps (and, more specifically, d claws) 4. Fullscreen (the graphics are great too, but not nearly as awesome as fullscreen) 5. Stealing Creation
  8. The dragon platebody was probably just because people like that it's finally out and because the lower levelled people who get owned by d claws/can't get their own didn't like them for those two reasons. As for music, I prefer my own.
  9. A few hours. It's just like every other pet out there. Try to do something while it's growing and don't watch the growth % thingy (but be sure to feed it!). A watched raven never grows! (I'm sorry, but the saying fit perfectly here and I couldn't resist).
  10. Yaay!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and be sure to watch out for me there... I might steal your runes (I just finished a game where I stole close to 10k runes (I'd get some, die, get more, die, etc.)... good fun). Especially you, Toast. If I see you in a gem, I'm definitely going to go for your pockets. :-w
  11. I seem to have turned into a Stealing Creation addict and was just wondering if anyone new if there was a limit on the amount of points (the ones used to buy the proto-tools and such) a person could have. I only have 8 bank spaces left (35 tools FTW) and I don't want to be having fun without any material rewards to go along with it. :P Thanks in advance!
  12. Once you get 53 smithing, you can make mith bolts at the blast furnace (be sure to use sacred clay hammers; you might have to feather the bolts to get them to sell). This generallyabout breaks even with the possibility to make some money depending on when you buy/sell your supplies/bolts (respectively). As for herblore, you really have three choices: you can research each potion you can make and buy the stuff to make the one that will cost the least (slower exp, but less cost); you can just buy everything for and make the potion that will give yout he most exp (best exp, but likely to cost more); or you can collect your own herbs and just use the ones you get (slowest exp, by far, but also the cheapest).
  13. If you can afford it, smelting gold bars with gold gauntlets (from the family crest quest) is the fastest exp. A way to make a little money off smithing, though is to make mith bolts at the blast furnace (you might have to feather them to get them to sell, though). If you make mith bolts, I also suggest getting and using sacred clay hammers.
  14. III Forget languages that still exist, let's go back to Roman numerals.
  15. I don't see how a 'first come, first served' policy wouldn't suffice. im sure ur going to see a bunch of ppl complaining on the rsof People complain about everything on the RSOF. You can't make everyone happy and the moment you start trying is the moment things stop getting done.
  16. [hide=quotes] LOWER?! I think you mean raise. If Jagex lowered the GE prices for 3rd age, it'd just take longer for them to become tradable on the GE again. EDIT: It's an interesting theory and, with the merchanting clans out there now, I wouldn't throw it out completey, but I do have to point out that the amount of cash that would be required to pull that off is astronomical. 3rd age might be rare, but it's not like there are only a few hundred of each piece out there (and even if there were only a few hundred of each, it'd still require a ginormous amount of money to buy them all). Now, I'm not against a boost in the drop rate of 3rd age. It's definitely one way to bring prices back down and make them tradable via the GE, but I do believe that the best way to fix this is to just raise the GE prices to where people start selling their 3rd age again and watch the very likely price crash and subsequent "rollercoaster"-like prices until everything levels out and restarts its natural, slow price fall. Oh, set the price to the junk trade price of what maybe like 20 people in the entire game are buying and selling at? Sure, if you want them to be like Party Hats, unsellable. [/hide] No... Raise the prices maybe 25% of the way to the street price; if that doesn't work got to 40%; if it's still not trading, go to 50%; etc. I highly doubt the point at which they start selling again is at the current street prices, but if it requires taking the prices there and then dropping them back down (which probably should be done to partyhats now that you mention them), then that's what needs to be done. What really needs to happen is Jagex's GE team needs to go out and start doing what it's supposed to do (if it actually exists, that is): change wrong prices.

  18. My theory about third age prices is that, with the release of the GE, people who, before, had been too lazy to even think about trying to get 3rd age started trying to buy it and, with increased demand, came increased prices. However, beccause the GE couldn't keep up with the rapid price rise, people started to junk trade 3rd age. The prices continued to rise and people saw what was happening with the junk trading and the fact that people were paying much more than the GE allowed for and stopped selling. This just drove (street) prices even higher. They'll come back down (probably fairly quickly) once the GE reaches a price that most 3rd age owners are willing to sell at (which could take quite a while at current rates). The only fast way to get 3rd age buyable via the GE is for Jagex to go in and start raising the prices manually until people start selling again.
