There's cake through here, apparently.
Barihawk
16750 tokkul. That and the cape is all I know. Marco
Hehe, so far 5 Obsidian capes bought and one Obsidian Shield. Not sure if I'll go for enough to get an Onyx, or hold on to them until the majority catch up with a price rise of them.

Duke_Freedom
Yes, it increases rune prices. I believe it increases all prices by approximately 3.5 times. Sounds like the fury amulet is gonna half in price (or even worse) pretty soon with all this - actually, you may wonder why it hasn't already, especially if this is true as well. Sounds like there's a nice buck to be made for some fast merchants. :P The value of my bank at its height. Estimated value at the peak of the rares market: 250 billion+.Most likely the largest trade in RuneScape ever. Estimated value at the peak of the rares market: 70 billion+. The chaos prices are controlled by the NPC sellers, who sell at an average price of 102ea if 250 is in stock. The rune merchants who buy from the NPC still need to make profits, so they will mark chaos up 20-40gp each, and rightfully so. Therefore, chaos prices will remain the same due to this update. Unless, ofcourse, a runecrafting update makes chaos easier and more profitable to obtain. 1. Obsidian item prices [bleep]e, and fury prices stay the same (less likely). 2. Obsidian items rise, but not [bleep]e. The prices of fury drop drastically. Chaos -> fury becomes obselete. (very likely).
Latinoking
With all these easier/cheaper methods for furies/berserker what do you guys think might be the price let's say this summer? 3 mil? I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
jessy87
very likely that the chaos runes for a onyx becomes considerably less used. btw, i just sold my obby maul knife and sword i had bought while doing the berserker necklace testing, i paid not even 300k for all of them, i sold all these with the new gloves for tokkul and bought 125 obby rings, then sold the rings for 5kea, 625k the loss of less then 200k for the necklace and the profit of over 300k for these weapons, id say this last 2 weeks hast not been bad in terms of not really trying to make any money or play more then 5mins. just kind of glad that these things worked out nicely in the long wrong, i provided some good info on new training methods and tested them out first hand and informed several people on this forum about obby training and tehn to profit slightly without trying or expecting isnt so bad. Marco
Buying Onyx gems: Without Gloves - 300 000 TokKul With Gloves - 260 000 TokKul To Evil Eye; Selling Obsidian Shield: Without gloves - 6750 TokKul With gloves - 15750 TokKul Buying Obsidian Shield: W/o Gloves - 58 500 TokKul W/ Gloves - 67 500 TokKul Selling Obsidian Capes: Without Gloves - 9000 TokKul With Gloves - 21 000 TokKul Buying Obsidian Capes: W/o Gloves - 90 000 TokKul W/ Gloves - 78 000 TokKul So definatly not worth it compared to buying Obsidian Capes. All Runes - No Change in selling price, just reduced buying prices. Buying Dragonstones: Without Gloves - 1500 TokKul With Gloves - 1300 TokKul Coal - No selling price change. Mithril ore: Without Gloves - 26 TokKul With Gloves - 56 TokKul Adamate Ore: Without Gloves - 60 TokKul With Gloves - 140 TokKul. Jessy - How much did you sell the other Obsidian items for? yomom1919
Am I the only person smelling a better amulet / replacement of fury coming out in the next few months? I have a little theory that jagex is trying to lower the prices of furies to pave the way for a new, better amulet, while making the fury available to poorer players. If jagex drops the price of furies like this, it reduces the economic impact of a sudden, better amulet, and generally makes players happier. ...Apparently not all players, considering my 14m loss .
