~in order to do this post a screen shot or list what you wear and what's in your inventory.

Edit: I swapped out cooking cape with spotted, just saying.

I dont runecraft but i would like to suggest that you should atleast wear a magic ammy for the defence, helps out abit atleast

I dont think a magic ammy gives magic defence. Def ammy would be a good suggestion though.

Best defense that I have found is skeletons lol. They have saved me so many times.

A tip to all the people who put their pouches on the first row of inventory: put them on the 5th row instead (3d row from below). This allows a quicker emptying of your pouches when runecrafting.

Had never thought of doing that, thanks

me no understandie??? :wall: :wall:

When you put the pouches on the 5th row of your backpack and right-click on them, the option to 'empty' will be highlighted without you having to move your mouse up and down. It saves a bit of time, it adds up if you have to do it a zillion times to get to a reasonable rc-level. So it will look like this:

Might not be the most efficient set up but I'm used to it.

And since I usually get questions about it, I have a steel pick from thieving HAMs so much and the coif is from the lvl 1 clues they give. Gotta love lvl 1 clues.

Is the best order for pouches. Cos 12+6+3=24 whnich is my reaminig space when filling up i can click across the first three pouches easily.quick refills and crafting when i get there.

No need for teletabs cos if they TB me i just run to mage. If they try to bind me/freeze me i have time to tele with glory.

Plus i have bracelet and ROL

Hat could be anything and pickaxe from bronze to addy. Usually they are just something I have found before starting.

Rsn: Onauric Combat: 136 Total: 2150+

All quests done since: 3rd December 2005

I'm at bandits right now...so I'm not gonna bother leaving to take a pic.

I generally go for the best mage defense so:

Mystic boots//hat

Full Black D Hide

Zammy Cape and Elemental Shield

I also wear a RoL, glory, and carry a rune pick...with pouches and essence in inventory obviously.

I'm not really worried about being attacked by mages, I seem to get more overall damage by the abyss monsters so I wear a rune hearlded helm and kite.

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Can't make a picture since I'm not p2p anyway.

I don't bother with mage protection gear as i never see many rcer pkers.

Also, I now place the pouches in the third from bottom row, great idea by dutchdreams

Yeah I'm going to start doing that, I like to mess around with abyss PKers before leaving.
Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....

The armor I wear is purely situational. I usually go around the river on the east side, rather than take a straight shot towards where the pkers usually sit. Either way, my outfit usually is comprised of...

Black Dragonhide Body

Black Dragonhide Legs

Steel Pickaxe

1 Air/Law/Earth

First 3 Pouches

Essence

I also have a mounted glory in my house, and it makes a convenient food stop for if I get damaged a bit by the Abyss monsters (stop in the kitchen, bake a cake, go back to work).

f475e02ecc.png

don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?

Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007

First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

why in gods name would you risk losing naval clothes after what it takes to get them?!

rchv9.png

If i ever reach 75 rc you will see a huge pouch in there too...

99 Range - 88 Defence - 91 Hitpoints

99 Combat - 1650+ Total

I'll never RC ever again with the wild ditch.

I would thew away my pouches, my tallies, everything, if I still played Rs

Too bad, maybe another time.

2480+ total

Omg, I just took 5 seconds away from my comp and got killed, by abyssal demons , I need a better rcing setup...
