I've had the Drill demon when rune essence teleporting, that and lost and found, mainly.

 

 

 

I'v seen one appearance of it at Karamja fishing, but that's more usually sandwich ladies, frogs, drunken dwarf, certer - you can sure tell when the place goes "hot" with randoms, stick around if you want one.

 

 

 

That is one thing I'm more and more sure of, different spots are either "hot" or "cold" for randoms, and one of the strongest predictors is seeing at least one random at the location. Maybe a tactic to reflect the fact than most autos tend to swarm their chosen resource.

I just got my first camo peice. i was teleing to fally when it happened. Just later i got the evil bob randome. I have been playing for 1.5 years and these are both firsts :D

Its strange i've had 3 drill demons in 1 week but never had it before then and i've been playing quite a while.

Flava: I'm pretty sure that it's not more common with woodcutting, because I have 82 woodcutting and only two parts of camo(and they weren't from woodcutting. They were from cooking and while I was walking around for the Legends Quest.) I think the Drill Sargeant is one of the randoms that is actually random.

I've only gotten demon from tellying

 

 

 

 

 

3 times from just random tellys and 5 from mass tellys

No, as a matter of fact.. you have a higher chance of getting a Mime and

 

Drill sergent in Edgevillie Bank.

 

 

 

Also you have a higher likelyhood of getting Frogs while wcing, aswell as MOM boxs.

 

 

 

I believe this because my new 5 day old account has gotten 5 Mime and 4 Camo events from cooking at Edgevillie, while spending the same time cooking at Draynor I recieved 8 boxes and a Frog Event.

 

 

 

All camo\mime related events I have ever had have been around Edgevillie.

I get lederhosen the most while wc.

If you are a level 3 woodcutter and don't say much, you get more randoms. I've tried that and it works. Sure people say a random is a random but there are certain randoms that you can do something to better your chances.

i think there is more of a chance of getting it in Karmaja because my acount, my pure, and my sisters acount all got theirs while in Karmaja.

By the way i've been playing runescape since the syth came out i forget how long that is, but ive trained hitman76 (now banned) to lvl 102, Ambrose273 lvl 76, dawgdog92 lvl 66, and my sisters sometimes lvl 60 all on lessers demons. thats over 20k lessers :shock: and i got my first rune med helm a couple days ago on ambrose while ranging...that stinks lol :thumbsup:

I got my camo bottoms while i was fly fishing in Barbarian Village. It must've been a lot of randomness because 20 minutes later, i got another M.O.M. and a lederhosen hat.

umm...but its like zombies you can only get em while burying bones so maybe there is a higher chacne of getting drill demon while woodcutting

 

 

 

So your saying that every time you bury 1000 straight bones, you get a zombie? Its still random, no matter what. Deal with it. If all you do is WC, then yeah, you are more likely to get Camo while WC'in. Just because you and your friend get Camo while WC'in doesn't mean that everyone is going to. Thats like saying that every single person gets MOM while teleing or something.

a couple of weeks agp i jad the drill demon TWICE i did all the tasks, was send back to fally and as a reward i got...500 gp instead of camo top though i didn't even have full yet.

I've seemed to have gotten 2/3 of my set while wcing... the other one was firemaking or something

Thats wierd because I got my hat minning in al karid.

 

 

 

And also my random events seem to group together, I got a ledderhousen hat on my main then top on my pure. Then... Mime emote and mime mask both on different accounts. Happened right after another too. And when I get one random I keep getting that same one alot.

 

 

 

And i see alot of people getting drill sergeant at edgeville willows, ive only seen one other at karumja fishing spot. Both are prime autoer spots... so in my own personal experience randoms irronically are not random.

I have all the random event clothes, and I got all of them from alching. as said before, when you act like an autoer, you get randoms.

RANDOM events are random, unless they are bound to a skill. The drill demon is not bound to a skill. All these stupid theories are annoying me.

Here's my theory: Although it is random, you have a greatly increased chance of getting one while doing something. For example: I get roughly 20 randoms an hour when wcing/fming/fishing etc. etc. When merchanting, I get around 5 an hour. See my point? :-k

I also heard that you can often get the MOM i you wear full jester with a power ammy and 16 bananas and a mith 2 hander in your inventory and stand in Varrock square shouting "Hooga Hooga!!".

i got 2 drill demons yesterday in the same 20mins (both when i was teleporting to camelot)

once i litterally had to do star jumps 10 times in a row and i was done lol
