Discuss If the Dark bow is actually worth using, and protects over barrows , which will make it a viable pk weapon, then yes. . I personally think it will be similar to the maul, the only difference is now there are upwards of 2000 people who can kill Dark Beasts What I do know for certain, is if all these new people get 85+ slayer, whips will become extremely cheap, making 90 slayer the only real profitable level. June 3, 200719 yr why isnt it good that more people are training slayer? as for extra people training it to get the new bow, do you know quite how much work it is to get level 90? more than anything, the mid-high leve slayers are aiming for 85 still for whips, its only people that are already at or very close to 85 that will be inclined to go for the extra 5 levels. Also, what do you mean by the new whip? if you mean in desirability then perhaps, but for regular training i very much doubt it. the whip is popular because of its awesome power coupled with the fact that when you have it, you never need to spend money on it again. with dark bows, you need a constant supply of dragon arrows which wont be cheap.

For training you can use any level of arrows, It is comparable to the magic bow which is the only one that can use rune arrows at the moment, but you can still use bronze with it if you want.
June 3, 200719 yr there are a lot of people that after 85 slayer want to keep or kept goin so you really can't say since the BTS came out that there's WAY more people training slayer.. Personally i was waiting till after i hit 2k total to try for 99 slayer(that cape looks BA).. Yes i did stop at 85 only because i was tired of people saying " get 85 slayer dude" ..... June 3, 200719 yr I have no idea what details Jagex has released about the Dark Bow, but I'd be willing to bet my santa hat that it will be popular for about a week and then be worthless to everybody but the people who want to max range without spending the 50 or so mil to buy it in 48 hours

It'll take alot of effort to come up with a spec crappier than Karils, but I don't doubt they can do it. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
