Post other ideas here Well I think that's pretty stupid to me. Not only will that cost a ton of resources(fuel for rocket, solar panals, and a rocket with a large storage compartment), but if anything happens, there could be a rain of radioactive waste and widespread contamination. What you'll get are greenies. :uhh: If there's anything we Aussies have it's wide open, arid, unhospitable, desolate space. ...and greenies. Eventually technology will become advanced enough that we can safely fling it out to space, but preferably into some other star than our sun. Flinging it there may have dire consequences. Meaning even basic magnets can affect it's behavior. All containment would have to be is a carefully orchestrated system of magnets. Of course, make sure those magnets never fail, or BOOM. The amount of energy generated by M/A-M reactions is huge though. The harnessing of Anti-Matter would lead into a new human Renaissance. Best bet would be to send it to Mars, but when we need to move to Mars in 50 years because all of our resources are gone, we are gonna run right back into the same problem.
