Scariest nightmare youve had

hmm when i have bad dreams that aren't wet-my-pants scary i continually slap my face and ask people to pour water on my face :lol: . but one time i new it was a dream and could control it like the above poster. i did everything that i wanted to do :-w :pray:

Any dreams that are terrifying enough to let me remember them in detail generally only last 5-10 minutes. Like another person on this thread, I can wake myself up in a dream. In the dream, I just close my eyes really tight. them open them slowfully yet forcefully. It actually opens my real eyes. It's kinda weird that I can control my body in a dream.

 

 

 

Although, if you actually know you're dreaming, it's cool. Basically, if I know I'm dreaming, I can control the dream. Let's say there's a cliff; I think "that's not a cliff, it's a slide" and it turns to a slide. I think you're dreams are controlled by thoughts, because every time I have a nightmare, it's when I fall asleep scared of something.

That's lucid dreaming I think, I can do it as well (and I think I'm the person who he mentioned) but I try not to do it because if you lucid dream your brain does not rest as much.

It happened only once in my life. That was pretty cool though.

Well what happened was I was walking around a town and every time i turned there was this guy and he etitehr ran away or BARFED. It kept happening and then i ran into the bank and i was at the top of a staircase and i turned around and he kicked me in the crotch and I Woke up

I havent had a nightmare In a while but I remember one from when I was a kid I woke up in bed(in the dream)I got out of bed and This figure came out of the floor with a gun and shot me I woke up (not really)and it happed like 3 more times then once I *woke up* the next time I got out of bed and I slightly different figure like slashed me with a dagger this happen 2 times then the next time the same figure slashed me again but at the top of the stair case then the next 3 times the stairs disappered letting me fall from a great hight dying as I hit the ground then the next about 8 times ( :( ) this figure at the bottom completely destroys me with its bare hands then somehow there was nothing on the ground floor so I went out the back door and open the gate to the front yard this black&white figure like killed me but I dunno what it did ok so then I woke up *really* and guess what I was afraid to get out of bed lol I stayed there for about an hour till someone came in to wake me up but I was already awake :D

the worst dream i have ever had was when i was 6.

 

 

 

i was walking through the bush near my house along a narrow track, when i see a battered old house. im thinkin yeh and keep walking when i see around 6 zombies ( really slow ones ) walking up the narrow track towards me. i start running when i see all these withered hands popping up form the ground. i keep running but i seem to be getting no where. then as soon as a zombie touches me i wake up sweating.

 

 

 

i am freaked of zombies so i tihnk thats it.

That was when I was young. A year or 6, I think. I dreamt I was with my mother in a very obscure shop that was a few blocks away from where we live. We got some stuff, and we went to the counter to pay for it. Then the lady at the counter told she wanted to kiss me mother because we bought something. When she almost reached my moms cheek, I saw her big teeth and she bit my mother in her neck. She was a vampire dressed up as a clerk. I never wanted to go to that little shop.

As a little boy, I used to have a nightmare in which I would be surrounded by a lot of sand and it would get in my mouth and I would start choking. Used to terrify me.

worst nightmare i have had recently is a whole wall at the place i work collapsed for no particular reason and i got fired :? was really weird i went outside because some person stole a our open/closed sign and i chased them for like 5 meters then heard a huge crash noise. i returned to the shop and saw the whole back wall collapsed. shortly after that my boss called my phone and said i was fired and a i had to fix the wall before i left :XD:

I have several..

 

 

 

 

 

One is at night when I'm at my country house by the lake, it's a faraway lake so there's no light and it's creepy at night. Then I notice moving star-like things in the sky and I quickly think it's alien ships. I try to warn my aunt nearby, and my mother, but they are talking and will not listen to me. Then suddenly, a meteorite of fire-red lava falls several meters in front of the house, in the lake. Then finally my mother and aunt notice something is going on, we move to the shore, then suddenly, a HUGE satellite that travelleved at light speed floats about 20 meters above us, just in front of us. Then the lights in the sky move more and more. In a desparate attempt, I try to wake up, and I succeed. I stayed several minutes traumatized, and I went back to sleep with the light open lol.

 

 

 

Another is in a small city, at night, and there's a giant, like huge(big like 20 soccer grounds, but probably more since it was still high in the sky) flying saucer with millions of window-like llights under it, that is above the city, I hurry up to take my family and try to escape, but the flying saucer seems to follow us! Then I wake up.

 

 

 

Another is in some sort of parallel dimension in which the aliens are about to attack us. I'm with my friend and my mother in my house. The lights are open, and I keep asking my mother to close them or we might be seen from outside by the aliens! But she doesn't listen. Finally, I go to my bed, and I look up the window and I see an alien ship! I quickly close the lights in the hopes they did not see me but then I see a huge black dragon that seems to be out of yu-gi-oh that roars in front of my window! I run to the other side of the house, near the patio, but the dragon turns around the house aswell and meets me at the patio! Then I wake up.

 

 

 

In one dream, I am in my house, exactly like it is in the real world, sitting in my bed, then I look around and I see a something in the darkness, then it moves and it's an alien! I wake up, again traumatized, because it seemed so real because it looked exactly like my house irl.

 

 

 

I make dreams like those every 2 weeks or so, can you guess what my hidden fear is?

when i was little, i get bad nightmares by....i can't explain it, i feel really sqeezed and there's a basketball bouncing to me then i jus woke up. it's reli weird how u feel it. Once i when i was little, i was saying sum random stuff...but thts probably cos i ws kinda ill :-s

last year in almost all dreams i could remember i got shot in head for atleast 10 times in one month. Luckily those dreams stopped

I didn't get many nightmares and when I did I learnt how to deal with it. I just thought of something good and I would go back to sleep and wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have another nightmare that night.

 

The last one I had was when I was 7, I was in a graveyard and I put a gravestone in the wrong place and this monster thing like something from the Ring mixed with Lord of the Rings came up from the ground. Woke up and was really scared. From then on I kind of learnt when I was going to have a nightmare and I would wake up. It's like I got a warning that a nightmare is coming so I'd wake up... Kind of strange but it worked.

 

The way I stopped myself having nightmares when I was young I would just think 'No nightmares' 3 times and I wouldn't have any, not sure why but this always worked.

I remember this dream very clearly as I have it often. Me & my sister (she lives in york) E-mail each other daily, so that will explain a bit of it.

 

 

 

In the dream, I wake up, and it is morning. So, I go to the computer to check my email, and there is no email from my sister. So I just think nothing of it, and go back to my room. But, instead, wheer my room should be there is just a huge chasm, and a big statue thing in the middle. It has its hand out, and on one of it's finger there is a chain, my sister is tied up by the chain. She cries out to me, and tells me she loves me, and the chain snaps, and she falls into the chasm.

 

 

 

At this point I wake up covered in sweat.

When I was like eight years old, I was always scared of the movie "Halloween". You know, the guy with the white mask and black eye sockets. In one of the movies, a girl is hiding behind a door, and right before she dies, you see the guy walk by under the door, the room is dark and there is light outside so you can see his feet walk by. In my dream, I was in a hallway with hundreds of doors and I was running away from the guy. I chose a door and waited, few minutes later, I see his shadow under the door and wake up scared as hell.
