Mass autoer ban that wasnt announced?

On may 12th, I recorded the levels you would need to get into the top 100k players in a given skill. Fishing required 1,639,249 exp. I checked again today, and it has gone UP to 1,706,157 exp. A change of 66k exp.

Do you actually know anything about economics? I don't go as far as mc90123 in saying I like them for their effect on the prices of raw materials, but if you honestly think the only reason RS and its economy is messed up, then you need to read up a bit more, and open your eyes a bit. There are hundreds of factors that contribute to it, some so small and obvious they're barely worth mentioning.

Well, I think they've been telling us they have been banning, but not making an official number anouncement.

now raw material prices will go up, and there'll be less competition for them. of course, less competition will lead to more people getting them, so it'll be the same again, but the prices will remain higher because noone will be 24houring once the bots are all banned. what jagex needs to do is make the security thing that tip.it has when making a new account, that way they can't make more bots.

the new random event was made to get autoers stuck in the randoms, thus disabling them. another foolproof way to get the autoers is on those random events with questions, continually bringing out new questions every month or two.

Well, I don't know if it's related, but the high score list says that my fishing lvl is unranked, yet it's like 78 (or something, I haven't played in a while). Everything else seems to be fine, just fishing is different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

P.S. I am currently banned for a members payment error, so... *shrugs*

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well if you were banned at all, you wouldn't show up on the high scores, regardless of rank.

A mass-ban on Autoers isn't something Jagex want to tell their Customers. Simply because it's not the main content of the Game. Instead, Updates, Knowledge Base, Etc is what Jagex want to tell their Customers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I find that whenever there are many rants on Autoers, then Jagex will remind their Customers on how much progress they're making concerning the campaign of banning Autoers.

I use RSDemon and it stores your highscore places as well as other things... Every so often when I update my scores i gain loads of fishing, wc and mining places. I also gain att/str/def places showing wither autoers/'farmers'/real world traders are getting banned.

hmm, playing at 18 hours a day for a month(31 days) would be 551 hours, but it has been said in a thread about training fishing that it takes over 1000 hours fishing sharks for a 99. and all the autoers with 76 fishing fish sharks, so they'd have to play for 2 months at that rate to get 99 fishing.... 2 months isn't much...
