well i was just looking in the jobs section of jagex his cooporative and i saw that one of the requierments was this:

Yes, It' s in their projects to have the game in different languages to suit a larger range of people.

well i'd say for them to make a chinese version. not many people in asia play it because there isn't a version for them. dependin on how well it goes then they should either not expand there or add another version

French would be a good thing though, if you go to a canadian world, there's always a mix in the french and english speaking there. I often speak in french too in those worlds :D

well it's wildly known that they tend to play games like asherons call and lineage, so it won't make much difference at all i think.

 

 

 

also i don't think they must release a dutch version, because most people in holland can speak english, only the people under 13 are the ones that can't speak english very well. also those are the ones that scam the most i think -.- (i live in holland myself)

they should make chinese, japanese or korean because then those autoers will all go there and be like= yay...

Yeah, they want to expand the game & make it available to a larger audience. Some of the languages you mentioned there have a possibility of coming out. It also depends on how they have fared with the German version.

That's the point. Since less people are playing from there, you can attract a larger audience by making their version. But I wouldn't know if they can translate all that stuff. :-w

it would be good to have these worlds so i can practice french and italian since they're getting rusty

the european languages may come out, but i doubt that a chinese or japanese version would come out. I am fluent in mandarin, and it would be hard to cram so many different characters, some with over twenty strokes, into runescape. but if they did make one, that'd be sweet.

hope so, i would love to talk in other languages, just for the fun of it, and it helps me become more fluent

But in french, it would get more ppl into the game than what it did for german, I know many people that only speaks french. I also know 2 forums with both 3000+ french ppl in it (french forums).

I agree, I'm from Belgium (Dutch) since most people can speak english rather well and also have the class at school. It would just sound silly, same with Battlefield and Counter-Strike:Source: -> almost no one plays the Dutch version.

 

It still would be nice if Jagex made it but it surely isn't a priority.
