February 3, 200521 yr I wanna make a sticky of good computer shops to use in all our countries. Partly because I need more good suggestions, and partly because I think it could help everyone who's looking for a good reliable place to buy parts from I'll start with some UK ones: http://www.overclockers.co.uk - performance parts, large range of stock http://www.scan.co.uk - cheap, lots of items http://www.casetech.co.uk - cheap, lots of case & mod parts along with performance too http://www.microdirect.co.uk - cheap again, I like this one because I can get to the shop in person easily http://www.kustompcs.co.uk - performance parts, again a large range of them Please suggest other sites which you've had experience with, along with why they're good. However, please don't suggest any sites which you haven't used. Add your sites with info on what country they're in. If there's enough suggestions of places then I'll make a sticky for us all to use.
February 3, 200521 yr Newegg.com. That's where I got all of the parts for my computer. I had no problems and my order was shipped very quickly.
February 3, 200521 yr http://www.novatech.co.uk is reasonable especially if you are close by to save on shipping by collecting yourself. February 3, 200521 yr Swedish Hardware stores: http://www.komplett.se - Decent prices, great support. http://www.datorbutiken.se - Slightly cheaper, but poor support. http://www.pcaction.se - Decent prices, decent support. Sometimes offers free shipping.
February 3, 200521 yr http://www.xcase.co.uk - VERY fast delivery, next day if you order before 3 even if you dont choose a next day delivery. Not really the cheapest overall but there are a lot of products which they sell which are cheaper than anywhere else. February 3, 200521 yr http://www.dell.ca (.com, .uk, etc) http://www.tigerdirect.ca http://www.apple.ca http://www.factorydirect.ca (Canadian sites)
February 11, 200521 yr http://www.ebuyer.com is good too. Shame delivery takes a bit longer than most places. February 11, 200521 yr There are dozens of computer stores in New Zealand, and most would probably give decent service and value. The first place to look at should be http://www.pricespy.co.nz A few specific stores. Low prices: Both of these stores have low prices (for NZ), particaly SuperCheapPC. http://www.c1computer.co.nz http://www.supercheappc.biz paradigm PC has a good range of products, and I particaly like the design of their website. From what I seen they have reasonable prices. http://www.pp.co.nz DragonPC is one of my all time favourite stores, they have a good range of products and had brought several items from them with no issues. They also gave me a free mouse :D http://www.dragonpc.co.nz Ascent is one of the more popular shops, suppose to have excellent customer service and they have a good range of hardware. Although, they are often on the more expensive side. http://www.ascent.co.nz Stylespc has a decent reputation and never had problems buying from them. Although, their prices can be expensive on same items. http://www.stylespc.com Seems to have a good range of stock. http://www.pctronix.co.nz

February 12, 200521 yr makes me wonder where that guy has been :) The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

February 12, 200521 yr Author Kane, I'm pretty sure you won't have used every single one of those, and so I'm not going to add them. I said to only list those which you have used yourself. What's more, the owner of chill-tek.com has Perth trading standards after him and he's disappeared.

February 12, 200521 yr http://www.cyberguys.com - A very nice computer and notebook accessory & supply source store that has a ton of items. I use it all the time for the little things that are hard to find. Free Catalog! http://www.svc.com - A very nice computer store that sells all types of hardware and software also with little techincal parts for those advanced users who are into modding. http://www.tigerdirect.com - This is the website I use the most to order all my stuff. The site has lots of pictures and catches your eye when you wanna buy something. Free Catalog! http://www.pricewatch.com - The website that has everything and anything that has to do with computers. Very easy to find what your looking for. Something that I really like and read everyday is the tech news they have on about game systems, new products, reviews and anything else that involves tech stuff. :) http://www.highspeedpc.com - If your looking for water coolant or high tech hardware stuff this is the place. It's also another nice modding website that is very useful. I didnt want to put up newegg because somebody else wrote about it but thats a good site that a lot of people know and use. :D
February 17, 200521 yr for Canada http://www.a-power.com they sell cheap computer part and computers this is for only people who live in BC

I also use them personally for various things at times, as well. Have also used Pradigm, and have found them to be most helpful also - from going in to pick the stuff up from their shop, it appears to be a group of Uni students/geeks running it... hehe... As Mili mentioned, however... if ever you are buying anything PC-wise in NZ... your first port of call should always be pricespy.co.nz - it's an online price comparison site, that compares prices between a large number of PC suppliers across the country... rather handy, to say the least :) One-time #13 smither.All-time #1 noob.
February 28, 200521 yr http://www.ebuyer.co.uk reasonably cheap never had any problems with em RS Name: o Johnno oPreviously Ultrasmasher
February 28, 200521 yr Kane, I'm pretty sure you won't have used every single one of those, and so I'm not going to add them. I said to only list those which you have used yourself. What's more, the owner of chill-tek.com has Perth trading standards after him and he's disappeared. ye its from a different forum i go to and all had been verified from the users at that time. chill tech advertise in custom pc so that pretty wierd
February 28, 200521 yr Author All that means is that they are paying custom PC money. Chill tek was in PC Zone's watchdog column several times, the final of which had quotes from a man from perth trading standards asking customers to contact him. Funnily enough, Custom PC is a sister magazine of PC Zone.
July 6, 200521 yr Well, most of the places I use are already mentioned, but add zipzoomfly.com to the list and EBAY!! Awesome deals abound on ebay, especially for older computer parts like PC100/133 ram (which alot of computer stroes don't stock anymore) . You can also get some good deals on new products.
November 24, 200520 yr http://www.slickdeals.net not a merchant site, but a forum where people post good deals via net or b&m similar to http://www.fatwallet.com All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
November 24, 200520 yr USA: http://frozencpu.com - I buy about 70% of my comp mods there. http://svc.com - The other 30% of my mods are from there. Yes I know this is a old topic.
