Well, this is very "underground" because they're a local band that doesn't have much other than a pure volume so:

Their name may sound a little odd, to say the least, but their music is well written, and many of their songs are hilarious. Some are just plain cool and weird.

The Beatles, but they don't really count as only half of them is underground.

lmao not exactly what i meant, i meant bands that are alive and sound good, but they need a little bit of publicising(sp?).

Ah, alright. I'm not really 'into' that scene, I'm a bit claustrophobic. But two weeks ago I saw We are the Physics, and they have a pretty awesome live preformance. They haven't got an album out yet, so I don't know how they sound on a regular album, but that won't last long I think.

And, well, they're not really 'underground' (Nick Cave, lol) but their new project isn't as well known as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

8-) 8-) Can't believe the guy is doing this he's almost 50 years old.

Clap Your Hands? Are they 'underground'? I thought all the indie kids enjoyed their self titled and they're considered mainstream now. :P

Underground? I'll just substitute it with "fairly obscure".

In which case my vote would go to the epic natural sounds of The Wimhurst's Machine, or maybe the angsty yet cleverly titled songs of Have Fun Dying.
