Yes, but that's coming out of the 25 million. That's essentially taking less than the maximum they're willing to pay simply to cover up for their screwup - I'll be getting less than what I'm supposed to be paid at the end of the day, like some sort of tax. For killing people.

I saw this documentary somewhere, or this book or something, and it's got an interview with a terrorist... Or someone like that, and he says the trick to committing mass killings (Bombs, and all that) is to not think of the victims as people, just think of them as an object, like a can you're gonna pop with your BB Gun.

I would refuse. First off, those thousand people will have friends and family who will needlessly miss them and in that sence innocent people are harmed. Second, terrorist implies that the group wanting to possess my knowledge are not fighting for their freedom but rather are attempting to strip freedom of some other group. I will not be a part of that. Third, the value of even a single human life is worth, in my mind, far more then all the money in the world.

1,000 people aye? I'd take the 25mil; if that's the upper limit, I'll take all I can get out of them. No point ripping yourself off if the number of casualties is going to be the same.

I think he was saying there would be no consequences, like those people never existed in the first place. Trying to simplify the money/murder ratio as much as possible just to see what peoples' price is.

 

 

 

I'll just say under the scenario given I would not do it, I'd need more information about who I would be killing. 90% probable I wouldn't do it after I am given more info.

What if they have family somewhere? Or what if the area bombed is rich in certain raw materials, which in turn affects families who work with related industries? Someone will suffer in the end.

I wouldn't do it. I always believed people who harm innocent people are not worth anything, and I'm not about to become a hypocrite. In addition with the 1000 deaths, they have familiy: another 4000 mourning. With the whole country at alert, another 300 million worried. A war breaks out, another 10,000 killed.

And you know they didn't have it coming because you're selling a bomb to terrorists, who strive to create terror, usually through physical attacks, on innocent people.

I'd do it. As long as I know where its going to happen and manage to get some camera footage of the damage.

 

 

 

I'd then take the $25,000,000 for myself and sell the footage to the media. The money raised by the footage would go to the family's of the deceased and be used to save as many lives as possible around the world.

 

 

 

I'm assuming the only film footage of a another 9/11 type incident would be worth loads. I can't begin to guess how much.

No, not in this case. If I were to make something like this, I would be the mindmaster of the operation, I wouldn't reduce myself to be a mere subordinate. And whatever horrible thing I would decide to do, it would be something sly, conceived for a certain purpose, not for monetary reasons.

I like this thread... If answers are truthfully written you can see who would screw you over for a quick buck, who is going to save the world when they grow up and who puts their family over any possible given price...Then of course you have the people who are fence sitters who want the money and to save the world.

 

 

 

Other things I can see is if you have a close relationship with your family, whether there is hostility, poker face people, those who grew up in a strict environment compared to those in a more lenient, those who are raised in close families, those who have lost someone in their family or a divorce....
