The new worlds are nice. No reason at all to create dutch spoken servers, most dutch speak english anyway. And if you don't, what a great way of learning it!

Nice, it was about time for some new Dutch worlds. The current Dutch servers were getting way to populated.

Flags image when switching worlds: Four new Netherland worlds have been added (141-144). When using the switch world option form the log in page these worlds are using the USA flag - we are aware of this and looking to fix it.

New, hopefully lagfree, worlds for me! Yay! :D

I hope they add some new UK member servers soon... they're the most overcrowded now.

I like the new dutch servers, and thank god they're not in dutch. That would sound so awful.

Well if you only take Belgium and the Netherlands, around 25 million people speak dutch. If you take the whole world, a good 45-50 million speak dutch. That's a potential market there, but I don't really see the point. Most dutch people speak english. Those who don't are probably young kids, we have enough of them allready -.-

well the month before the day was definatly new info to me so thanks i learned somthin :mrgreen:

The UK definately does as that's where I'm from. And JaGEx is in England makes sense for them to do it as well. To me it seems more logical too as the day changes more often than the month and then month more than year.

seeing as your probibly pro american you dont relise we arnt the smartest country and dont do alot of things that make sence, most eastern countries put day before month and then fllowed by year last.

Back on-topic, kinda insane that when I first started playing there was 1/10 of the worlds there is now :o

 

 

 

Wont be long though till RS in is multiple languages, Dutch and Scandinavian languages seem the most likely.

Probably because its more cost effective to hire the servers in Holland. TBH it does not really matter where the servers are - after all this is the WORLD wide web and servers are accessible from anywhere in the world.