  19. Zamorak spiritual mages use flames of zamorak. Saradomin spiritual mages use saradomin strike. Also: Lol'd I heard someone say some monsters are NPC so i thought that applied for monsters as well, atleast i had right definition of NPC in beginning. But i guess messed up. As for the Zamorak mage and Saradomin, yeah they use those attacks, so what? If you can't bring a new info to the table or discuss in a way that's respectable i suggest you leave this thread. Laughing at me with a "Lol'd" isn't respectable, so i would appreciate that you take this topic serious. If not you can always leave the discussion board  His point about the attacks, I think, is that, because the Armadyl/Bandos mages don't use corresponding "god" spells like those of Zamorack and Saradomin, there won't be any Armadyl/Bandos spells. Jagex could, of course just change the attacks if they add the spells, but there is logic in Toast's argument (even if you didn't see it at first). Personally, I find the prospect of new "god" spells interesting and these ideas are pretty good (I like the ideas presented by the possibility fo a new spellbook, but I hate changing spellbooks, so I'll just let Jagex decide how to work that). As for weapons in general, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the new line of weaponry that Jagex is working on. If you haven't noticed, RS's (best) weaponry has kind of gone through stages: it started as the regular metals, then moved up to dragon, then barrows, and now, possibly, "god" weapons.
  20. When the GE was first released, Jagex stated that they had a team specifically for fixing wrong prices. So far the only changes I can remember them making were on granite prices after they made the larger pieces breakable (there are more, but they're all pretty insignificant). The GE needs three things: wrong prices fixed, price floors/ceilings/dependencies* removed, and a much more flexible pricing system (especially for new items). The first two are easy; just change a few integers (and possibly remove the coding for price floors/ceilings/dependencies* if those aren't just integers also). The third item requires a little more consideration. What would be better: a larger price range (say 10%), more price updates, or a combination of the two? And for new items, should there be a few days/weeks where Jagex sets a recommended price for player-to-player trades but leaves the GE open to any prices, should the new items just get a huge price range (like 100%) to start with, or should they choose between the three options (if you include the one they use now) depending on the item? Personally, I'd go for a combination of a 10% price range for all items with two price updates each day with new items coming out with a recommended price but open to any price on the GE for a few days with the average price changing said "recommended price" on a regular basis. *These refer to the current limits on the GE that say item x's price can't go below/above y gp (like how rune javelins can't go below 312 gp) or that item x's price must change with item z's price (like how addy arrows (p++) prices change because of the changes in superpoison prices (they're currently worth 1271 gp; good luck selling any at that price)).
  21. Party hats have been slowly falling in price since the release of the GE. My guess is that they'll eventually hit some magical floor at which people will start buying them again and the prices will skyrocket and do the whole up-down-up-down rollercoaster thing for a while until they level out and restart their (extremely) slow rise in price. The question is: When will this happen? The problem is: nobody knows for sure. According to the laws of supply and demand, the price should eventually rise again, so it might be a nice (extremely) long-term investment, but if you're going to be needing cash some time in the next couple months, then sell it and take the loss (try leaving it on the GE while looking around for buyers elsewhere). It's not worth holding onto it for now only to need the cash after it's dropped even lower. Whatever you do, good luck and Merry Christmas!
  22. Well, let's see here.... New weapon with awesome special attack that everyone wants (very high demand), a limited supply to start with followed by a major nerfing of the monsters that drop them in order to try and save another item's price (d plate). Oh, and I almost forgot the fact that everyone that has one but doesn't have the junk to get the price they want is just holding on to them until the GE price, which Jagex had to set at 150k and won't manually update even though they said they had a team for that very purpose (very low supply at GE price). High demand + low supply = very high prices. Just wait a few weeks/months for the price to rise to where people without junk start selling them and then wait out the price crash. Not sure where they'll level out, but I'm guessing they'll be at at least 5-10 mill for a while (remember, tormented demons aren't soloable any more (so far as I know)).
  23. 4 SANDWICH LADIES?! And 12 EVIL CHICKENS?! I feel sorry for the recipient of those... The other gifts aren't too bad (although mods a'banning would only be good if they're banning your enemies  ). Merry Christmas, Everybody!!!!
  24. I find that public clan chats are too much of a mess to read through. I prefer the forums over public clan chats any day. However, private clan chats where it's just you and friends are completely different since you can read what people are saying before it goes off the menu and there aren't any (well, as many  ) annoying spammers on private chats. Forums:  Public chats:  Private chats:
