March 12, 200719 yr I'm pretty sure everyone's seen by now the millions of new "movies" and "videos" runescape players have been posting. Well, for a while now I've been planning to do one with a group of friends. Seeing the millions of videos, most of them low quality and rushed, depressed me a little bit (please don't take offence at this). Anyways, seeing them spurred us on a little bit, and finally our plans are taking form. So, right away we spend a few days collecting treasure trail items. Were hoping to get some of the costumes we need, or at least some money to buy them, and we all have our share of laughs doing it. This goes pretty smoothly and pretty soon we've raised the cash we need. Then came the mistake. I went to f2p world 1 to buy the costumes we need, and saw a crowd doing emotes. Just for fun I went inside and did every emote other than the one they were doing. They laughed, I cried. They danced, I panicked. They jumped for joy, I slapped my head. They flapped... (oops) I did HP cape emote. In no time flat I have 30 people ranging from level 15 to level 80 following me asking me for more emotes. Can you say lag? Well, I was trying to get away from them but only succeeded in increasing the size of my little fan club. I asked my friend to help, and this is what he said. Look! It's Soma2035! Look! It's Zezima's second account! Everyone! Zezima's back! Everyone! Soma2035 is Zezima! Yep... right about there, my fan club increased from 40 to 100 and all shouting "Welcome back zezima!" and "Emote please!". The lesson of all this? Don't go f2p shopping wearing a skill cape, and always shop alone. Oh... if any mods have a problem with me using this particular person's name in this context, feel free to edit it out and just replace it with [famous person's name] or something... I'm not sure if using it like such violates any rules but if it does, please fix it or let me know. :) Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!

March 12, 200719 yr Author i didnt fully understand but something about you doing hp cape emote and getting a ton of ppl to follow you? i dont see why they would call you zezimas new ac or something Ehh... basically my friend decided that instead of helping me, he made up some lies about me being Zezima... And honestly, somehow those f2pers would believe anything... :\ Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!
March 12, 200719 yr Hehe. I'm guessing Zezima was their earlier doing an emote. I saw Wakka post about him doing jig or something, and everyone in Lumbridge started doing it  Sucks for you, even sucks more for the F2P'ers who were "do EMOte ploeaxe!1" eventually finds out that you're not Zezima.
March 13, 200719 yr lol, i'm new to the whole skill cape thing...gonna have to try that heh :anxious: :o Unfortunately, that sounds unfortunate for ya.Doing quest cape emote in f2p is so fun. noob: d00d h0w d0 j00 g3t d4t bl00 pl4te Translation: dude how how do you get that blue plate Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
March 13, 200719 yr I love doing that :D . I went to Lumbridge in a highly populated free world with my gilded and white phat on with a prayer cape and started doing the emote over and over while running around the castle. It was very enjoyable  . I took a bunch, these are just a few, Can't turn my private chat on anymore
March 13, 200719 yr I thought that the cape emotes effects dont work in ftp. when you do them you only do the animation but nothing happens. So how did you do the prayer one with the effects?
March 13, 200719 yr The only time i was popular was when back when i pced and everyone kept pming me asking for pcws-and they still do whenever i turn my private on, lol. Join heart unit for a awesome pc clan! http://heartunit.org/forums/index.php?act=members
March 13, 200719 yr You are able to do the skill cape emote in a f2p as long as you have the cape on, even if the cape is recognised as member's object in f2p. Unfortunately each time i wear my mining cape there to shop, i will ALWAYS get a emote beggar before i'm done Hence the conclusion is as long as you own a skill cape, you become a big f2p magnet. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

So how did you do the prayer one with the effects? the emote works even though it says the cape is a members object... I NEVER go to F2P unless i absolutely have to.... I dislike F2P alot simply bc even if i have no items on people follow and ask for GP or free items.. RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp

March 13, 200719 yr The morning I got 99 thieving, I got like 3 emote requests instantly... But when I became f2p for 2 weeks after that, I was asked only a few times... Maybe they've seen the emotes so many times it's nothing cool anymore :| But yeah, on world 1 it just might cause problems...
March 13, 200719 yr i just got my cooking cape(10,583rd person to get it) and im shocked that people still go crazy when i do my emote in f2p ahwell its fun even though its a common 99 8-)
March 13, 200719 yr Although it is not specifically in the rules Zezima (or other high level person) worshipping is not allowed on these forums. I will edit your topic title and let the rest of the references remain this one time. Please refrian from using Zezima (or others) in your topics again. Our policy is basically for you to enjoy the game, but to let them enjoy the game in peace also.
March 13, 200719 yr Nice edit McGuff... but the right word would be "high ranked" or "famous", not "high leveled", as someone with hp cape probably already is high level... :P
March 13, 200719 yr LMAO, that's great. Looks like you had a good time. :) 99 Firemaking | 99 Mage | 99 Range | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Strength | 99 Attack
