We all love to skill certain skills, but theres a few we all hate because its boring. Lets face it,some skill were ment to be boring. This can include but not limited to fishing,farming,woodcutting,mining essence(mining).

~WOODCUTTING~

 

 

 

All higher level woodcutters now this can be a long strenuos skill. One unfortunate fact that is skill requires some attnention. Heres some ideas to do when you are woodcutting!

 

 

 

1] talk to people! chances are your going to be there long, might as well make some friends :D

 

 

 

2] set goals and plans! your probably trying to make some money off of this right? try to figure out how many trips you can make in 1 hour, and determine maximum profit. I usually have a graphing calculator in front of me trying different variables, such as trip numbers and cost per unit for maximum profit.

 

 

 

3]report macroers! dont be an ignorant person and report every level 3 that you see! Try to make sure they are macroers. Do things such as ask questions directly to them. Also see how they react to randoms. They will often just run away, just before they become un-visible to the map in the top right of yor screen. YOU CAN HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM :XD:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~FISHING~

 

 

 

This is an extremely repedative skill that requires very little attention. You click, wait a few mins, repeat. This is what i do when i fish!

 

 

 

1]Study up on some skills and facts! Knowledge is power on runescape! being a slow and less attentive skill you can read up and learn a thing or to! You can learn item prices if you plan to merchant, or learn whats the fastest way to skill your lower levled skills. Also you can read quest guides you plan on doing in the future.

 

 

 

2] Photoshop anyone?! Learning photoshop is a very useful, and fun thing! I love taking pictre from google and re-creating them as my own. Half the fun is just letting loose and expirementing. I have read maybe a paragraph or 2 about this exciting program, but i have done things such as this (ONCE I GO TO MY HOUSE COMP I CAN GIVE YOU A LINK TO MY BEST WORK OF ART). Remember theres always an "undo____" button for us "perfectionist"

 

 

 

3] Write a guide! Guess what i am doing now? Fishing! I am writing a guide not only because its fun, they are helpful and time occupying. I have always wanted to write a AOW guide, havent you? This way you can put alot of effort into your guide (like me :thumbsup: )

 

 

 

4]Report macroers! They just plain flat out ruin the game. Dont be ignorant and report every level 3 you see! Just once again repeat what you would do with atuo woodcutters. If a fish comes and spits there lobby pot or w/e out and they dont pick it up they are most likely macroers.

 

 

 

~FARMING~

 

 

 

This cn be a very rewarding skill once your in the higher levels. But lets face it, herbs take 70 mins averageto grow, and thats how you mainly get money from this skill. This skill requires almost no attention if you farm like me.

 

 

 

1] High alch baby! This is a wonderful spell! It gives 65 exp per alch. Not only is this great exp, it gives great cash! Some great examples are steel plate bodies at 1.2k ea, yew longs 768 gp ea. Watching the cash flow makes time fly by, just like having fun!

 

 

 

2] Buy/Steal seeds! Runescape forums and Tip It forums are a great place to buy tons of seeds! On Runescape people are litterally selling millions of gp worth of seeds DAILY! Tip It may be on a a wee bit smaller scale, but it rocks! You can alsways head to draynor and make Master Farmer become the worlds most seedless farmer, but getting higher level seeds is harder

 

 

 

3] Plan ahead your food, flower, and herb use! Theres a reason people farm, to get what they need! Need strength potions, use your limpwurt roots, dont sell! Trying to get SARADOMIN BREWS, LIKE FROM TRIPSIS! then grow toadflax seeds, not higher level herb seeds!

 

 

 

~MINING (ESS)~

 

This isn't necessarily a skill, but some people just gotta do it, like trying to get runescrafting up (I JUST GOT TODAY ) This can also be very profitable when you have pouches (i get 47 ess at a time, 4.7k a trip if i sell!) Its ashame this requires a somewhat amount of attention.

 

 

 

1] Turn up those tunes! I frequently listen to my itunes when i mine ess. It just seems to make things go by a bit faster. Why not sing along while your at it? Look up the lyrics and have a blast! Also you can buy songs on itunes (i wont be doing this so much because some (very naughty bad language and lots of swearing) jerk stole my ipod shuffle that i got for christmas :cry: )

 

 

 

2] Talk it up! Get in touch with your friends! you can plan events, such as the one i am planning ,MEMORIALS DAY ABLAZE! . There are plenty of other great events that are planned by the great TIP IT EVENTS TEAM.

 

 

 

3] Report macroers! Dont be ignorant and report every level 3 that you see! Unfortunatly there are many of these macroers. Theres always a few signs i look for, such as full camo (very popular macroer uniform) bronze pick axe,and always taking the same route or always using the same banker. Mostly very obvious facts practiced by almost every runescape player here, but with some exceptions. Some of your points don't apply at all, there are very little to no autoers training f2p skills in p2p worlds..

i honestly beg to differ. When i was writing this guide i litterally saw 20+ macroers fishing lobs. And no i didnt just report lv 3's, even though there were like 50+ of them

not the best, not the worst, you need to branch out a little I think

O and btw, its called multitasking. You can do anything while training these "boring stats" its not limited to the things that you stated, and I think that if we were bored enough, we would figure that out ourself, so there is really no point of this guide.

Listening to music also helps the time pass more quickly. I always use iTunes when I'm doing a boring skill. The best part? I never have to pay! You can take your CD's and put them onto your computer so you can listen to all your CD's as you play, and pausing or changing the song only envolves a few clicks!

Very nice! I Used alot of those ideas when i was woodcutting, it would get very boring, when all else failed i would just watch T.V.

oh, boo-hoo guys... It may nto eb the best guide in the world, but at least he's doing soemnthgin constructive unlike you who are just beign negative. I rather liked the guide, not for its content (a few nice ideas but most are wel nkown), but it was fun to read. Make another guide on this topic and lets see how well you do. :x

Either way, i was cutting soem maples, and readign soem guides. No, i was not killed, but, my ruen axe head was dropped soemwhere. No i can't find it as im sure soemoen picked it up or it disappeared. THe point is, im out 25k. Its not muhc, especially for me, but i also had a ruen axe broken form while reading this guide.... So to replace everyhtign, tis gonna cost me about 25.5k. -.-

I actually find fishing quite relaxing and fun, lets you level your total level while taking a break from other skills or just want to wind down while not wasting time.

You should add this.

 

 

 

Talk to them this is the first step if they don't talk back they might be a bot or just have public chat on friends.

 

 

 

Then you should follow them when they go to the bank if you wish. If they always talk the same route and use the same banker they could be a bot programed to do that or they could just do that by just luck.

 

 

 

Add them if they are on track what worlds they are on if they are always on the same world and log off only for 10 min ever 12 hours they are most likly bots no one plays 12 hours and takes only 10 min breaks. If they never log off they ARE bots no one can play 24/7. This is hard to do because I have heard bots now having sleeping softwear.

 

 

 

You always have to use your common sense if they look like bots act like bots and never log off they are most likly bots use your head.

 

 

 

Most common outfits for bots are full camo.

 

 

 

They will most likly be low leveled.

 

 

 

If a randoms comes up for them and they run away and come right back with out doing anything this is a warning sign.

I logged in for 12 hours and only took a 5min break.
