First of all, hello everyone, some of you might know me, most probably won't. :wink:

 

Let's start at the start:

 

 

 

I had wanted to try my luck solo maging for some time (mainly for fun, money isn't really the main focus) but for that I needed some funds. (ironic isn't it? :-w )

 

I'm not the poorest person but I like to spend my cash when it comes in, be it on items or skills.

 

Right, now on Saturday I went to the barrows hoping I'd get some cash after buying 80 prayer.

 

I was hoping for alot of runes cause I don't get too many items anyway but lo and behold, I got this beauty:

 

 

 

 

After a quick trip to w2 I was 5.2 million gold up and decided it was time to do what I had wanted, my solo mage experiment.

 

I bought a bunch of supplies, got a defence level and was finally ready to go to ... bed. Yes even a god like me sleeps! *ahem*

 

But seriously now, here are pictures of my significant stats (well all of them cause I'm lazy like that :oops: ), the supplies I have for this experiment and what I'll be wearing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'll be using both Guthans and Veracs probably so put em both up there.

 

The gray-ish pots are antidotes (+) who supposedly last a while longer than superanties.

 

 

 

Now then, the main part..

 

Here should come a list of all the trips I'll be doing with those supplies and some calculations underneath.

Didn't adjust pots well, brought too few anties, spinos were being annoying the drops stayed out and I had to tele early because of a lvl 121 3-iteming lurer managing to lure both Prime and Supreme on the spot where they'd always hit me both..

[hide=Trip #3]Best trip of the series, being the longest, by far the most enjoyable and the most profitable. I was in a hurry to hop with a team so quickly grabbed a bunch of stuff and headed out, which turned out to be pretty good.

 

As I was praying most of the time I don't think I went under 40 hp even once, though the numerous food drops helped alot, I got like 5 swordfish and 2 bass drops :mrgreen:

 

All turned out well, I got a Dragon Axe about halfway through so a nice profit.

 

In the end a guy logged into my world, and for once he wasn't a complete idiot like most of the people that do, so I told him I had one kill left and he could have my world after.

[hide= Trip #4]Fourth trip with about the same invent as the third, though I managed to stay much longer on this one. Started very well as I got drop #3 on the third kill, a Berserker Ring, which also happens to be my 100th personal drop :D.

 

It was the only drop of that trip but also got some other thingies and nearly used up all of my casts :P .

 

Something funny also happened, about halfway through 2 mages dressed in half-decent gear rushed in, I politely asked them to hop but they refused and were being rude.

 

We killed 3 rexes with the 3 of us and I got all 3 kills (99 magic ftw), the next kill one of them was afk or something, got hammered by Rex and nearly died. They decided to hop anyway :wink:

I can offer up to 100,000 gp if you want to, but only if you really know what you're doing.. (I'd rather not have to tele before killing a single Rex cause of the suicider :? )

I'd be happy to be a permanent suicider for you, I actually specialize in getting Prime and Supreme on me. I bring my own food and Energy Pots (I bring enough for two people in case you're in need), but you provide the Throwing Axes (1 per trip). My rates are 100k a suicide, we can talk in game if you're interested.
