Smithers world?

Fredz

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering, Is there a world were many high level smiths do their smithing. So us regular players can bring materials and get free high level smithing. Like bring 3 rune bars and the smither makes me rune legs.

I'm currently in the need of a high level smither so I'm wondering.

If not. I would like this to stay open as a discussion topic.

Could we create such an world? With the increasing *special* objects in tressure trail's there is certaintly a demand for a service like this. And high level smiths don't turn down a free smithing xp offer.

World suggestion?

I suggest world 121

hmm...a bit like the unofficial fletching guild in yanille bank.... :-k

Might drive rune prices down also if it becomes as well known as the fletching bank...im up for that

My suggestion: w98...sow e dont have to travel far from w99 ::'

A good idea, the big problem is many high lvl smithers train smithing through gold smelting and even like rune, they are very less likely to be doing mass smithing at all, so would be hard.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Still a big loss of money compared to gold smelting just for faster exp. In fact you lose more cash this method than gold smelting, even for steel smithing you lose less money

usualy people who want (and can afford!) high level smithing of 95+ prefer speed over cost and will be willing to pay more to gain their smithing level faster :XD:

I'd say world 120 has quite a lot of high lvl smiths. I know few of them prefer Yanille over Varrock. Don Victore is very frequently in Castle Wars bank, smelting rune bars. So I guess if you need something done, go look in 120. Might be other worlds too but it seems to me 120 is quite full of any kinds of high levels. No clue, as to why that is. It's my homeworld and I constantly feel small there lol.

personally i think this is a great idea, although if you wanted open anvils, just go to wrld 66, everone is either runecrafting or law running, and the world is almost always full, so this would be the perfect place. I prefer the varrock bank and anvil, so lets start a guild there

it's a nice idea in theory, but to carry it out you'd need it to be more than just rune. If it was just rune it wouldn't be worth using since rune isn't gathered as fast as other things. It's not like fast free laws (world 66) where people can bring inexpensive pure essence which is easy to obtain. I order for it to work you would need it to be every type of bar since lower levels would generally be the ones using it (with occasional rune bars).

My point is that there wouldn't be enough rune bars going to it to make it worthwhile to smiths.

I'm one of the noobs who went for 99 smithing with iron ores, smelthed and smithed into iron knifes for pure profits :-k

Anyways, as a 99 smith, I prefer to stay away from crowded areas and usually spend my time down in keldagrim brewing beer to add to my collection or at the blast furnace... God bless big Bertha

Crowd + smithing cape = long hours of doing the longest emote rs has to offer

Might be a good idea for sub 99's though (80 - 98 smith)
