May 2, 200719 yr =+= And the Bible mentions the Rapture, but never states when it will be. Not before, not during, not after. It's completely up to God's plan. The day and hour is unknown, except to the Father and Son. Actually, the Bible doesn't mention the Rapture. Nor does it talk about the Antichrist. However it does talk about Antichrists. You haven't read the Book of Revelations and Daniel then. It speaks of the Anti-Christ and the Rapture (though the rapture is more in the book of Daniel).
May 3, 200719 yr well, in my opinion things are brewing up these days about antichrist and the end of the worldl..as it says in the bible christ will ahve a battle with the anti christ and that will be the end of the world. this to many people is hard to believe...why would jesus fight? and destroy us?.. well terrorists are threatening the world daily.. 911... and all those other incidents.. you never know that these can be the works of the followers of the antichrist. or these things can be just coincidental..hitler for an example tryed to amke the world "perfect" in his true image..this is a great sin..the anti christ is something that the media stresses alot and puts alot of pressure against. the world will end. and you know what they say the end is only a new beginning.. :boohoo:
May 3, 200719 yr What I don't like is on a show about the AntiChrist is that they were calling Ronald Reagan the AntiChrist because each of his names had 6 letters, Ronald Wilson Reagon. My name is that way too  :uhh: :uhh: Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
May 3, 200719 yr Author I saw that show, was it Countdown to Armageddon or The Antichrist? thats so stupid, you have 6-letters each in your first, middle and family names so your automatically considered the Antichrist... lol

[if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
May 3, 200719 yr I read this book called Remnants. I forgot the author ( :x ), but it's a story in which a meteor about 76 miles long hits the Earth, thus destroying it. the first place that gets hit? San Francisco.
May 3, 200719 yr /thank amazon for not cropping it. lawl. But seriously Hohto, do you have to turn every thread into an anti-American one? I mean, c'mon... Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
May 3, 200719 yr But seriously Hohto, do you have to turn every thread into an anti-American one? I mean, c'mon... The topic was about the end of the world and others pointed out things which fit to our friend George. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
May 3, 200719 yr =+= I'm hoping for a zombie type apocalypse, if something interesting happens. If that were possible, I would love that. Personally I think it will be us, the people, who will truly decide the end of the world, after all; we do have the power.
May 4, 200719 yr I find it odd how many people completely overlook the entire religion of Islam as being the Anti-Christ. - By it's very nature, it is literally Anti-Christ. - The holiest number in Islam is 666, the number of the Beast (I'm aware some say it's 616 or 656, but whatever). - Islam calls itself the "Religion of Peace", thus the "Promises of peace" prophecy is fulfilled. While they call themselves the religion of peace, smart people see through this disguise for the hatred it really carries. Believe it or not, there are people dumb enough to think Islam actually IS peaceful, even some people who are not Muslim's at all. The Qu'ran has passages ordering it's followers to kill all disbelievers, Christians and Jews especially. That's enough to tell you there's nothing peaceful about it. - Islamic people are currently trying to over-throw governments, and if the Bible is correct, as hard as it is to believe, they will be successful. Even in America. They will use our laws and political correctness against us to find loopholes in acceptance and diversity and eventually, Shariah law will be made to rule over Islamic peoples in ANY country. This of course, you'd say, wouldn't effect you, but it will. They will bend the laws further to make it so that anyone even NEAR their community can be dealt with as Shariah law says they can be, AKA, adulterous people can be stoned to death, women are treated as animals, etc etc. - Islam was born in the East, as the Anti-Christ is said to be born. I could continue, but I'm a bit bored with it and if you don't see my point, you're rather blind. As far as I see it (and I'm rather reasonable and don't give into stupid conspiracy theories and religous BS) the Bible very well could be right, and if it is, Islam itself is fulfilling all the prophecies. I'd say stand up and fight against Islam, but it's futile, right? I mean, if it's true, then the Bible is right and we'll all be okay if we believe in Jesus n' stuff. Personally, just looking at this makes me want to hug Jesus and ask for salvation, because Islam terrifies me. It is scary how such blind hatred can get so much power and can take over countries just by saying we're being unfair to their rights. May 4, 200719 yr You're wrong, Islam is a peaceful religion, when every non-islamic person (and woman) is wiped off the face of the earth. :P With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

May 4, 200719 yr You're wrong, Islam is a peaceful religion, when every non-islamic person (and woman) is wiped off the face of the earth. :P Yeah, because its not like the Sunni and Shia ever fight with eachother or anything... And yet again, another joke gets needlessly picked apart. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. May 4, 200719 yr Well, he does have a point. I know you were joking, though. It's pretty bad when you call yourself the religion of peace, yet you have sects that will kill eachother over petty things like small differences in beliefs. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
May 4, 200719 yr Every religion calls itself the religion of peace, and every religion kills other sects over miniscule differences of belief. Not just Islamic religions. The only difference is that Islamic religions should have dissolved around 2,000 years ago or grown up a little. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. May 4, 200719 yr No, I mean they kill eachother WITHIN their own religion over petty disputes in beliefs. Certainly Christians have killed Muslims and visa versa, but I've never heard of a Christian killing another Christian because their beliefs are a bit different. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
May 4, 200719 yr Catholic v Protestant. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. May 4, 200719 yr Yeah, you've only gotta listen to U2 for a few minutes to learn about the whole Catholic v Protestant thing. Gamertag: King Arizona
May 4, 200719 yr Yeah, you've only gotta listen to U2 for a few minutes to learn about the whole Catholic v Protestant thing. ...This is the only time I've heard of someone tell me that I *have* to listen to a band in order to understand history. Lol. If I listen to U2, I will probably be brainwashed into buying an iPod, or something. I don't think Catholic vs. Protestants was about differing beliefs as much as it was about differing beliefs requiring that laws and ways be changed. I've read something about Protestants saying the Pope was the Beast, or something, which is obviously going to get SOMEONE killed. :P *Shrug* I dunno', Muslims like to kill eachother over such moronic things like how laws should be and what part of the Qu'ran is right and blah blah. Who cares. Edit: Also, it should be noted that Muslims completely deny 666 being a holy number or a number of signifance at all. This is fair, considering that originally this was only going by the fact that the Arabic symbol for "Praise be to Allah" or "Allah" when turned sideways and mirrored is Greek for "666", but I was watching the news the other day and I saw a Muslim with a Qu'ran and written on top of the pages was the numbers 666. Soooo...I dunno' what all that is about, but I'd imagine it must have SOME significance if you're going to write it on a Qu'ran, considering that you can't defile them in any way, so it's obviously not being "defiled" by having it there.
