wassupdude90
I just thought this would be an interesting thread... I don't actually have that good one. Well.. I have two actually, but they weren't really dangerous at all and I was just being paranoid/wuss.. mayb Well, here goes my two. 1: I was walking down the street. I live in FL, so there's a lot of trees around note that this was 11:30 I was walking from Walmart, so it was pretty dark the trees add an atmosphere (a creepy one to say the least). My bike got stolen a while ago so I had no option but to walk. All of a sudden, I see 3 guys who doesn't look much older (early 20s or so) than I am appear on the other side all of a sudden, and they approach me. They don't seem to be armed, but they all have their hands inside their pockets, so god knows what's inside them (I was hoping it wasn't a gun or a knife). I didn't show any outward appearance of panic (I'm pretty good at seemingly look like I appear calm and cool. All my friends or ppl who I played poker with say I have a pokerface like ppl on ESPN or somthin) but boy I was scared outa my mind. I put my one hand in my pocket to find some sharp object, but the best I had was my house key. But heck, I held it tight anyway and waited. Well, two of them went around me and I thought s**t, but they just went by. The other one and I bumped into each other b/c I was too busy looking at the other 2 for fear that they might stab me in the back. I thought he might kill me, but he just said "my bad" and just walked away. So it wasn't really dangerous at all, but I thought I might get kidnapped and get my kidney taken our or somthin lol. Oh well. 2: This is getting boring, so I'll write quick. dis one weren't dangerous either. Well, when I'm the only one home at night, I like to keep all the lights out and curtains down to save energy/I like darkness. So I'm eating spaghetti in my room watching a movie on ps2 when I hear a scratching noise by my door. I thought it was strange so I checked it out by looking outside the hole thing thats usually on the door that lets ppl see who's out side. Well, I see a guy outside doing something to the door which makes the noise. Christ, I thought. My house is gonna get robbed!! So I grab the fork that I was eating spaghetti with and grab a knife silently from the kitchen. And I watch the guy, and he still scrapes the door. Well, I keep watching for a few more minutes to realize that he's a guy from the apartment to scrape the paint off our door. The apt ppl recently repainted the whole place and got paint on our door, so we asked to scrape them off. So I guess this wasn't dangerous at all either, but it's still kinda strange why the heck the guy had to do it at night. Oh well. So now after reading my not-so-exciting and boring encounters, u list something exciting and mayb terrifying! If u have none, just write something u thought was one but was actually not (like mine) Or...you can just make fun of me being a paranoid lol. I really don't care. *Edited* things have been edited My comment should be on 2nd page about the racist accusations plz read it if u did feel strongly about it and again: I AM SORRY I have read my own thread and it does look like what some ppl claim it to be. If u don't know what I'm talking about b/c u just read this thread, just read the comments below and u'll get it rsn: wassupdude90 Age is meaningless; we are all the same on the inside. ThurinEthir
Yes. Double space and random spacing FTW. I've never had a really terrifying experience. I've been suspicious of some people before, but I've never been right. Like this one time, I saw this guy with a hidden gun and he looks tough and is dressed in rather poor clothes. I thought he was a criminal, turns out he was a cop. Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. I gave in and now I can't stop double spacing whether I'm writing or typing lol rsn: wassupdude90 Age is meaningless; we are all the same on the inside. Tigra00
It's funny how terrified people are of black people by default. :P The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
IGoddessI
Looking at my brother in his hospital bed when the doctors told him if they couldn't find out what was wrong with him; he will die in a matter of days. I can't describe what I felt. When I went home to grab him some stuff there was an ambulance at the front of my house, my mum had just collapsed in the middle of the bedroom floor and was rushed into surgery for pancreatitis, her bile duct was too fragile to operate on and if they had, she would have bled to death. I'm unsure as to what they did instead. The fear in me was the most intense I had ever felt. Heerlijk
When I was bungee Jumping in Bloukran River in South Africa the moment I got up to the edge and ready to jump I was the most scared I have ever been in my whole life. It's 700ft down, I had to just go. Turns out it was a blast! :D And for those calling him racist, can you honestly justify you wouldn't think similar thoughts? With their hands in their pockets and all. The last time I drove through Chicago's ghetto it was 4 PM and all that was on my mind was GET OUT! IGoddessI
There was a psychology experiment where one group of people watched an Indigenous person push a person of European descent and were to rate the severity of the push. The other group watched the person of European descent push with the same force, the Indigenous person and rate the severity of the push. The outcome was that people perceived the Indigenous person to be more violently rated than those of European descent. PumpkinPete112
1. I was driving, pulling out to turn at a 3-way intersection, and i turned and out of nowhere an 18-wheeler came speeding through and almost rear-ended me (he was going 75ish in a 45) and took off my side mirror. If he hit me I would have been dead on impact most likely. 2. A wild dog (Huge one, woulda ripped me to shreds) was chasing me and my friend in the bush. She couldn't run fast (we were just going for a walk) so i picked her up on my shoulders which slowed me down but i managed to get to a steep mountianside that we climbed up. Cuase Im a strong guy, but not strong enough to climb this thing with her on my shoulders, hard as it is. (At the top is a town) 3. In football conditioning we were doing "backwards climbers" up high sets of steps.(You go on your hands and feet and climb up backwards, harder than it sounds). SO im near the top (step 25/35) and i slipped and almost cracked my head on the way down, but i caught myself on the handrail) Yeah that last one was weak. arizark
