What would make a good Non-Skill Guild?

Featured Replies

Any minigame guild, the advantage is that for eveyr won game, about 10% extra exp is given. The same amount is added to a pool, the best minigamer gets the entire exp pool.

Millionares club? Like in Donald Duck ftw.. You must need like to have atleast 1 million gp in bank to walk in, all newcomers standing outside trying to get in, while all those rich and experienced players get a cup of coffee while reading newest financeinfos from newspaper.. Would be nice.

I don't think you understand what I mean by Guild.

They may be clans and places to do certain things but they offer no bonuses etc. Such as the cooking guild offers an easy flour grinding area, inaccessible to others.

For example, the Dragonslayers Union might offer some Dragonfire Protection clothing for sale, but only if you have killed X amount of dragons or found a special dragon drop etc.

The bot guild. All the bots go in there. It has tons of bottable stuff, but every time they get one of the ores/fish/logs, their exp in that skill goes down. Banking the items will send them to a seperate bank which will be cleared by Jagex every month of all the botted items.

And once the bots check in...they don't check out...

Otherwise known as the "Bot Motel", much like the "Rat Motel". The rats check in, but they don't check out. In this case it's bots.

Maybe this can be a random event. The bot is teleported to an island much like Evil Bob's and the island is packed with various trees, ore rocks, fishing spots etc. The only way off the island is to stop doing whatever you're doing until a 1 minute (or 30 seconds) timer finishes counting down. If you're a human player, you'll understand this "no-action" action and wait for the counter and then you'll be whisked off the island and back to whatever you were doing. If you're a bot, you'll head to the nearest tree/rock/fishing spot etc and be trapped on the island indefinitely.

There will also be item-stealing Imps going around, pickpocketing the bots to keep their inventory empty or at least low on items so that the bots don't walk off to bank their ill gained goods.

Then, every hour all the bots on the island are permanently banned. Of course, to prevent players from inadvertently being permanently banned, 5 minutes before this set banning time, no players are teleported to the island and any players still on the island are given a chance to solve a "Mysterious Box" to get an "Escape button" to get off the island. The bots will not notice this and thus stay on the island until the appointed perm ban time.

Maybe I should start my own thread instead of hijacking another thread... talk about totally off-topic.

That would be a great idea, but to make it undetectable by bots, make it the same exact location you were in, am I seeing the rest of ScapeRune here or what?

The servents guild! woot lol thats already a guild XD

iFishcopy-1.png

How about the Skill Cape Guild.

You need 1 skill cape for entry, but the more you have, the better benefits you can have.

Benefits could be relatable to the caped skill, or relate to similar skills, e.g., a WC skill cape owner gets extra xp burning logs in guild.

Also the Skill Cape Guild provides access to the level 100 attainable items:

- double rune mining

- level 100 slayer monster dropping high value item that isn't too rare

- triple NAT crafting or a gigantasaurus pouch

- monsters that drop 'god' bones

- boosted high alching (1.25 times high alch value)

- convert POH to castle with moat

So you get extra benefit from gaining lvl99 in a skill but also get a boost on leveling the other skills.

Of course the 'easy' 99 skills should give less benefit than the 'hard' ones.

WARNING: Prone to ramble ... but you probably already know that!

I think an autoers guild would be nice. All the bots could go to a day spa and then get banned while having their nails done... :P
