No more than that. That's the period in which we really had the perfect storm. The team was all there, everything was working great, and the entire game came together in that period. One of things that's stuns me when I think about and I can't believe its true, we had none of that for Halo 2. Take that polish period and completely get rid of it. We miscalculated we screwed up, we came down to the wire and just lost all of that. So Halo 2 is far less than it could and should be in many ways because of that." Glitches galore, shallow, really shallow plot, and not to mention most of the Xbox live population have about as much maturity as a wet cat (can't be helped), Halo 2 was, pretty much, dreadful. I really hope they don't screw up 3, and it looks like they've seen the error of their ways. Talking about Halo 2 as the most complete multiplayer is total bullcrap. I am giving them the benifit of the doubt but i'm not really holding my breath for it. I enjoyed the first halo's multiplayer a bit but really disliked most of the single player in it. Granted that was probaly just tech issues but a lot of the levels were just very long and boring. We shall see what this one brings.

I'll agree with you on the maturity part, and kind of on the glitches (Though I love doing glitches *just* in a game made for it) But he really doesn't say why it was all that bad. Sure it may have copied off of other game types, but that's usually what all FPSs are. But IMO, H3 will be better.
May 1, 200719 yr May 16th ought to be interesting. Online beta comes out for those lucky people who got it. I'll be playing it on my friend's 360 as I never took the time to reserve Crackdown.
May 4, 200719 yr I got myself a multi player beta-card so that'll be fun. Also I've watched some trailers, making off's, etc. and it really looks awesome - both the multi player (love the way the added some offence-defence levels) and the single player! Member of #darkwebz.
