Stores that let you return computer games

Featured Replies

could someone tell me of a store that lets you return pc games?

i think costco does, but there arent many game choices.

If you've never opened it with reciept.

Are you talking about full return, or exchange for less store credit works too?

Unless its unopened then no shop is obligated to take it back, and even if they do they might only give you store credit for it rather than an actual refund.

EB Games in the US and Canada does give store credit or discounts in exchange for games. :-k

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.

In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

Thats more like second hand rather than returning. Theres shops in the UK that buy old games to resell.

If you live in the UK head over to Gamestation or GAME they buy your games off you.

I always sell my brothers games at GameStation (UK). Hahahaha, he doesn't even realise they're missing.

Im not sure whether this store is in the area behind me, but its called game, and they accept games in for trade-ins.

:-k Only had to return one game here, it wasn't opened and the store gave me full cash back (UK)

A friend to all is a friend to none.

I think that Target will take back a game if its damaged or something. It has happened to my friend a few times.

Gamestop, but I'd advise against it. They gave me $5.00 for Jak II. It was almost brand new, too. :boohoo:

In other words, they give you [cabbage]ty deals on games, but if you don't feel like wasting time selling it on ebay, it's not really that bad.

BTW, if i didn't have the card, 10% of that total would be taken off

(after filling this out, I have realized that they screwed me because they left out a dual shock controller and an additional memory card. They also left off an Additional headset.

For a ridiculously low price, not even worth giving to them

Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.

Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)

I doubt any videogame store would take back a computer game, especially if it comes in a cardboard box. They cant really reclose those. I dont really have anyplace i know to go, but i would avoid gamestop, EB and gamecrazy. They all give me warnings that they dont accept returns on comp games.

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

Yeah, that's true. Only really worth doing if you have a shed load of games for a console you don't play anymore.

Why not just go to like BlockBuster and borrow games?