most terrifying experience for me was when i was just lazing around one summer day and i saw a spider which appeared to be on the outside of my screen door so i though i would tap the door to see if it could go away oh and at this point i would like to mention i am seriously arachnophobic i have even had therapy and junk because of it. anyway i went to tap the window and as i tapped it i though wait windows arnt hairy and they dont move when i touch it....OMFG ITS INSIDE AND I TOUCHED IT!!!!!!and yeah after that i literally hid in corner cowering :? I think he would have still told the story if they were 3 white men. I think he was really just trying to set situation of the scene by discribing the surroundings. @people who think he is stereotyping/racist/etc because he said "african americans" (oh dear) Would you act the same if he said white people/europeans/asians/rednecks/druggies? I think you are, notice how he also mentioned their age and the fact that they had hands in pockets. Hell i would be scared too. If he said I saw three black dudes and I was scared, that would be racist. But he obviously had reasons to believe those African Americans might be up to no good, and I feel that was what they were trying to do. Probably just wanted to spook him. I hate PC [cabbage]. I'm sure statistics will back me up here, but you'd have more to fear walking down a dark alley with 'African Americans' walking you way then a group of whities? (Lets see which gets people more upset, me actually using the PC term of African American or saying whities, as I'm sure it'll be the first one). I know it's not because of their race, and it is a socio-economic problem, as alot of this stuff happens in the poorer areas. Go blame the media and statistic for his reactions and don't call him racist. Scariest thing I've done was to jump off the Harbour Bridge.. There was a bungee cord attatched of course. xD Then I did it again with the cord not around by feet but attatched to my harness so you can run and jump off, thats fun, haha. Abelmisi
There we go. I was going home from my sisters' apartman [garden tool] home with public transport (that means tram and bus.) It was 10 pm or something around that. I had to change from the tram to a bus and while I was waiting listening to my iPod 2 guys aged around 16 (me being 14) representing a kind of minority came up to me and asked the time (common trick here to make you show them your mobile so the thieves will see if it's worth to steal or not)., I don't wanna tell you guys my impressions because I don't feel like getting labeled as a "*ing racist". Anyway I told them that I don't know, then they *ed off for a solid 3 minutes and when the bus came I got up and so did they. At every stop they were watching me whether I get down or now so they can follow me and get my stuff. Well at the stop where I usually got down, I waited till the driver started closing the doors and I slipped down. Was fun seeing the bus pass by and them looking outraged that they couldn't catch me. Black people don't get offended. They were gypsies.

wassupdude90
ok.. dis was supposed to be a fun thread for posting experiences but I guess I did overlook my own writings. I viewed it again and I do see legit claims. let me explain a few things 1. My experiences aren't totally made up at all and all 100% true 2. I live in Florida where there are MANY Hispanic workers. If you know what I'm talking about b/c u also live in FL or just know, the worker in my apartment complex could have been ANYONE ranging from black to white to any other race/ethnicity. It JUST HAPPENED TO BE a hispanic worker and I am SINCERELY SORRY if it sounded like I was racially discriminating. For criticizers, I get where you come from and after this reply, I WILL CHANGE IT so that this post can resume being what it was SUPPOSED to be. 3. For the first story, it really was 3 African Americans. I also get where ppl come from when they call me racist, and I will change it to "3 guys" after posting this. I'm sorry if I offended you. 4. This is the most important one for me, b/c I'm an Asian myself, a minority group also like Hispanics and African Americans. It is ironic that a minority wrote a seemingly-racist post, and I see where the criticisms come from. Of course, just because I'm an Asian doesn't mean I absolutely can't be a racist, but in my case, I've faced racism a plenty of times, mostly not in America but to other places that I've traveled. I know what it feels like and I really am sorry for writing in a way that sounded racist. Usually I don't care that much for a lot of criticisms I get (whether on web or real) but I really don't like being labeled a racist because I am against racism. I know that a person could have read it and saw it as a racist post. I AM SORRY changes will be made right after this. 5. If apology is accepted, can ppl please make this post like it was supposed to be? rsn: wassupdude90 Age is meaningless; we are all the same on the inside. RayOxide
I once went to the Royal Adelaide Hospital because my brother broke his wrist, we visited him every 3 or 4 days, and my mother and I went in the car waiting for my bro's girlfriend, as we waited a hunchbacked old drug addict walked outside of the hospital screaming in "pain" and went to the East Wing, lay there infront of the door for about 20 mins, but before that she walked near us (In the car) so I ducked down and nearly started crying because, she looked a bit like that person from the horror movie called "The Grudge" ...... If it happened to you, you'd nearly cry! I dont need a siggy no moar.
